I wish I could seen him I had just started playing guitar a year before that would have been cool for you to see him he died way too early and there's not much video
Christopher Michael Oliva (April 3, 1963 - October 17, 1993) was an American musician who was the lead guitarist and co-founder of the heavy metal band Savatage. During his lifetime, he released seven studio albums and one EP with the band. On October 17, 1993, at around 3:30 a.m., Oliva and his wife Dawn were driving north on Highway 301 on their way to the Fourth Annual Livestock Festival held in Zephyrhills, Florida, just north of Tampa. An oncoming car operated by a drunk driver crossed the median and struck Oliva's 1992 Mazda RX-7 head-on. Dawn survived the crash, but Oliva was killed instantly. The drunk driver, who had seven prior drunk driving (DUI) convictions, survived with minor injuries and was later found guilty of DUI manslaughter, DUI serious injury and vehicular homicide, and served 18 months in prison of a five-year sentence.
Just how many guitarists have been claimed to be the "best" of their generation? Hendrix, Clapton, Prince, S R Vaughn, Jimmy Page, Keith Richards......?! They were all great . Dont pick the best. P.S. B.B. King!
I was hoping you’d remember Cliff 💔and here he is, the very first one.Thank you so much for remembering him.

I saw Randy Rhoads last concert with Ozzy in Knoxville, Tennessee. He was killed the next day. I still have my ticket stub.
How fortunate you are to be able to have seen his last concert! I’m sure it was a banger!

What a loss for the music world. All were so talented and made their own mark. 🤘🤘
So very sad that these talented folks lights were extinguished so early in life. 🙏
So sad so many young people dying.
Randy Rhodes's Fluid/Classical Guitar Style was one of the Ages!
Poor Burtons... they had to bury both of their sons at a very young age. 😢
Nostalgie des souvenirs d'enfance. Des sitcom cultes qui on eu leur moment de gloire et de succès

Lucky for them. At least they're free.
Bolin and Kossoff and Allman 🙏🎸
Good video!
You see this with all kinds of stars. They just can't handle the conception of who they have become and resort to bad decisions.
🙏🤘burton and rhoads🤘🙏
Had Cliff and Kirk not switched places, KIRK would have died! Cliff sacrificed it all!
No he didn't he won that bunk and died tragically. in order to sacrifice anything he would have had to choose to die
What’s the song playing in the background?
