I love that you highlighted the miracle of God's work in Emmanuel's heart! I used to feel a little disappointed not to have a dramatic conversion experience like my dad. Now I look at God's power in me and in my own children as a different kind of dramatic miracle. The preservation of genuine faith in Jesus, in the midst of a godless culture, can only be accomplished by the power of God. He is Awesome.
