Great tournament, a lot to learn about for occasionals like I am ; special thanx for Pokerstars anchors & guests, you're so precious and fun and longlasting ! Once said, you disagreed with Van Luijk's playing on many occasions, sometimes for clear reasons, sometimes questionably. Mateos can fire barrels with garbage cards, he will always be a genius for you. Angelov fires all the time and you praise his technique, OK. But when Van Luijk fires right ammounts vs Nasreddine + gets his card on the river, you paternalistically laugh at it. You even say he is "dumb" on hand 195 because he does not fire for value (but to my eyes he would just not want to trigger a chek/raise impossible to call on such a connected board, well done !!). Anyway, I thank you so much and I say Pokerstars is goooood for poker !
Very deserving champion Derk. The commentators failed to notice, it was this guy who had given the Coup de grace to Adrian Matteos, he then knocked out the start of day chip leader, then he shut down the loud Rania. He has been baiting Boris with his limp call each time and while the commentators were again pointing it as a mistake, he was actually baiting the bulgarian to end up with this final hand as Champion. However I do respect each one point of view but again Great PLAY and deserving Champion for the forthcoming new Dad.
He overplayed a lot of hands and got it in bad multiple times and sucked out on multiple rivers.. he definitely played decent to get to the final table but he had luck on his side which beats skill every time
I agree..but if you dont Play strictly in theoretical foundations ’luck’ is needing 😅 I often saw players in my tournaments they play with ’a feeling’ and i got a suckout too 🫣😅 Greets ✌🏼
I agree that Angelov played the heads up better. However Van Lujk managed to get all the way from shortest stack to the heads up and he was really far behind, like 4 or 5 times less. And I think he played pretty decent there, so maybe he only isn't that good at heads up.
It's so easy to pinpoint his lacks, far more difficult to survive in such an intense tournament. Stop saying he was only "lucky" or try your chance too. But be sure $1 sit n go players wouldn't last long..
Gefeliciteerd Derk! 8 uur kijken op de stream niet voor niets geweest 😜🎉
Dit dus haha!
he learned his lessons in the end !
Good show, thanks for the live stream :)

Well deserved, loved this guy!

He had 7 big blinds with 4 left… crazy
What a heads up battle love the stream and it taught me a lot about poker pros.
Congrets to Derk..well played man 🤩
And thanks for the streamings..i enjoyed it 😃

What a call 😮
May the better one win… no we choose the other one
Nicely done brother, nicely done indeed👍👍
Damn. Nice one
I have never seen such a domination at a HU. This is a lesson of how unfair poker is. The winner's level is of the average 1€ sit n gos player.
Couldn’t agree more!

You're right but let's not forget that Angelov hit a 3 out river twice on the final table to knock out 2 players.
This is also why poker is alive

Has to be an EPT HU record for length of time??
what a TRAP by van ljuik!
Commentary was woke af as was the mods in chat remind me to never comment again. What snowflakes.
Democrats
That is the worst edit of a final table ever !!!! Who is responsible for this rubbish ?
