NOTE 1 The gas struts holding up the bonnet were taken out for repairs, hence, that is why I used my tripod to hold the bonnet up while I filmed the engine compartment clip.
Hello everyone! Today's video will be about the Malaysian-spec 2015 Peugeot 508 four door saloon with the 1.6 litre Prince turbocharged petrol engine producing 163hp/165PS paired to a 6-speed automatic.

Can it really do 7l for 100km ?

I have DS4 with same engine ...can do 16km+ per litre on highway @ average 110km/h. (16km per litre = 6.25 litres). Best I got is 17km per litre... which 5.88litres for 100kms.

5:24 - Why is your tripod propping up the hood? The car in the video is barely 2 years old and the the hydraulic strut is already dead? Nasim Peugeot couldn't be bothered to stock the spare parts & fix under warranty ah?
No wonder low resale value.

The gas struts for the bonnet were taken out from the test drive vehicle to test it on a different vehicle from what I was told. It was fixed back not too long after I gave the car back to the dealer.
