This school never should have released this video. The first teacher should have taken it seriously and left her iced coffee in the building. I can’t believe how many students were talking, smiling, posing, and yes, dabbing, for the camera. All the students should be quiet for all drills.

We had a fire evacuation drill last week (a few days before our exams started so we should have been studying) and it was so boring, we have to go across the road to a small park and everyone is standing around talking and for my class we were testing each other so we could keep studying during the drill.

My only problem with this is how big is the school? That's a lot of students trying to leave at once, and they can't go much faster through that one door. How long would it take the shooter to find them, especially if they were making all that noise?

I don't think that they should've left. You won't always know the whereabouts of the intruder so to leave, you're putting your kids at risk because they could always move somewhere else.

At my school you have to run and if there are little kids that can't run fast grab them and run for your life go down to the woods and stand in lines and we take out big hard books but we run for our lives no we don't walk we run they don't run what if it was real and she said you want them to know your there and makes you walk not run

I've always wonder that, plus how do they keep them quiet is the big question. Some of those kids cannot control how they behave. Or they're in wheelchairs/walkers, so moving them around will make a lot of noises.

An Alice drill is when an intruder or bad person is in the school and they should not be in the school

Miranda, It is a drill that deals with an Active Intruder/Aggressor in the building. Having the children lined up for the drill should never have occurred in my personal opinion. Additionally, if you evacuate, it should not be a nice neat line, at about the 1:40 mark, the kids outside are running, that works and should be the same inside. Moving targets are harder to hit and that is not what they were showing. They a;most looked like all they did was rename their fire drill.
