Super board is a reference to a a kids show from Korea called fly super board. And Chan specifically made the naom sound to be super obnoxious lol it’s one of my favs though. Red lights is about being obsessed about something Chan being obsessed with music and hyunjin being obsessed with dancing. Lonely st, Korea has alot of issues with people committing suicide and having mental issues and SKZ is one of the few groups that actually addresses depression in their songs. This is such a random recommendation but I promise it is worth it... stray kids zoom live, specifically the video titled "zoom with stray kids (peaceful)(relaxing)" is actually the funniest interview I have ever seen. Totally recommend!!!!!!!

When I listen to stray kids music I keep a really open mind bc I never know what to expect. They are just experimenting with sounds and different styles and I think they do it all so well in their special way. I love how for them music is fun and not something that requires such strict and closed minded thinking. they are incredibly creative and gifted. They enjoy their job and it is evident in their music. They just love creating and exploring and it is awesome to see and hear. I like every single stray kids song all for different reasons. They all give such diff vibes/feelings that suit my every mood and desire for music and they all just itch my brain and are so addictive. Their songs are timeless! so impressive. Super board is one of my favs🐱
super board is a song that resembles an aspect of freedom and recklessness. It's supposed to encourage taking the risk and taking opportunities. It's about being unapologetically themselves and doing things in their own ways. There is a lot more about this song but many others in the comments shared them. Skz tend to make their music fun and same with the music videos. I believe it was all intentional they did what they did because that is how they wanted it. I believe perspective is a big deal when it comes to watching new content.
I totally get it. Skz produce really amazing songs so when they come up with something that sound average, it can feel like a slight letdown. But having listened to their entire discography, I realize that i like the variety, and amazed that 99% of their songs are written, arranged, and produced by them. A lot of these are some of my favorites, but I pretty much like all Stray Kids songs. Even if I didn't start off liking a song, a couple more listens and it is on my playlist. But Christmas EveL I love, yet I don't celebrate Christmas lol. Lonely St is right up there with my favorites. I love that they address mental health. It is so important and almost never talked about in Korea. They have got a lot of hate for addressing things like depression. So I feel Lonely St is important and needed. Either it grows on me, I listen to the lyrics or I find out more about its creations and then it makes it to my playlist. I think at this point I have 140 of their songs on my Playlist and I can think of maybe 5 songs that even after listening to them a few times they never made it on my Playlist. They are mostly the more basic kpop type songs. You definitely need to give it a couple times with each song. I absolutely hated Tortoise and Hare. Couldn't get through the song. Now it is one I love and listen to regularly. ❤

But I will say that, I give stray kids a little credit because the Kpop industry pushes these artists to the point of exhaustion. They usually put out 1 full album and 1 mini album a year. Some songs take a moment of pondering to make it into what you want. So when in a rush, it's not always the product the artist would have liked themselves

You are definitely one of those who need meaningful lyrics in songs, if so I recommend songs like: blueprint, voices, cover me and yellow wood. try to avoid songs like: chesse, item and surfing.
Straykids like to play with words and have fun, the work of producing is more than a few words, the musical construction behind it and the melodies are also important. You can't expect the same energy for the title track and the B-side, they are the B-side for a reason.

You are definitely one of those who need meaningful lyrics in songs, if so I recommend songs like: blueprint, voices, cover me and yellow wood. try to avoid songs like: chesse, item and surfing.
Straykids like to play with words and have fun, the work of producing is more than a few words, the musical construction behind it and the melodies are also important. You can't expect the same energy for the title track and the B-side, they are the B-side for a reason.
