My style and go-to sewing patterns are quite different to yours and yet I still lap these videos up because the way you pick your fabrics, know your style, and curate your wardrobe is so inspiring to me! Thank you for sharing and modelling all of them, so nice to see them all on you! I always want to quit my job and sew a million things when I watch 😂
Wow all your pieces look store bought! You've really inspired me to get serious about learning how to sew so that I can entirely customize my wardrobe just like you have.
I really enjoyed your video, even though we don't have the same style at all. 😄 I prefer tops that emphasise the waist, combined with flowy bottoms. You have such an entertaining and friendly way of talking that the 90 minutes just flew by! 😊
You're so sweet, thank you! I actually feel like I should make more things with waist emphasis! haha I always gravitate toward oversized tops, but definitely want to incorporate more waist emphasis into my wardrobe. Maybe my year 3 video will be more similar to your style after all! haha Thanks for watching! 😊
Wooow, so beautiful! I’m in love with the first dress. The fabric does remind me of traditional Slavic ornaments, especially white Khokhloma (usually it is black). Mainly it is used as a print for dishes but sometime it is used on accessories like shawl and etc😊
I JUST DISCOVERED YOU! Omg you are so talented and you articulate your beautiful creations so well! New subbie! Can’t wait to watch all your past videos and ones to come! Love your daughter’s birthday dress as well!❤
You're really good at picking out fabrics and patterns!!! I'm also a beginner sewist, and my eternal struggle is not being able to visualize fabric as a garment. Anyways, great video! You've inspired me to make more basics for my everyday wardrobe🙂
Thank you!! I feel like I kind of struggle with the opposite thing that you do! Haha I can so easily pick up some fabric and know what I want to turn it into, but if I buy a pattern first, it can be so tricky to find the right fabric! Fabric shopping is definitely one of my favorite things about sewing, so it’s no wonder my stash is getting a little out of control. Haha Thanks so much for watching! It’s so great to hear I’ve inspired you!! I know basics aren’t the most exciting things to make, but it feels so good to get dressed and realize “oh! I made my entire outfit today!” ☺️
You are so inspiring and a beautiful sewer, both in choice of fabrics and choice of pattern to make it in. I am a 70ish senior gone back to sewing ..... love watching your videos, and your honesty with different issues and showing us fails you were not happy with.... we need to see that. You have a lovely figure and everything looks good on you.....at my age styles and fabric selections are different to still feel good and look good, taking into consideration body shape changes over the years. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and honesty.....you are a joy to watch, and your pleasant overview and the way you present your projects is so encouraging to try new things..... Keep up the great videos ❤👍
Usually I only follow sewists with a similar body shape to mine but I really enjoy watching your videos! Your makes are gorgeous so you’ve encouraged me to trust that with time and practice, my makes can be that nice as well!
Thanks so much!! I do use pretty forgiving patterns when it comes to fit too, which I think helps a lot as a beginner! Tie back, stretch, and elastic waistbands are my best friends! They give the illusion that I’m better at fit than I actually am! Haha Thanks for watching! ☺️
As always, loved this video and seeing you talk about fabrics and why you did certain things, chose specific fabrics. You have such an eye! Thank you for sharing with us, I always feel so inspired after watching your videos 😊
I just found your channel! Love your sunscreen PSA. We actually don't have insurance but my husbands family literally all have had skin cancer so we finally went to get checked. It was only $150 for a full skin cancer check for each of us. Well worth it! If you don't have insurance, or make too much for state/govt insurance, call local offices and ask. Many times self pay is lower than using insurance (they charge insurance companies more, i don't know why but they do)
I enjoyed this long video very much. Went by in a flash too. Enjoyed all your makes. The banana bag was my favorite! I will make one for myself soon! Thank you.
Thank you!! Also glad to hear it went by quickly! I didn’t set out to make such a long video, so was a little worried it’d be too much! 😅 The banana bag is my favorite bag ever! I hope you love yours too!
