Sargeant fan here: Logan Sargeant didn’t have the same car as Albon Australia through Spain, even using 2023 car parts, and Logan is actually behind Albon in the destructors championship. He definitely has gotten so much better, he just is getting let down by the team.
The parallels would be crazy if Verstappen wins a 9 straight or something like Vettel. But I’m praying the parody of winners and performances continues
Honestly tsunoda should be at least 9 or 8th he’s been the most consistent driver in the midfield or even the whole grid he has got points for almost every race he’s not glazed by vcarb and rb and put him in a top 4 car then he can be as good as mv33
As good as max?, I doubt, but certainly better than Checo or Ricardo and at his best he can be like prime ric or prime Webber consistently. I really really hope to see him in a top 4 car one day
Solid ranking, but albon could be 1 or 2 positions higher and also sainz should be closer to leclerc as he outperformed him in the beginning of the season
Part of me was contemplating putting decimals for Sainz, Hamilton, and Leclerc since imo theyve been all so close. For that matter Sainz specifically is 4.3, Hamilton and Leclerc 4.4. That’s how close they are imo
It is a bit unfair to include overall season ratings considering Sainz before Canada was a highly consistent driver for Ferrari and especially last year won some of the only races that Verstappen didn’t, but overall I agree with a lot of these ratings.
For sure Sainz has been pretty consistent but we have to look at the season as a whole and in my opinion, just narrowly is he behind Lewis and Charles, but they are so close. Maybe next time I rank, I’ll use decimals instead of - and + so you guys can see the exact rank.
How tf is piastri above both ferrari drivers. Sure he is performing great considering his age, but overall he is still clearly slower than the other top drivers
But Piastri has not dnf’d or made any serious mistakes, he has been consistently good, I also think he has no dnf’s so far. His consistency is ultimately what got him my ranking
I disagree with your assessment of George Russell! For some reason he is just missing the final element to make him a great driver, and at the rate he is going, he may never acquire that element for greatness. Bottas was way better than Russell in the same position with Mercedes, competing with and driving Hamilton to even better performances, and the same can be said of Nico Rosberg when he was Hamilton’s teammate. But Russell just doesn’t have it yet, and in my opinion, he will never have it, especially after Hamilton moves to Ferrari!
I do think he is missing that one element of calmness to ensure victory, however he has been ahead of Lewis more often than not and this season we are seeing less crashes and mistakes aside from Australia. I think it’s still a bit too early to tell how he ranks among bottas and Rosberg but he is on a nice trajectory in my opinion
@@F-Duck1 I do agree with you on his trajectory, but that will end when Hamilton moves to Ferrari. It just seems to me that he isn’t willing to learn from an essential resource, preferring instead to try to compete with Hamilton, which destroys team dynamics. Hamilton is at the end of his career, he has every record anyone could dream to have in their career, Russell shouldn’t be trying to compete with Hamilton, he should be learning everything he can to understand what it takes to be a champion! No matter how Russell outperforms Hamilton, in the end it means nothing, and in the History of the sport, he will be an asterisk if he doesn’t elevate himself.
Yeah but imo, Daniel has had more higher highs than albon, even tho his lows were lower. Idk maybe it’s just me but albon hasn’t impressed me like how he did last season, sure he has gotten points finishes but I don’t see any impressive feats other than the brilliant overtake in Canada. This is not me dunking on him, this is me wanting to see more.

Fully agree, I think if he is given more time, we can see his career turn around similar to yuki, but that’s only if he survives going into next year

Totally agree! He had a great 4th of July weekend. Let's hope he can keep up the momentum. I've been cheering for him big time.
Bro really said „come on man do better“ about checo😭

Thanks for giving some recognition to hulk🥰
I mean how could I not, he is absolutely cooking
This season is giving me some 2013 vibes, i expect RB to win all the races from summer break to season end😭
Let’s hope not…

Lance stroll ahead of Pierre and ocon is criminal
Idk maybe it’s my eyes deceiving me but he hasn’t been all that bad this season. Other than a few races here and there.
@@F-Duck1he’s doing quite fine in the European leg, the first races not so much

Ferrari drivers are not disappointing however Ferrari is disappointing
I mean a decent strategy and a competent car would do miracles
For sure but they have been getting into more incidents but that can be partly blamed by Ferrari too. It’s just unfortunate all around
saying that this evaluation wasnt Leclerc biased would be a lie.
That’s why I said bias would seep into the ratings as a disclaimer. Make no mistake, 7,6,5 are all very very close in the ratings
Quak Quak👃
Danny ric is way too high
Perhaps, but he is picking his performances up since China with some very brilliant performances. Of course not close to yuki but it is good enough
4:47 Do not put a still frame from Christian Horner on my phone (i watch from my phone). I feel dirty now.
Sorry lol, that picture is just too funny tho
