As I explained in my intro, I shot most of the Icehouse gig however I forgot to mention that I ran out of memory on my card. I didn't intend to shoot the whole concert however I found a great spot to setup finally...lol and they sounded great, so I let the camera record as much as it could.
I wanted to be the drummer in Icehouse and still do😀
I'm Simon and this is my video journey in SE Asia.

Hey do you remember The Mal estick band, no fixed address, and Ian Moss solo, as did a bit of roady work back in the 80s in Sydney, the Tivoli in city Sydney prick of a place up 4 flights of stairs with all the gear, was fit and young back then in my mid to late 20s the good old days 😊
I auditioned for Mal many years ago, I also toured with No Fixed Address from Sydney to Darwin and back. The Tivoli was a regular gig I used to play almost eveyweek back in the day.

Wow you're sunburnt!!! So glad you made it back to Brisbane safe and sound. I was wondering how you got on. I thought Icehouse were awesome musically... but stage presence is a little dull! I'm all about the energy and vibe on stage from a band! Great video you put together in that location.
Oh man that was a long drive from BRB back to Brissy, I'm so glad I made it back in one piece as there were a stack of Pigs, Roos etc along the way. That last day of filming I caught heaps of sun and didn't realise until I arrived into Brisbane how sunburn I was🤣
I now regret not recording the all the bands now.

just adding to that... it would seriously be great content to be shot professionally rather than whatever I manage to pull off while driving and doing all the things. Need to teach myself how to use my baby drone at some point too!