I loved seeing all of these!!! That Milkmaid top is adorable and Im obsessed with that linen set for your daughter as well as her pocket pants🥹 I can’t wait to make clothes for my kids one day! So special
I just found your channel but started with one when you lived in Boston. Watching this and when you said you lived in SF now I got so excited! I hope you’re loving the bay! Hope I have the luck of running into you one day ❤
Woo hoo! Welcome! We LOVE it here! It's so beautiful, there's good food EVERYWHERE, people are so friendly, and the weather is perfect all year?! That would be so fun! Probably fabric shopping one of these days! haha Do you have any favorite fabric stores in the area? I'm still on the hunt, especially since Fabric Outlet in Mission closed!
I loved this video so much! Especially how you talked through your decisions on fabric type and the drape you were going for. As for the linen peter pants, you should definitely dye them a chartreuse green
Thank you! Choosing fabric is one of my favorite parts of sewing! I feel like I'm finally gaining a decent understanding about how different types of fibers behave, and it's been really fun! And yes, I like your thinking! I keep talking myself into something more neutral, but I can just dye them green and pair them with neutrals!
Thank you so much! 💕 I feel like part of what makes them fit well is choosing really forgiving styles, but it's been fun dipping my toes in fitted garment making!
The bias cut dress you made! Such a lovely colour. I bet you could easily make it into a skirt which would look so lovely with a separate cami or even a sweater for fall.
I watched this and your year one of sewing back to back! You've made some wonderful things. Thank you for sharing. It was really helpful to know which patterns you used. I've made a list of the ones I would like to try. I've only being sewing for a few weeks and I'm about to start my first proper top. I made a mock up last week and it was okay 😊
Oh wow thank you!! Those are my two longest videos, so I appreciate the commitment to a full evening of listening to me chat sewing things!! ☺️💕 I’m so happy to hear I gave you some ideas! So many of the patterns I use are great for beginners, and I’m sure you’ll end up with a bunch of pieces you love in no time! Good luck and have so much fun!
12:45 you could use a hook and eye closure in the front to keep it from gaping open! I had a similar issue with mood fabrics foxglove bodysuit and that was my fix! This dress is gorgeous!
this was fun to watch and get ideas and nice to see how you used the fabric. do you have a video showing how to do lettuce hem? also a video how you cut the fabric to match the patterns like the stripes, plaids? and can you show how to make your daughters leggings, so fun! i want to try and make my daughter some but haven't sewed pants before
I love your videos! You make sewing look so fun and enjoyable. And it's so great not to be contributing to fast fashion! You've definitely inspired me to get back into sewing :) I learnt to sew clothes with my grandmother's 1990s Reader's Digest Book (so good, I just bought the latest version) Will you try some traditional paper patterns in the future? Please make more videos!
Ah thank you!! I’m so happy to hear my videos are helping you feel inspired! Thats amazing, I should try to get my hands on one of those books! I do plan on using paper patterns at some point! My mom gave me a box of her old sewing patterns, so it’d be really fun to try to make something using one of those! Thanks so much for watching! Hoping to have time to post new videos more often starting in fall when my daughter goes back to school! 🤞🏼
Wow I love your style and your choices of sewing patterns, saved almost all of them ! And btw you are so absolutely gorgeous girl in case no one told you today ❤
I was absolutely loving the knitted jumper you wore - any chance that was knitted from a pattern you could share? Thanks for sharing your sewing journey, loved seeing all of your makes
Ah I wish I knew how to knit! It was thrifted and the brand is Lou & Grey, so probably from Loft originally. I fully plan on giving knitting a try at some point. I just don’t know if I have the patience for it! Thanks for watching!
