Wrong premise. Elon Musk can not "leak" the design. He can only publish it. "Leak" assumes somebody making something public unofficially (behind the back of official sources). :)
I'm a Model 3 owner and now a Tesla customer for life. My next Tesla will be the upgraded Model Y. However, the forthcoming, smaller, Model 2 will definitely be of interest to friends and family members. I'm hoping it won't be as close to the ground as the Model 3, in fact, it would be wonderful if it were as high as the Y. As for the winged doors, that would be amazing! A complete game-changer at that price point, and I agree with Musk, that it'll lead the sub$40k category for a very long time. Leave the tiny, junky, not-very-safe, sub-$20k cars to BYD. :)
9:40 That's BS. New car's in germany don't have to have at least five seats. But you are not allowed to transport more people than there are seats (and seat belts).
We'll just have to wait and see what the final design looks like...
Yeah, but what do you think if M2 appears with this design, falcon wings?
It would add complexity and cost... but, it would be a neat idea...@@TeslaCarWorld
A3door with a boot is simply a good design with side door that open up like an eagle wing will be well received by all enthusiasts......
I’d rather have A hatchback than five seats. If it was a hatch at that price I’d get one
Just buy another brand of car. For a quarter of the price of an average Tesla, you can get an intelligently designed, properly engineered car that has both a hatchback, and 5 seats. It will also cost ten times less to insure, half as much to run, and retain more than 20% of it's value over a 3 year period. And as an added bonus, it won't make you look like a gullible fool, or catch fire whilst you're trapped inside it, unable to get out because the electric door opener doesn't work when the traction battery is in thermal runaway.
@@matthewgodwin3050 look I’m not the biggest EV fan but the only one looking like a fool here is you. They’re less likely to catch on fire. For 25k - a 7k tax rebate what new car would be cheaper to buy? Also EVs are significantly cheaper to run per mile so what exactly are you referring to? I don’t want or care about 5 seats. I want a cheap running hatch back that’s efficient as a daily driver
@@turnerables . Petrol and diesel cars don't spontaneously combust, and 65% of all vehicle fires are arson. Do some actual research, and look at fires caused by Internal failure. EVs are far more likely to catch fire. Tesla Model 3 costs £60k, whereas a petrol equivalent is £15k. Check out the collaboration between Geoff Buys Cars and The Macmaster. They drove a Porsche Taycan and BMW 3 Series diesel from John O'Groats to Lands End. BMW used £120 worth of diesel, and the Taycan used £260 worth of electricity. You're the fool dick head, not me.
I cancel my order tesla model x when I saw this issue so weird no spare tire don’t have it many car have that spare tire
Personally, looking into my retirement in 2 years & considering an EV that will bring me to Point A to Point B & a bit of long range trips on weekends, Model 2 would be a perfect for me … not to
mention the younger generations of professionals too who looks for practicality @ the US$D price range level
Being from Ontario Canada, I’m sure with the exchange rate .. the US$D price tag of $25k will become $35k (@1.40 est) in canadian currency which im hoping that M2 will offer all the features that they have in M3 or or a mix feaures…
Range i can settle for a 250 mile
Storage … I don’t mind if i have a storage that will fit in only 1 luggage or being a part time wheelchair user is enough
Safety features -is a big one for me & occasional auto mode use feature is perfect for me & my wife
With the weather we have… definitely a 4WD drive is a need which might bring the price range more into a$40k Canadian…
Then my alternative might be a 2 year old M3 which might be in the $40-45k …
Hoping that govt credits & Tesla credits will still be available when M2 comes into a reality
here in Ontario Canada🙏
Meantime … I’ll join the wait & see journey
I’m from Ontario Canada as well & Im in the same mindset as you are ! Can’t wait to see the real M2 here in Canada ! In fact I’m a few minutes away from the biggest dealership of Tesla that will be opening hopefully by the fall season here in Hamilton Ontario 🤗🙏👍
It will be slower than 3 or Y and range will be around 200 miles. Autopilot will not be included nor paint. It will only come in rear wheel drive.
