omg ! I was so stuck with the second squared in question #6, clearly i forgot chemistry math which u def helped .Overall , this video is so helpful especially to see what I know so far instead of tryg to understand from tedious practice test explanations.
For no. 12 the vertex formula is -b/2a and the midpoint of the two points is 7/2. Put this equal to the formula resulting in b=7a. So, a + b is really a-7a which is -6a. From there, equal that to all the answer choices to see which one results in a being an integer greater than one which is -12. Also, for 16, I kept getting 6000000 (6 million percent) when making b either 100 or 1. Can you please explain that?
@@elroietegete9732 u can use slider and the point of(c,-6) to find the line since slope is already given and find b then put b in second equation and find the slope using another value (d,-7)
Also for the first question. I've not seen any like it that you neccesarily have to read through the whole thing or calculate anything. There is only one option representing the marginal error

Given that c=0 , the equation becomes: 49a + 7b = 784 and remember -b/2a =7; b=-14a then 49a + 7(-14a) =784; 49a - 98a =784 so; a= -16 and also substitute in a and find b; which is 224 Finding the Height at t= 3 s Now that we have the full equation for the height: ax^2 + b(x) ; -16(3)^2 + 224(3) = 528 which is the answer. I hope this helps answer your question.

happy to see that!
I didn't take the August SAT but if what you predicted as you said in the other video really came out. I can't be more grateful man
yes they were. Good luck in your next one

wow man these questions seem brutal thank you! i will practice these now
#16 should be other way around. "if c is p% of B" means c weighs less than b. so we should divide by .0083/4.98
Thank you!
thanks for being your self
Really helpful video, thanks
please do the one for novmber

got all qsn right
can u explain q4 further? i really strugle with that concept. where do u recommend I study it?
you can ask this in community to get a video solution. I can't send it here

for the 11 no u can just use desmos and do regression to find out the answer
how do you define "c" when you plug it in the table.

can u find for o levels may june
i'm only specialised in SAT. I can't give advice on that.
20:52, what'll happen to the mean if a data is added which is neither lower than the minimum data or higher than the maximum data?
we can't know that, because we don't know the mean. If you add a data larger than mean the new mean will increase and vice versa...
how high are the chances of these type of questions coming?
These are some of the most important ones and are packed based on the previous exam patterns
in the last one i used regression and it didn't work, gave me wrong answer. why is that? can desmos give wrong answers?
Yea right? How do you put it in desmos??
Also for the first question. I've not seen any like it that you neccesarily have to read through the whole thing or calculate anything. There is only one option representing the marginal error
how would we know the question asks for a margin of error without reading? :)
can anyone explain 42:32... like how do we get the answer from 49a + 15 ???
The object was launched from a height of 0 feet, so c=0
The maximum height of 784 feet occurs at t=7seconds
The vertex of a parabola occurs at t= -b/2a
, and since the vertex corresponds to the maximum height, we can use this formula. We know the time of the maximum height is 7 seconds, so: -b/2a=7
We now have two pieces of information:
-b/2a=7, from the vertex formula,
The height at t= 7 is 784, so ;784=a(7)^2 + b(7) + c . Given that c=0 , the equation becomes:
49a + 7b = 784 and remember -b/2a =7; b=-14a then 49a + 7(-14a) =784; 49a - 98a =784
so; a= -16 and also substitute in a and find b; which is 224
Finding the Height at t= 3 s
Now that we have the full equation for the height:
ax^2 + b(x) ; -16(3)^2 + 224(3) = 528 which is the answer. I hope this helps answer your question.
Is there an essay section in digital sat exam?