Oh my! I just found this channel during my holidays and my mind is blowing with a lot of ideas when coming back home 😂❤ my style and color palette are super similar to yours and I have a 2yo baby so I would copy some of your sewing both for me and my little one 😍 thanks for sharing, looking forward for the next video 😉😘
OMG so many things ! amazing ! It's so inspiring ! To me, the summer version of the flannel shirt together with the white tank top were the most wow ! 😍😍😍
Just found your channel and I must say, that I admire your productivity. As a long time sewer/upcycler I'm so happy to see that you use a variety of differently sourced fabrics. Personally my current fabric obsession is collecting vintage bedding. The colors make me so happy! :-D On another not - rayon isn't actually classed a synthetic. It's made from regenerated wooden fibres. :-)
Thanks so much! Oh vintage bedding, how fun!! I bet you find the best prints! So good to know about rayon! It does have that cool to the touch feeling, so I've always thought it was synthetic!
Yippie! I'm sooooo excited for this video! I'll snuggle up in bed with a good pizza and watch! I'm also a soft autumn and I think we have very similar taste, so I have never seen anything that you made that I didn't love so I'm sooooo excited 😊😊😊😊
Thank you!! I feel like I’m still sort of in the process of figuring it out, but maybe someday I will!! I love using knits, but they can be really tricky!
It all looks so good! And I love hearing your thoughts about what went well and what could have been better, very helpful to see. Also on the topic of the rose café bustier, I have a very small chest as well, and I don't know if you tried to make it before it was updated or not, but it has interchangable cup sizes now, and if you go off the measurements in there (instead of your normal cup size), it might work! Mine still had a tiny bit of gaping around the armpit, but I just took that in a little and now it's perfect.
Thank you so much!! Ah I should try again! I think there were different cup sizes when I initially tried it too, but I think I just went with my typical cup size. I'll have to measure!! Thanks for the heads up!
This was epic and so fun to watch! It must have taken you forever to film and edit. Awesome job. I love your style so much that watching this, I have to keep reminding myself that most of the things you make that look so perfect on you would not suit me at all (I'm a Soft Dramatic in Kibbe). So I can just admire the fantastic wardrobe you're creating without being tempted to add even more things to my ridiculously long to-sew list. Looking forward to seeing what you make next (including the shower curtain trousers). I love that you were envious of your bath's outfit whenever you went to the loo 😄
Yay, I’m so happy you enjoyed! It did take me SO long, but these videos are fun to make too! I love that! I feel like having a better understanding of my body type makes shopping so much easier in that same way. Haha Maybe I’ll make a video of the shower curtain transformation too. 😂
Thanks so much! My grandma taught me how to use a sewing machine when I was 8, but I didn't do much sewing until about 2 years ago, which I guess kind of makes me a beginner too! I watched a lot of videos on youtube, instagram, and tiktok, and started following patterns with good instructions to learn! I learn best by doing, so that's what's worked for me! There are so many wonderful tutorials out there too! I have a Q&A video where I share all the equipment and tools I have, as well as some of my favorite sewing youtubers you could check out too!
Love the Halloween costume! I think that one of the best perks of being a "maker" is that I can make any Halloween costume idea come to life. My Mom did that for me and it is one of my best joys to do for my son.
Thank you!! 💕 They’re the marine straight pants from Zara. I bought my white ones in store, but I have an orange pair and a tan pair that I thrifted! Love them!
Love the light colored flannel fabric that you are wearing at the end. Do you have any idea where you got it or who it’s by? It looked like Robert Kaufman to me but not sure. Thank you.
