You can actually just pop the shifter out and put transmission fluid in from there, much easier

Did you watch the video? I explained why I did not do that. I had just replaced the bushing two days prior and the shifter had a fresh gasket and rtv on it that I did not want to remove

My 1996 cobra won't stay on when I put it in netural when I come to a stop what could that be and my gears are really hard to shit and it grind in reverse while holding the clutch in 😢

Reverse doesn’t have synchros on these cars. You gotta acquire a feel for putting it in reverse and not grind. Dying at idle sounds like an idle air control valve issue to me but who knows. Diagnosing a car thru comments is impossible lol
