Thank you for the updates. Any chance to do a guide for the current tier, ST rotation, prio abilities, cleave 2-3 targets and AOE, and when it's worth to drop Rake (if you ever do)?
i do love your vids, you are the main inspiration to play feral as main character thanks alot jst one question, do you think the next tier buff is better than the current one?
I do like that sabre jaws makes you care more about max energy bites... but we already did didn't we? Idk if this really makes bite gameplay more interesting. My big fear is that it will overly buff bites, wich leads to the best st build being all centered around bites talent wise and the dot talents will be neglected... no swarm no circle. Our dmg profile would be 40%+ bites again. Feelsbad. I hope they tune it down a bit
We didn't care about max energy Bites in CD's (though with Incarn talented it was hard to deplete anyway, but its quite relevant with regular Berserk). And yeah I mean, I'm fine with the bite dominant dmg profile for one tier, DOT talents are more engaging/more versatile dmg profile/more about player skill/rewarding etc, but gotta mix it up a bit and Bite-focus plays well into the tier set. DOTs I think are definitely still their focus with Feral and I would expect more support for that in future changes/tier sets etc. Plus maybe they will tune some of these new talent changes or old talents over the PTR.
@@cheesey7395that's the thing, if i knew that it's just one tier I wouldn't mind. Then problem is that based on the track record this might just as well be the start of another 4 years of our dots hitting like a wet noodle. And at that point I'm not playing feral anymore... So every move they make towards buffing bite is potentially throwing feral in the garbage. It's been ages since they buffed dots. And with the feedback they're getting now, why should they change anything come 10.3?
@@maxw565 Nothing to be concerned about for now tbh, they were pretty explicit in the Feral identity bluepost last year that they want bleeds to be the priority. But Bite is still an important part of Feral kit, and can't really fault them for good changes relating to Bite talents this patch. I don't see any point in them trying to add new DOT talents this patch when the tier set is about burst and we wouldn't pick said DOT talents anyway. Also they buffed DOTs a bit in 10.1. Nothing really leads me to believe community wants the focus shifted either, bleeds/DOTs focus remains very popular. M+ damage profile in 10.2 will still be very bleed heavy. Apex is probably not going to the norm in future as well either, think its more a shake up for this tier. But Apex isn't really egregious anyway, has good synergies with DOT talents like Circle and also benefits from Haste. Won't have the talent points for Circle this tier I think, but in any future Apex-ST builds it will help influence DOT stats and talents (this is likely why Saber Jaws doesn't buff Apex either).
How come you convoke during frenzy? Would it not be better to hold it for after so you can get two back to back tier set windows? Or does the convoke frenzy not proc it? Thanks for the vid
So 2pc + 4pc basically equals a 30%~ amp. Convoke doesn't guarantee FF, so if you wait til after, you miss out on a 30% amp for your Convoke. By casting Convoke towards the end, at worst you are only overwriting a very small amount of the buff remaining (also it doesn't really require ultra precision or timing it or anything, after your FF fills your CP's use Bite, then do 2-3 more builders + Bite again, then Convoke, and that will work every time providing you had energy).
I'll be playing Sin as my alt for splits, as I really like their rework. But yeah, Sin has a fair few rotational buttons, to me that's not an issue but I know many might have difficulty. But both have their similarities, Feral has burst windows every 30 seconds (with bigger burst every 1-2 min) while Sin has burst windows every 1 min with bigger every 2 min. Sin has more pooling and lower APM than Feral in 10.2 in single target, though in CDs and AOE Sin has a much higher APM. So up to you what you like. Both have fun multi-dotting aspects. Indiscriminate Carnage change is kind of annoying though, it doesn't smart target at this stage and if that doesn't change it's going to feel clunky... also the duration on it is way too long, makes multi-dotting less interesting. Feral in 10.2 flaws are the fact it can be quite spammy on energy in single target and a lot of your damage will be based on RNG like Apex and Convoke. I think Sin will be more complex than Feral in 10.2, but that would also depend on how familiar you are with either spec already. You would have to try both on PTR, but both are very fun.
Thanks a ton for the long and elaborate reply! I think the lower APM of sin is something I could enjoy, especially with the passive version of exanguinate! Again, thanks for the well thought out response!
You don't 'need' to, but it is optimal. However LS is perfectly valid option, especially if it means you make less mistakes and can focus on mechanics. I will say regarding BT: it will be significantly easier going into a new tier set, + the Apex aoe changes.
Maybe I'm just missing something. Why are they basing a tier set around a talent? That kind of means we HAVE to take the talent no matter this situation no?
Note: a few things in here have become slightly dated through the PTR cycle, I will do an updated video soon.
thank you :*
That would be lovely
Appreciate you - excited to play feral next tier
The king has returned
Thank u alot for helping feral druids , everythig looks cool , and I hope u make more videos about feral🎉
Thanks mate, will do

jst one question, do you think the next tier buff is better than the current one?

really appreciate the video, can you do a deep guide on rotation and the variables you can encounter and what to do? thakn you ure an inspiration
At some point yeah I can, will try before 10.2 but no promises
Let's fking go bro
Great vid! Also what is the name of the add on that tracks the bleeds in the middle of your screen?
Hello its this weakaura wago.io/H3yjY1gs1
would u mind doing a video about bis gear for 10.2
Yeah was going to make a couple vids this weekend hopefully including one for gear
@@cheesey7395 nice!, will see it for sure.
thanks for video

Very likely to be better yeah in both raid and m+.

How would you say feral compares to sin rogue for 10.2? Still cant decide which one I wanna main for the patch, sin is looking kinda button heavy?

teaching people feral is nice but can you teach people the australian accent too ty
It's the one accent Hollywood actors can't even get right most of the time lmao
always will be a bad class for pve... unfortunately
Not in the least. Puzzling conclusion you got there, hoss.