Really a very first-rate try-on/what I made video. I found your channel with the last one you filmed, and I enjoyed it. Nice collection of very well-made patterns in pretty fabrics. 😊 Also recognized a few fabrics from Joann (I'm a manager at one) - specifically that autumnal splotchy super silky viscose you sewed the mini gathered skirt and top in. I remember seeing it the fabric when it came in, got my standard 3 yards, but ended up returning it because I started to doubt the effectiveness of the hues on my complexion, lol (caramel-colored skin, black hair). But it is so perfect on you! 😊 Have no idea what season I am (burgundy is my absolute favorite color but not certain I look great in it, lol)... it must be useful to know! 😃
Thank you so much!! Oh yes, I’m sure you recognized quite a few! I LOVE that viscose fabric. I still don’t think I’m entirely certain of my color season, but it’s been so helpful to have a general idea of what suits me and what doesn’t! Fortunately, makeup has the ability to help us all become chameleons. Makes wearing my worst colors easier! Haha
Thank you! It's one of my favorite sewing patterns ever! I've searched for the perfect oversized flannel forever, so I was pumped to find a way to make them myself! Thanks for watching! 💕
I would love it if you made a video exclusively for all the clothes you made and planning to make for your daughter! I have a 18 month old little girl, and would love to know more about where you get inspiration from :)
I just posted a video about making my daughter some back to school clothes! Since shes 4, I’m still using toddler patterns for her, so you may see one you like! Thanks for watching! 💕
Love your makes and great job! I just wanted to mention that the sea green dress probably needed to be hung overnight before finishing. I think you said it was cut on the bias which means it stretches (and probably unevenly). I haven’t seen anyone hang a whole piece of fabric but maybe this is what was needed because the bust area also had some uneven areas? Thank you for sharing your makes!!
Thank you!! And yes, for sure! Unfortunately I didn’t even get that far. 😂 I forgot to mention in the video that I didn’t even end up hemming it because the fit was so wrong! Haha I’ll probably try to make some little adjustments in the hips and redo the top to see if it can work as a dress before just scrapping the top and making a skirt! We’ll see! Thanks for watching!
I would love for you to take us along with you fabric shopping on the west coast. I know in Santa Cruz there is Harts and Stone mountain and daughter but I never went to San Francisco fabric shopping. I was born in Santa Cruz and then lived in Sacramento u til 18 years ago when we moved to the south.
Oh that sounds fun! I still haven’t made it down to Santa Cruz since moving here, but I’d really like to soon. I’ll have to check out those shops! I’m still figuring out the places to shop here in sf, and I’m sure there are so many gems!
Sewing is very therapeutic, but I'm amazed at how you find time to fit it in. Where there is a will, there is a way (I guess). I am relatively new to sewing and I think I have fear of failure so I have trouble getting started sewing; although I'm really good at watching sewing videos. I'm 70, Any advice for me?
It is super tricky at times, but it really does bring me joy, so it’s worth it! I’m a stay at home mom, so I’m lucky to have the flexibility to find pockets of time throughout the week! I guess my advice would be to start out choosing projects that are relatively simple, but you’re excited about, and to take your time and try to enjoy the process! Once I was comfortable with my machine and following really simple patterns, I started taking on projects that seemed just a little out of my skill level and that’s how I’ve gone about learning new things! It doesn’t always turn out great the first time, and that’s ok! I hope you end up loving it!
My favorite piece is the dress you sewed twice. I think it’s not in this video but in that from last year. (You see I watch your videos more than once🙈). I mean the dress you sewed first in red quilting cotton and then with a grey/white fabric, which you like more than the first version. But you said the instructions are more on the bad side as it doesn’t give much information 😢, no pictures or explanation.😣😣. I will nevertheless buy the instruction (in case I find it), but I have to have much much more practice before I can even try to sew it… I would like to sew almost all the things you sewed. You meet exactly my taste🥰. But where I live you need more winter clothes🥶AND I am too old for most things. But I would like to sew some for my daughter, who is 30. and -thanks God- there are also some warmer shirts which are also awesome. You seem to be a natural sewing queen; every piece looks so perfectly done. And I love watching and listening to you. You are not only beautiful but also so (… uff, I don’t know the English word…) … kind (no, that’s not a nice word which means what I want to say. But maybe you know what I want to say🙏).your videos are just amazing. Thanks for sharing them with us! I am looking forward to watching much more. Otherwise I can speak the existing ones with you😉…. Many many greetings and adoration from Europe…💕, also to your husband and your daughter. Enjoy your life in San Francisco and stay safe.💕💕💕
Thank you! I think you’re referring to the white top I’m wearing in my intro, which is the top half of the Dream Frock by Lydia Naomi! Instead of doing puff sleeves, I just did long bias tape straps that attach around the arm holes and tie at the shoulders. Thanks so much!
