Any recommendations on treadling? Do you have a singer treadle? What might be the best set up for this machine? Yours seems to treadle very easily. . .
As long as the treadle is well oiled, most of the them spin very freely. The biggest issue with treadling is when the balance wheel on the sewing machine is light -- this makes treadling difficult. For example, the 672 has a light aluminium wheel so will be difficult (but not impossible to treadle). I upgrade my machines for treadling to a heavier wheel which is easy.

I just got this sewing machine but to change the embroidery, am I going to be changing the plastic you removed from it's top?
I think that you mean the pattern cams. In order to get a different pattern, you will pull out the cam in the top and put in a different one.
Do you know if the modifier on Kenmore machines functions the same wa y as in the Janome? Thanks for this great video.
I believe it depends on the model. My 158.1914 works in the same way (+/- on the Janome S/L on the Kenmore).
