My late wife bought L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme for me in the late 90's and I've loved revisiting it every summer. Since then I've fallen in love with Issey Miyake's winter fragrances which to me are masterpieces. To say that he has been a huge influence in my fragrance journey is an understatement. Rest in Peace Mr. Miyake....thank you.
I've always thought Pulse of the Night was one of Miyake's better ones IMO. Definitely check that one out if you can find it, smells incredible and worth the buy for sure!

Anyone looking for a perfect ''under the radar'' autumn/winter cologne, should try Myrrh & Tonka from Jo Malone. One of my absolute favorites for the colder days, balancing sweet and spicy accords. And contrary to other Jo Malone colognes, Myrrh and Tonka actually lasts for a decent amount of time on the skin!
Since I live in FL we get 10 months of summer so I'll stick with bad boy le parfum ,ultra male and armaf cdnim. The armaf is a absolute beast instant compliments every time
I wear anything in any season. It's amazing what heat does to some of these "fall/winter" fragrances. People forget that you get virtually no projection from fragrances when temps get cold.
@@aisthefisherman They do it in the middle east everyday. I can understand if that's not your thing though. I don't own any crazy Oud dominant fragrances yet. Just designer level Ouds, and they wear gorgeous in the heat. Stuff like SWY Oud, Boss Bottled Oud, Shaghaf Oud, etc.
I never purchased any fragrances for myself before, usually just used the ones I was gifted during Christmas lol However after watching 10-15 of your vids today alone im kinda getting into it and just made my first ever purchase! I ordered 3 fragrances (2 I've never tried or had before) 1) Davidoff - Cool water, as a kid my older cousin had this and I loved it! / 2) Aqua Di Gio - Perfumo & 3) Versace - Eros. Can't wait to try them 😊 thanks for the vids. I'm hooked.
Glad to hear this. I recently got back into fragrances and have been checking out tons of reviews. Cool Water is a classic and very affordable and smells a lot like Creed’s Green Irish Tweed, which is one of Ash’s all time faves. I just sniffed some Cool Water tonight at Walmart and it took me way back to Highschool. Profumo is actually a fairly simple fragrance but it’s much more mature than the other two you have coming. I hope you like it. Pretty masculine. Eros is where I was disappointed. People on RUclips here were hyping it to the moon and so I was psyched but I really don’t care for it. It’s very sweet to the point of almost being feminine but it might just be my nose on the stuff. Apparently it’s pretty legendary for youthful, party going types. 🤷🏻♂️ I don’t recommend blind buying a lot of this stuff. You will be disappointed oftentimes. Or that has been my experience thus far anyways. I would try Scentbox or Microperfumes and just get yourself some samples or go bigger with 5-8ml travel size vials. Have fun on your fragrance journey. Hope you find that perfect signature scent that works well with your body chemistry.
I agree with those who suggest you get samples and go with what you like - and what your significant other likes (if you have one). There are some really inexpensive clones that are highly recommended here by Ash and many other people. Have fun and don’t go crazy!
Man I decided to buy ADG profumo duty free on my way back from Barcelona and decided to watch some videos about other fragrances. I found this channel and immediately got addicted to the idea of having a huge collection of different fragrances for different occasions. I have to stop myself so that I don't blow all of my money on this stuff, because I feel like that could easily happen. Perhaps sticking to 1 new fragrance a month or every other month is a viable option. Btw Acqua di gio profumo smells really nice, I'm sure you'll like it.

Going to put £60-100 a month to do towards 1 new fragrance and take it from there
L'Eau d'Issey pour Homme was my signature sent throughout my 20's and most of my 30's. Absolutely fell in love with the sent after a friend gave me a sample of it. I don't wear it as much as I used but I still keep a bottle on hand. I just bought the one you mentioned and another bottle of the original, just to keep as a backup. I'm looking forward to trying out sauvage elixir when it gets cooler this year.

couldn't agree more with the reserve privee infact, my uber driver who was very quiet didn't open his mouth at all until he could smell it on me and HAD to ask what I was wearing and then I proceeded to have a perfume convo with him which I was just so in my element honestly 👏🔥🙌

Thanks for bringing up the Polo Supreme Cashmere. I wasn’t blown away at first either but it really did grow on me. I love all three, I’d go Oud first, then Cashmere and then Leather.

I run into the problem where my wife has never liked the more fall/winter types of cologne that tend to be more on the spicier side, scent wise. She still prefers the fresh/clean smells overall, regardless. I am trying to win her over with the V&R Spicebomb Extreme, but it's an uphill battle, even though I like it.
I think most of us have that same problem. It's like almost every male fragrance reviewer says, "the ladies always prefer the fresh/clean/sweet fragrances." Do what do you should as a man, wear what you want, like and enjoy. She'll come around to it, and she will miss it when you don't wear those fragrances. Cheers!

I’ll try and help those who don’t know whether they should try (a sample) of azzaro the most wanted or stronger with you absolutely. Azzaro the most wanted has a “louder” profile that would be something like a cross between stronger with you and invictus (there’s a “bubblegum” vibe at the beginning, but it’s much much better than invictus). Stronger with you absolutely is a more “refined” scent that has some nuts smells that aren’t present (or easily noticeable) in most wanted. I’d classify the most wanted as a clubbing scent and stronger with you absolutely as a dating scent. I hope this helps people who don’t know which one to try first (I’ve managed to get samples from both scents before deciding if I should go for a full bottle).

Just discovered a new fragrance by Motörhead yesterday.Sprayed it on a blot only but boy did it smell like Tuscan Leather for just about 40 Euros.Can't say much about its performance on skin though...while that blot still smells like crazy. The bottle presentation is similar to the Maison Margiela ones.

Think about Oud fragrances right, in the west they say these are heavy fragrances only appropriate for the winter but middle easterners wear these parfums in the high heat all year round and they love it.
@@fufucaney yup I heard Aaron Terrence hues say that. I’m coming around to oud still and enjoy it but don’t have the courage to wear it out because of others reactions. Idk any if not all fragrance technically perform better in the heat and Worse in the cold so I get my moneys worth wearing all types in the heat. Plus you can just wear less in the heat and it will perform the same as if you wore a lot more in the cold.

Texas weather doesn’t go lower than 90 degrees until January, so I’ll be rocking my warm weather fragrances for a couple more months 😅

You can get fragrance projection and sillage in Alaska with the right fragrance. Well maybe not sillage outside

I honestly wear these all year round. I just don’t care, I love dense vanilla/tonka based fragrances. Loving the most wanted parfum lately

@@android-ud2nf 100%. Which is crazy because I was also obsessed with One Million back in 2010 and I've never wore that baby in the winter. Think about Oud fragrances right, in the west they say these are heavy fragrances only appropriate for the winter but middle easterners wear these parfums in the high heat all year round and they love it.
@@fufucaney yup I heard Aaron Terrence hues say that. I’m coming around to oud still and enjoy it but don’t have the courage to wear it out because of others reactions. Idk any if not all fragrance technically perform better in the heat and Worse in the cold so I get my moneys worth wearing all types in the heat. Plus you can just wear less in the heat and it will perform the same as if you wore a lot more in the cold.