You asked for an opinion on dying the white linen pants, and suggested some green or teal yourself. I'd suggest chocolate brown, because I think it would fit very well into your existing colour palette. A reddish-orange could also fit in with some of the accents you've been using. The green/teal could be nice, but I think you'll have more fun with a dark brown.
Thank you!! I always sew one side of the bias tape onto the wrong side of the fabric along the bias tape’s folded edge before I fold it over to the right side and top stitch. I think that’s how most people do it, but I don’t think I have any other tricks!
Hi Rachel, I discovered your channel recently and absolutely love it! I've been ceative my entire life but just recently started making my own clothes (only made 3 garments up until now), your videos are really inspring and make me want to create an entire wardrobe :). I've been looking at getting a serger (we call them overlockers in the UK) and was wondering, when did you decide to get one in your sewing journey? They seem very useful and one of my next projects I'd like to make is the Monroe turtle neck pattern which might need a serger? Anyway, thank you for creating these videos!
Thank you so much!! It makes me so happy to hear my videos are inspiring you! Sewing is such a rewarding hobby. You get to learn how to make things AND you get to wear cute new clothes all the time?! I hope you end up loving it! I feel like you can get pretty far without a serger, but I started to really want one once I started making clothes I reached for all the time. I feel like my clothes hold up better in the wash when the edges are serged, and I don’t get loose unraveling strings anymore! A serger is magic for knits too, so once I got more comfortable using them, a serger was the cherry on top. You could definitely do the Monroe turtleneck with a standard sewing machine as long as you use a zigzag stitch! I primarily use my serger to just finish edges, and even use my standard sewing machine first on most knits as well. I’ve heard a walking foot helps while using knits on a standard machine to feed fabric through similar to a serger. I need to get one! Thanks so much for watching!
I love your video. It motivated me to start sewing again. Somehow I'm afraid that it turns out wrong or doesn't fit my body. Could you tell what fabric you chose for the sommar camisol tank? I just didn't understand it.
Thanks so much! Yeah, that’s always the risk we take with sewing. Spending all those hours making something that we could potentially hate! Haha It’s so worth it though when things turn out the way we want them to! The sommar tanks are made out of brushed jersey I got from Joann’s! It’s super soft and they carry it in so many different solid colors and patterns!
Lovely pieces, i must say that the boxy shirt has a mayor issue on the backside of the collar…it gapes to the back…so the height of isn’t in proportion.
Thank you!! And yes, I totally know what you’re referring to! I think it’s because I had it tucked in in the front and had too many buttons undone, so the collar hung back off my shoulders instead of staying situated on top of them. I tend to wear my oversized button ups like that because I sort of like the laid back ~vibe~ if that makes sense?? I know it’s not how most people like to wear their button ups, but it’s just a silly little thing I do. Haha
Thank you!! I just used a brushed jersey from Joann’s for these ones, but they’d probably work great in an athletic fabric too! I definitely wear mine for working out and climbing as is though. Thanks for watching! ☺️
Thanks so much!! ☺️ My mother in law swears by 409. Haha I tried it, and it’s worked a little bit, but I think it’s just always been kind of a matter of wearing and washing it over and over again until it disappears. Haha I wish I had more advice!
I do a fair amount of shopping at Joann’s for certain things, but always love finding local discount fabric stores to shop as well! They always have new and different things, and it’s kind of like a treasure hunt! Thrifting is also magical for finding really nice fabric for cheap too. I haven’t done much online fabric shopping, but I know there are so many stores people really love. Someday I’ll have to give it a try!
