Hi, I went to the Maldives back in 1984 and again in 1985, I was there for about one month each time it was a paradise on earth, the Island I was on was named Bandos. when I watch and listen to this video it take's me back to that time, (I'm now 77 years old) when there was just a couple dozen huts on Bandos It was so unspoilt. So I thought I would find Bandos on Google earth, I couldn't believe the difference where as most of the Island when I was there was palms now the entire Island is covered in huts and buildings even out into the lagoon. I am so pleased that I saw it before it became so commercialized. After saying that It is still a beautiful place to spend your holliday's, I have been to many places but nothing in my mind compares to the beautiful Maldives's

I watched this video several years ago for the first time. For me, this presents the absolute perfect beach spot. I fell in love with the Maldives based on the beautiful pictures and videos found on the internet. It is a paradise. I always thought one day I'll get there. I always believed that sooner or later I'll travel to the Maldives, aka the best of all beach destination in the world in my opinion. A few weeks ago I created a vision board and I put a vacation in the Maldives on it. Yesterday we made our reservation to a resort hotel for 15 nights!!! It is a true dream come true... A dream of many years. After we made the reservation I was so happy, I couldn't contain myself for half an hour. I could hardly believe, that I'll see the real thing, not only the pictures, as I did for years. I am still very, very happy. I chose to travel in February, beacause as far as I know the weather is best around that time. In 7 months I'll see my dream in real life... Maldives, I'm looking forward to see you!
I've seen countless of videos of beautiful scenery. But, my God, this one simply defines perfection like no others. In fact, I told my wife I wish we were right there enjoying this piece of heaven on earth, then just slip away eternally to see God.

I spend hours of my day studying with this in the background. When the reading gets a bit much I just look up and out to the horizon in this video and imagine myself lying on this beach with the hot summer sun on my face with a cool beer in my hand. It really does 'take you away' to another place. I hope that one day if work hard enough and do my studies, that I will be able to afford to go to these places several times a year for a couple weeks to let go of the stresses of work life in the UK. Thank you so much for uploading. This has made my life so much more bearable.

I was looking online for a peaceful ocean soundtrack and none of them had the sound I wanted. Lots of them were waves on pebble beaches which has a darker sound. And the waves all sounded too powerful and thunderous, not relaxing enough for my liking. But I knew straight away from the sound that this is recording of gentle waves washing on fine sand even without the lovely visual footage. This is the ocean sound which defines relaxation for me. It's really heaven on Earth. I was on a holiday in the Maldives now, I just returned home yesterday. We stayed in Sun Island Resort with my family, it was like a dream. The ocean, the vegetation, everything is beautiful and I love that even if it's a tourist paradise with big luxury, they still are very eco-friendly and sustainable, paying attention to the environment and they do everything to keep the natural conditions of the island(s). I hope I can go back someday. Miss it already.

a couple was stranded for i think 3 months here during covid... they didnt bring work cause it was a wedding. they were bored. all they did was eat, sleep bath and look at the ocean- staff was limited. they were not allowed entry to Dubai- back to home and some of it was during fasting. this is a writers dream!

To think I moved away from my tropical island home where I grew up climbing coconut trees for coconuts, playing at the beach with my friends and walking home for dinner, taking the bus accros mountains to get to school, eating some bbq when my bus dropped me off, then coming home and watering my palm trees and vegetables. Life was so simple and easy. People were so much more friendlier, parties and fiesta's were more common, no had to dress up, you just wore a pair of slippers, gym shorts, and a sandew and you'd good for almost any occasion. I miss my life back there. I miss my friends, family, home, food, my bed, my dog, I miss the island. Listening to this only hurts because it doesn't even compare to the real thing.
It's Saturday, my boyfriend and I are laying on a mattress we put on the floor in front of the open window. The sun is beaming down on us and I've put this on the speakers. Grateful for this moment, nice (fake) break from quarantine 🙏

Don't dwell on things from the past, don't stress on your future. Just live your life, because you only get one. Do whatever makes you happy, not what other people want from you. When i was a kid my family used to bring us at the same place every summer, it was next to the sea and so amazing, thoses holidays where the happiest moment in my life, i never felt this happy since, and now it's been almost ten years we don't go there anymore and the house where we stayed was sold, it used to belong to my familly, now it is an old memorie that i can't forget, i still not used to live without the sea, i actully live at 12h with car from there, i miss this place so much, thank for the video it help me to go there in my mind. My mum died just before lockdown too xx I drink roobois tea and use Lush sleepy products that contain Lavender to soothe. Much better now xxx

my wife suffers a depression since 14 years or so. Change of a place of living, a dog and being close to the forest made a dramatic change in her mind. And a marriage i guess. Ofcourse she stills takes pills like Triticco, but it is much better than i remember it used to be.

Just came back from a trip to Maldives. The return to "real life" has been bittersweet to say the least, especially since I live in a land-locked country. The sounds in this video alleviate my mood for sure.

Always listen to this before my 12 hour Ward shifts. Really helps me to relax and breathe.
I actually felt my heart beating again , my body warm up and my breathing improve following the sound of mother nature.
Everytime I go to the Beach I sit on the shore for hours with my eyes close enjoying the ambience so everytime I listen to one of these videos I’m transported telepathically to that point in time. It’s a Beautiful practice and I’m sure I’m not the only one who does this that seeks out these videos. Also gave up Facebook Today so here is my outlet. 🥰

It's really heaven on Earth. I was on a holiday in the Maldives now, I just returned home yesterday. We stayed in Sun Island Resort with my family, it was like a dream. The ocean, the vegetation, everything is beautiful and I love that even if it's a tourist paradise with big luxury, they still are very eco-friendly and sustainable, paying attention to the environment and they do everything to keep the natural conditions of the island(s). I hope I can go back someday. Miss it already.

a couple was stranded for i think 3 months here during covid... they didnt bring work cause it was a wedding. they were bored. all they did was eat, sleep bath and look at the ocean- staff was limited. they were not allowed entry to Dubai- back to home and some of it was during fasting. this is a writers dream!

To think I moved away from my tropical island home where I grew up climbing coconut trees for coconuts, playing at the beach with my friends and walking home for dinner, taking the bus accros mountains to get to school, eating some bbq when my bus dropped me off, then coming home and watering my palm trees and vegetables. Life was so simple and easy. People were so much more friendlier, parties and fiesta's were more common, no had to dress up, you just wore a pair of slippers, gym shorts, and a sandew and you'd good for almost any occasion. I miss my life back there. I miss my friends, family, home, food, my bed, my dog, I miss the island. Listening to this only hurts because it doesn't even compare to the real thing.

This is THE most amazing video! Whoever found this should be awarded! Its like, not real, too perfect. It must be some kind of movie magic. A place on earth that really exist like this is to unbelievable. And the relaxing wave sounds are incredibly peaceful not to mention the restful weather. I've had this saved on my computer for almost a year, and every time play it, i just stare at it for a few moments in dreamy awe wondering if a place like this can really be........real.

If you are reading this at night, you should get some sleep, and don't stress about everything going on in the world, or what you are going through. Don't dwell on things from the past, don't stress on your future. Just live your life, because you only get one. Do whatever makes you happy, not what other people want from you. When i was a kid my family used to bring us at the same place every summer, it was next to the sea and so amazing, thoses holidays where the happiest moment in my life, i never felt this happy since, and now it's been almost ten years we don't go there anymore and the house where we stayed was sold, it used to belong to my familly, now it is an old memorie that i can't forget, i still not used to live without the sea, i actully live at 12h with car from there, i miss this place so much, thank for the video it help me to go there in my mind. ( Sorry for the bad english)
