Would have loved a video of one of those enormous fireplaces with a roaring fire, otherwise stunning we were there during a late July heatwave this past summer.
Thank you for your video of Lake Louise in winter! Gorgeous! I first visited Banff, Lake Louise and Moraine Lake in 1968. We camped at Moraine Lake in the summer and would go to Lake Louise in the evening for a free piano concert in the main lobby. There was a wonderful pianist who entertained us. I specifically remember “The Flight of the Bumblebees” that he played so well! Lake Louise had a beautiful garden facing the lake full of 6 foot delphiniums that were so impressive. Even with all of the grandeur of the lake and the Fairmont, my heart lies in Moraine Lake and its valley of the ten peaks! Whenever I need a place of peace to restore my soul, my mind goes there. We camped there many times and I used to climb up on the moraine to stare at the peacock blue lake for hours. The chipmunks and pikas would scamper around me and if I sat very still, a chipmunk would even climb up on me to get a better look! As I sat there in the warm summer sun, I could feel the mist from the snow being blown off the glacier peaks hitting my face! I and my family would fish the lake for the best trout I ever had! When we would hike the trails, we’d find wild strawberries and buffalo berries and add them to our trout campfire dinners. It was pure Heaven on Earth! My heart lives there. I’m 70 years old now and it was just a moment ago, when I remember it. I can still feel the snow mist.
Thank you for sharing your amazing story. The area is a bit different now with more restrictions - but it is definitely one of the most beautiful places on this planet. Your story make me realize again - how fast time flies and how much we should value those precious moments in our life. Wish you all the best!
my favorite channel. I',m korean. It's a pleasure of the day for me and my dad to watch this channel. My dad likes snowfall. I've been waiting for your snowy video. Thank you for the beautiful video :)
What more words can be said about a beautiful place called Lake Louise. Lived in Banff in the early 70’s, the Chateau used to be closed in winter, thank goodness someone had the foresight to open it up all year round so it can be enjoyed 12months of the year.
I'm heading to Banff in 2 weeks, this vide gives me a great impression of what I can expect, and you have done a beautiful job showing off this awesome area :)
If you see this comment, I want to thank you for living with me on the same planet. You are not alone in this world. I hope this comment can make at least one person a little bit happy. This is all I want and wish good health to you
Thank you for watching. It is all part of Lake Louise and Fairmont Chateau Resort. There is a public parking near resort and you can walk this trail along Lake Louise
Please there's not that much snow I've seen the snow piled so you could not see the mountains. Of you crossed country if you tried to walk you would get stuck same as Roger's Pass you could not see the building and avalanches on both sides of the pass.
It is small town, might be just local pc fixing and support. For IT job - Toronto is #1 in Canada, all major financial, insurance, etc. companies are in Toronto. Vancouver probably a second, more for game developers