I think it would! I love layering everything though! It may also be pretty easy to adjust the scoop on the back too, but you may end up needing a zipper to get into it.

Ah thanks so much, you’re so kind!
I hope you end up with a bunch of pieces you love!
Great work! Love that you are willing to show us pieces that you are not 💯% happy about. We are making mistakes too and we are learning from others😅
Thanks so much!!
I feel like I’m constantly learning from my mistakes, so it’s fun to share! 💕☺️
That sleeveless milkmaid is to die for. Good job with the alterations. Definitely my pick for a dress!
Thank you!! I love the versatility of that one too. I’ve worn that top a lot more than the puff sleeve one already!
For just your second year, you really sew your garments beautifully. I loved all of your garments.
You're so kind, thank you!!💕

Your daughter has great fabric sense! She knows her style. 💟
She sure does! She's determined to dress herself everyday now and it's so fun to see what she chooses!
I'll pass on the compliment! 💕
Just sitting here clicking "add to cart" repeatedly. Fantastic makes and editing!
Ah exciting!! Which ones are you planning on making?!
Also, thanks so much! ☺️
Haha
Thanks for watching! ☺️
As always, loved this video and seeing you talk about fabrics and why you did certain things, chose specific fabrics. You have such an eye! Thank you for sharing with us, I always feel so inspired after watching your videos 😊
Thanks so much! It makes me so happy to hear I’ve inspired you! ☺️
This was so much fun and very inspiring to watch! I'm on my second re-watch 😍
Oh thank you!! I’m always afraid these videos are too long, so it’s comforting to hear you’re up for a second watch!! 😂
Wonderful makes! and you have a lovely style that really suits you
Beautiful fabrics, designs and creativity- just gorgeous. You look amazing in all the pieces you have sewn so exquisitely. Super well done ❤
You’re so kind, thank you!! ☺️💕
Loved your first year of sewing video! You really impressed me with what you achieved! Looking forward to your second year!
Thank you so much!! These videos take forever to make, but they’re fun for me too!! ☺️
Thanks for watching!! 💕
Try the clear snaps to hold your wrap dress together on the top on your first green dress. Love your sewing and fabric.
Oh thats a great idea! Thanks so much!
All your makes were absolutely gorgeous and beautifully sewn up! Very inspiring 🥰 thanks for sharing x
Love how you choose fabric types and prints to be so cohesive with the patterns you do! Every item looks so good! Especially loved the flannels
Thank you so much!! The flannels are some of my favorites too!
So excited for this!
Yay!! ☺️
The banana bag is my favorite bag ever! I hope you love yours too!
That is a LOT of sewing - well done! Loved them all and it was fun seeing all the makes for yourself and your mini-me. Cheers!
Thanks so much!! 💕
I loved seeing all of these!!! That Milkmaid top is adorable and Im obsessed with that linen set for your daughter as well as her pocket pants🥹 I can’t wait to make clothes for my kids one day! So special
Thanks so much! Ah the milkmaid top is one of my favorites!!
Making clothes for my daughter is one of my favorite things about sewing!
love how versatile your makes are, even bags tooo!!
Thank you!!
Probably fabric shopping one of these days! haha
Do you have any favorite fabric stores in the area? I'm still on the hunt, especially since Fabric Outlet in Mission closed!
I loved this video so much! Especially how you talked through your decisions on fabric type and the drape you were going for.
As for the linen peter pants, you should definitely dye them a chartreuse green
Thank you! Choosing fabric is one of my favorite parts of sewing! I feel like I'm finally gaining a decent understanding about how different types of fibers behave, and it's been really fun!
And yes, I like your thinking! I keep talking myself into something more neutral, but I can just dye them green and pair them with neutrals!
Great stuff, I loved it all. They looked store bought and they fit you really well.
Thank you!! It’s one of my favorite colors ever! That’s a great idea! It would be so pretty as a midi skirt with a sweater for the holidays too!
