Yes, its player numbers on PC are off the charts due to a recent influx of players after a sale on steam, and as a PS player I can confirm it’s very active there as well, even in more obscure modes like outpost

That’s not a general rule. Console players can be just as good or bad as PC players. You see the same thing happening on PC these days because there’s been a spike in new players lately.