The tyres are said to last 8000 to 10000 k's on an EV. The cars should come with Tesla Tyres that last a lot longer than them figures.
I give a 50% chance this will be a 2-seater, not 4 seats. Any suggestion that it will be 5-seat is unrealistic. 5 seats required in Europe? Does that mean 2-seat sports cars are illegal?
When will the roadster finally come out
Too expensive!!
Judging by Elon Musk's track record, the Tesla Roadster will never come to fruition. He is the absolute master of empty promises. Try the new MG sports car instead. It's name eludes me, and I really couldn't be arsed to look it up, but it's currently in development and working prototypes are being tested on UK roads as we speak. It's better looking than any Tesla, it will be better built than any Tesla, and it will be a whole lot less fire prone than any Tesla.
i think tesla semi and model 2 are the catalyst for the next bull run.
Luv it cant wait till its realeased
If Elon held a promotion on a new car, I don’t understand why it was called leaked. To much drama here. Just say it as it was. Kiwi
A gull-wing only model 2 will no doubt preclude people who park in a garage from buying one.
I want 1!!!! go Model 2
Three things dude; Why do you use 5 exclamation marks, when one would suffice? And why didn't you use a capital letter or full stop? Also, why do you want something that currently, doesn't exist, and by Elon's track record, probably never will? Just buy something else.
Elon Musk ruled out 3 wheel trike, can´t make it safe- So that´s off the table. 2 door 2 seater, this car will be the robotaxi. Do you ever see a 2 door 2 seater taxi, nope so thats off the table. Falcon wing doors, no chance just adds to the cost and if you are going HFS you are limited in what shapes you can make. 9,000 casting of whole base of car, then no open box production line. Why 24V system you have spent years sorting out the 48V system with ethernet bus and doing steer by wire and brake by wire and you have the low weight low cost wiring system and you have the suppliers on board. Model 2 needs the 48V and all the rest to again use the open box production methodology.
The designers in one interview said that paint is expensive and makes it all more complex. Musk wants to have a CT type look. I think theyll use 6,000 tonne gigacasts for front and rear. A structural 46:80 battery pack. I see a junior CT but no rear bed, a VW type golf rear end with a hatch back door. The structural interior side panels alluminium pressed panels The exterior 1.4 HFS and lots of glass. front and side panels smaller versions of CT. I don´t think you need rear wheel steer.
Sell base model at $27,500, 2 motor AWD higher price and sell a 3 engine performance (remember hot hatch), won´t sell many but some will sell. Current sales of CT are having a lot of them wrapped so make that an option or offer a paint job as an option with 3 basic colours, one of which is free and change the free colour every 6 months. You need a minimum 250 miles range.
Robotaxis will take the base model, base colour and no extras. It´s just a taxi. You´ll also sell cars with steering wheel and pedals via a deal with Uber. So a taxi not a robotaxi. Once you have 4 factories churning out 4m a year you start to add a 2 door van version and maybe a longer wheel base model, to create a bigger transit type van.
Call the 5-door sedan Model 2; the 3-door gull-winged hatchback Model 2X. Both should be embraced by the car market tremendously if the price is around US$25,000 !
4door hatch 5seater 48 volt steer and brake by wire, def not 2 door 2 seater is a non starter. Robotaxi same. Wrong data on cybertruck thickness of hfs, poor reporting
Cybertruck uses 1.8mm thick SS on the doors and 1.4mm on the rest of the car.
Wing doors will not suit many who want a small car as often garage space is a limiting factor!
Standardize the whole product line at 48 volts. That would give a the least expense of all of the electrical components by increasing quantity discounts in design and production,
No, this model has to have a backseat for children, this model has to be affordable by families with children and have 4 doors.
