- Here is a conversation I had with David Bingham a week after my Self Realisation in Aug 2022
David had the week before helped me to see the final piece of the puzzle. Misidentification, his gentle pointing revealed I had identified with the person called Collette, rather than The awareness that had always been there.
For many years I followed the pointings of Mooji, Eckhart Tolle, and David Bingham as well as Self Enquiry particularly The Work by Byron Katie.

You’re absolutely right! Many teachers don’t speak about what their awakening felt like. I’ve recently found Helen Hamilton and she does describe what it was like and the process as she continues to awaken. I had the experience you’re speaking of in August and it lasted 2mos. I think it’s different for everyone and unfolds in a way that’s perfect for each of us .. even though we’re not really separated. 8 billion pieces of the one realizing we’re not separate at all. Thank you so much for sharing. It’s incredibly reaffirming and helpful. 🙏🏼

Thank you for sharing your own story & Reality & using the dreaded "I" word to tell it. It's sad that so many other teachers/speakers won't or are afraid to use the "I/me" words to talk about awakening/realty rather than the safer "you, we, they" words. I've been following the Tony Parsons version of nonduality but not finding my True Nature in that teaching. I also studied Eckhart Tolle, Ramana Maharshi, Nisargadatta, Mooji, Gangaji, Jean Klein, Rupert Spira and many others. Glad something led me to you............ 😃

Congratulations many of us are coming to this in our own time and place from lots of angels. You are talking about it to help others,we all need it but be careful and not be surprised that more isn't being asked by realisation as you go along. Never be afraid but courage is required. HI Collette, just saw this. One of the things you mentioned, the seeing of particular things so clearly, do you attribute it to any change in your ability to focus with out preconstructions. Sort of outside the fear of form that physical identity can seem to embrace. It's so amazing that we seem to just switch from the fullness of mental attachments to the spacious state of isness, being which when aware of the transition, can be seen as the experience of unity, wholeness. Hello, for me at the time of the interview, it felt as though some sort of friction had been removed. Now I would say that it’s just that you are not separated from anything so everything is immediate. The boundaries are removed. Everything is you. But not you, the person, you the spaciousness. You can feel everywhere at once. But also quite normal, whatever that is 🤣😊👍

@@collettewhiteman Yes, you said you were a Midlander. I was a brought up as a kid in the Stourbridge/Hagley area. A distance from Derby, but a Midlander of course. I lived in London for a while and abroad for around 7 years, but now I'm in the North West in a village near Nantwich.

What you describe at 14:40 is very close to how I experienced that transition from just being, as a young child, to "acquiring" or receiving a solid identity called Monique. From that moment (looking back at it now), I've always questioned that identity; this is not who I am; there is more to me than this etc. I've also often experienced the world or reality as something I'm not a part of or somewhere I do not belong if that makes sense? Thank you for sharing your journey!

Very interesting to hear about seeing more fine detail in things (approx. min. 23) - Would be interesting to know if a heightened sense of seeing colours is also sometimes/often experienced. The seeing of rainbow colours in a puddle with a few drops of petrol in it, those same rainbow colours in reflections of light from transparent plastics, etc...

No, I don’t think so, I haven’t listened to this since I posted it, maybe we refer to the telephone conversation I had with David the week before. Where the idea of a separate self was seen through.
I just don’t understand and can’t grasp it but really want to. I wish I could have a one on one discussion with DAVID.

.....if you want to know what's true awakening is ..simply pray Rosary beads (or on youtube) and forget everything else , submit yourself to God through Rosary and you will see the power and divinity like you have never seen before .

How do I function from my body of wisdom?
I’m so confused
The body of wisdom, is your intuition. The ‘knowing’ you don’t know why, you just know the right thing to do.
4:23 healing abilities how does this work for a person? realized or not
I haven’t done any healing since self realisation but I always felt that I wasn’t doing it anyway. The sense of Collette was absent. Now it makes sense. The idea of a me was an illusion. So knowing how to do acupressure without any training is now seen, that life was doing it all along.
what's the benefit of self realization ? no longer being triggered and having patterned bahavior ?

How can I get this??
If you have a drive to get this and are watching awakening videos then you are already on the path. It’s not something you get, it’s rather something you uncover. Something that has been there all along.
We become identified with the mind made self (the conditioning and habits we pick up throughout life) mainly as a child. Our natural awareness begins to go unnoticed as we get pulled into the dual aspect of life. We feel separate and all the feelings that go with that.
We experience life as a separate person and we naturally search for the wholeness again.
But we look outside of ourselves for fulfilment, eventually we seem to know this isn’t it. As outside things only give temporary satisfaction.
We see who we are in others (the light in someone’s eyes, light hearted laughter, their words seem to penetrate even if you don’t understand what they are saying and you have a ‘knowing’ that that’s what I’m looking for.
It’s to look within, to what has always been there, what has never changed in the ever changing. What’s been witnessing your entire life. The background of it all.
I hope this helps. Look for teachers or people who lwho share their experiences. Anyone who you resonate with. ( feel drawn to) x