Your milkmaid tops are very well made and they are an excellent fit. You have done great work.
Thanks so much!!
Beautiful makes and your daughter has great taste in fabrics selection 👌🏾
Thanks so much! I’ll pass on the compliment too! ☺️💕
You are sew talented!! Love all of your makes and you look gorgeous in all of them. Hope you're having a great week.
Thank you so much!! 😊
Thanks so much for watching, and I hope you're having a nice week too!
I love your videos, thanks for sharing! So many peace’s to recreate ❤❤
Thanks so much! ☺️
I’m so happy to hear I gave you some ideas! So many of the patterns I use are great for beginners, and I’m sure you’ll end up with a bunch of pieces you love in no time! Good luck and have so much fun!
You’re really good! These are awesome
Thanks so much! 😊
To get oil stains out, rub dish soap into the stain, then wash as normal.
My favorite thing you made were the low back dresses so pretty 😊
So amazing!! You have a beautiful sense of style and you do excellent sewing! Everything looks so professional!
Thanks so much!! 💕
12:45 you could use a hook and eye closure in the front to keep it from gaping open! I had a similar issue with mood fabrics foxglove bodysuit and that was my fix! This dress is gorgeous!
Ohhh smart! Thank you!
I loved watching this and I love your style!
Thank you so much!! 🥰
I'm watching you from France and I have to say it's very inspiring. That's a lot of work in just one year!
Thank you so much! Yes, tons of work, but so rewarding!
this was fun to watch and get ideas and nice to see how you used the fabric. do you have a video showing how to do lettuce hem? also a video how you cut the fabric to match the patterns like the stripes, plaids? and can you show how to make your daughters leggings, so fun! i want to try and make my daughter some but haven't sewed pants before
This is SO INSPIRING!!!! Seriously, amazing work! Wow. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thanks so much!! So happy to hear it inspired you! ☺️
You’re such a great sewer!! Love ur fabrics u pick. I’m just learning to sew ….
Thank you!! I’m still learning new stuff every time too! I hope you love it!
Wow I love your style and your choices of sewing patterns, saved almost all of them !
And btw you are so absolutely gorgeous girl in case no one told you today ❤
Ah you’re so sweet, thank you!! 🥲💕
Loved this video, so many cute pieces! Gave me some ideas of what to make next 😊
Thanks so much! Happy to hear my video has inspired some projects for you! 😊
So inspiring. Love seeing all your makes.
Thanks so much!!
Woud love a video on choosing fabric for projects.
Oh that's a good idea! I feel like I'm still figuring it out myself, but it's definitely one of my favorite parts of making my own clothes!
Great ideas, thanks!
Thank you!! 💕
Im so impressed with everything! Your style and your skills are just amazing. Go you!! 🤩
Thank you!! ✨💕
Enjoying this video so much! You have made so many beautiful things! You also have great taste 😍
You’re so sweet, thank you!! ☺️
Good sewing! I like how you incorporate your autumn season so well🌻.
Thanks so much!! ☺️🍁
Yay! I’m so happy to hear that!! These kids are so lucky!
Thanks for watching! 💕✨
Loved this video - you're such a talented sewer! Everything looked beautiful on you :) Also, your daughter has amazing fabric taste!
Thank you so much! 💕
OMG so many things ! amazing ! It's so inspiring ! To me, the summer version of the flannel shirt together with the white tank top were the most wow ! 😍😍😍
Thank you!! I wear that combo so often! So easy and cozy!
Ah yay!! I was worried this video was TOO long, but your plan sounds perfect! Haha
Thanks so much! ☺️
Wow! What an amazing collection of pieces!
Can you make a video about how you learned to use knit fabrics? I have heard it’s much harder than woven!
I think my favorite thing you made is the white linen milk maid top. So cute.
Thanks so much! 🥰
Haha
Maybe I’ll make a video of the shower curtain transformation too. 😂
On the atlas dress you could always add a little snap to help with it gaping open. The style looks so pretty on you.