Anything else is some boy dream fantasy of a small sports car. This was so dumb.
Re FSD V12 being non beta: I believe it will be initially released as a beta version, but some point release like V12.4 or V12.7 will be the non-beta version.
fake headline and pic,, Blah blah blah about nothing to do with the headline. little league move
Its good design. I agree.
Do you like Falcon wings?
@@TeslaCarWorld You have to show me more about it. I don't know anything about it.
Like it 👍
Thank you! What do you think about falcon wings if Tesla really make it?
it seems the 2 and the taxi lline needs to have 4 doors
going to have to call x
1/3 x
The cybertruck dosn't use 3mm HFS. It uses 1.4mm for everything but the doors that 1.8mm.
Initial size before machining is 3mm and after machining is 1.4mm and 1.8mm depending on the part!! Sr if we don’t talk clearly !!
Tesla needs to think utility rather than style. A common skateboard lower unit with upper portion that can be robotaxi, box truck, bus or general commute vehicle. For all it should be drive by wire, brake by wire, throttle by wire. It should be easily configurable as left hand or righthand drive. Accommodate an Optimus robot for delivery purposes as well as passenger assistance. The chassis should shorten or lengthen depending on use purpose.
DOJO RAMP TO OUT PERFORM 300,000 NVIDIA SHOULD IMPROVE FSD
So…no new information. Ok.
If its true, a lot people could buy with 25k
Yeah, M2 will win Model Y to get the best EV on the world!! What do you think about Falcon Wings?
48 volt electrical system.
Maybe it will make M2 stronger and more expensive, 48v is high tech !! What do you think about Falcon Wings?
Yeah Sir it's amazing design
What do you think about the falcon wings if Tesla really do this?
Why do all Tesla fanboys seem to have so much antipathy towards the proper use of grammar, spelling, and punctuation marks? You should have written "Yes sir. It's an amazing design."
To which anyone with functional eyes would reply, "No sir. It most definitely is not."
@@matthewgodwin3050 i don't even bother to respond you
@@sjhaji You just have done dude, and you've made a complete pig's ear of it. Your sentence should have read, I think, as follows; "I'm not even going to bother responding to you." Where did you go to school dude? Because your use of grammar is appalling.

😁👍
Yeah Sir
Be safe !! Have a nice day!
speriamo esca prima possibile questa tesla 2 ormai troppi annunci e mai una data certa,se non si muove Musk rischia che gli altri modelli gli passi davanti prima uscirà e prima sbaraglierà tutti gli altri già usciti su questo segmento
another bullshit car design bot
I love it. Please ÂSAP
You want a hatchback or something else??
If he makes this model 2 it will fail because the chevy bolt euv will be back in 25 and it seats 5 and has storage and keeps the price down and gets 260 miles and it will charge faster too
if tesla make a model 2 dont worrie musk will kill the competition
@@aladdin8372 not with this configuration he won't , he will be making a 2 seater that offers horrible range not storage and no room for 5 people it will bomb
@@joannbarna8235 ? Have you been in a conference call with Elon during the Q3 shareholder meeting? We asked him about the style of the M2, and he mentioned that it's designed for a normal family that doesn't want a powerful car but a practical and useful one. Watch the shareholder meeting please.
That’s some funny copium! Hahahaha!😂 will keep me laughing all day.
You really, actually believe that GM can deliver something better? - after repeated failures on batteries, delayed models etc ???? You must live in a parallel universe.
❤Will purchase model 2 if it has X falcon wings🪽 , 300 mile range, AWD.
I don’t think Elon musk put spare tire 🛞 on car and I saw my friends receive car 2023 and bad quality tire when I saw tire low winds so fast I have some photo and he’s show me so weird and terrible :( Elon musk fix this issue from ur car if u see this comment #elon musk
Tesla is missing a station wagon. Some of us cannot stand clumsy SUVs that do not provide more space only bulk and useless features.
