Hi bro, I wanted to clear a doubt. There is something wrong with my spring boot projects, it doesn't take or recognize application.properties file. I write server.port=8090 or anything in the file but it is running on 8080 only. I don't understand why that happening. Can you please help?

Bro is it necessary to Install Eclipse before spring tool suit.
Or JDK and Spring tool suit are Enough