Oh that's a great idea! Thanks!!
I can’t wait to start creating clothing for myself that I love 🤍 Thankyou for making these videos they are inspiring
It really is the best! Excited for you to start too! Thanks so much for watching! 💕
This is amazing, well done! How did you learn sewing? Any tips for complete beginners?
Thank you! It’s so fun for me too, since my grandma used to do the same for me!! We were lucky kids and now our kids get to be lucky too! ☺️
I am so in love with your style. Where did you get your white pants from?
Thank you!! 💕
They’re the marine straight pants from Zara.
Also recognized a few fabrics from Joann (I'm a manager at one) - specifically that autumnal splotchy super silky viscose you sewed the mini gathered skirt and top in.
Haha
Your flannels 😍😍😍😍
At 1.18 is very pretty. All the clothing is very nice ❤
Thank you!!
Woow you have made a lot of realy nice clothes. Very inspiring 🤩🤩🤩
Thank you so much!!
You've actually influenced me to make the Kate tank top and I loooove to wear them at the gym :D
Ah the Kate tank! That makes me so happy! I’m actually wearing my black one as we speak! ☺️
Haha
I’ll probably try to make some little adjustments in the hips and redo the top to see if it can work as a dress before just scrapping the top and making a skirt! We’ll see!
Thanks for watching!
I love your style!
Thank you!! ☺️💕
I will nevertheless buy the instruction (in case I find it), but I have to have much much more practice before I can even try to sew it…
I would like to sew almost all the things you sewed.
Great job!! 👏🏻
Thanks!! ☺️
This shirts looks amazing! What patern is that?
Thank you! I think you’re referring to the white top I’m wearing in my intro, which is the top half of the Dream Frock by Lydia Naomi! Instead of doing puff sleeves, I just did long bias tape straps that attach around the arm holes and tie at the shoulders. Thanks so much!
I am obsessed with the oversized button down shirt. Where did you find the fabric for the summery one (the last one you shared)?
Thank you!!
There’s a discount fabric store in the mission district here in SF called Fabric Outlet. I always find WAAAAY to much good stuff there!
Great point!! I have a couple pairs of rusty orange bottoms too, so it sounds like you know my style! Haha
Thanks for the idea!
How do you make a bias binding SO clean? 🤯 Any tricks to share? 😊
@@madewithrach Thank you so much for your reply, really appreciate that, and thank you for the advise 😊
Haha
What fabric did you use for the camis? I loveeee them been looking to my some gym tops!
Thank you!! I just used a brushed jersey from Joann’s for these ones, but they’d probably work great in an athletic fabric too! I definitely wear mine for working out and climbing as is though.
Thanks for watching! ☺️
Have you looked at wawak for the hardware for your bags?
Oh they do have some D rings that look similar! Thank you!!
I love all your makes! They look so pro~ How did you manage to get oil out? That is my worst nemesis. 😆
Thanks so much!! ☺️
My mother in law swears by 409. Haha
I tried it, and it’s worked a little bit, but I think it’s just always been kind of a matter of wearing and washing it over and over again until it disappears. Haha
I wish I had more advice!
You have a beautiful wardrobe
Thank you!! 💕
Could you add a peplum/ruffle to the unicorn top?
Oh thats a fun idea! If i took the ribbing off the bottom, I probably could!
Made for Mermaids has a free leggings pattern for kids. Its called Bonny and I use it allllll the time for my daughter!
Tips on where to buy fabric? I started sewing this year and Joann’s isn’t the best
If we don't want to show our back would the hallon dress look good with a tee shirt?
I think it would! I love layering everything though! It may also be pretty easy to adjust the scoop on the back too, but you may end up needing a zipper to get into it.
Brass hardware: look at leather stores! They have tons of hardware & brass is a very common colour they carry
Thank you!! I’m sure there are some good ones here I haven’t found yet! Good idea!
