- Lord March gives us a sneak peak into his noisy and wild 1929 Model A Ford Hot Rod he picked up in Bonneville, USA and re-modelled into his own custom design. #gwinside
Funny! One would expect Lord March to be touting a McLaren F1, or La Ferrari, or other super/hyper car, but there he is saying things like "chopped" and "lakeside pipes" and sounding like any American teenager from the 50's or 60's. Made my day!
Lord March seems like such a great and genuine man.
Would be great to hear a bit more about Lord March's collection.
Great old car. They will keep you on your toes and the Excitement of Driving them, and you do have to Drive them. You just don't jump in and go. So Glad you Enjoy it and Drive it around.
The smile says it all 😊
What a car! Love the hot rod culture :)
Great hearing a proper English gentleman describing why he likes hot rods. If you're ever in Texas, I'll take you to the best barbeque joint around.
The only Duke who owns a hot rod! Good for him !
You and I Mr March could get on very well!!
you have great taste.
needs a flathead v8. the mocked-up sbc doesn't fit well with the rest of the truck's style
I'm so done with people going with the "cheap to fix/get parts anywhere" Chevy engine. It's cheating. The fact someone makes a Lincoln valve cover for a small block Chevy makes my stomach turn. People in this hobby are usually tech savvy. They like to impress other tech savvy enthusiasts. This is built for a car show crowd.
Chevy motor! Lincoln covers! Heracy! Love the car, good fun
did not expect for him to have a rat rod , thats so kool , be real good to see what else he has ??
I think if the devil had a car it would be the v16 brm! now that sounds evil! nice hot rod tho!
Love it. U selling your hot rod?
Steering will be pretty tricky with crossply tyres!
What’s the best quarter mile time you did in it?
Stupid question:
Is it rain proof?
I love rods, but I'd rather go for a more practical one without the distorted layout; look at the driving position, he's practically grazing his chin with his knuckles when he steers!
Its a 1930 there bud the 29 has a boxy cab and a simple grill
this would not be the devil if he was a car lmao
Is that special prosthetic hair?
We all know the devil drives a Mopar.
Yes you are absolutely correct.
Sorry brother, but that's not a 29 :-( its a 30-31.
28-29's use left-over TT cabs and have massive doors and a square cab-back
Wrong. The 28/29 cab is NOT the same as 26/27
Ayeee Ohio boys
title of the music?
Devil would drive a v6dodge with automatic transmission
‘Make it your own’…..err no you didn’t. Someone else built it. ‘Easy to just go out and buy the same thing everyone else has got’….that’s exactly what you did.
How original, a model A ford hot-rod with a V8……..
That's a lot of brown.
We got the car back and it was tarbell..... wtd you bought it Jack ass! You can choose to not buy junk lol
What is tarbell??
only a brit would throw a Chevy engine into a ford hot rod
A ton of US people do the same. Its almost rare to see a Ford engine swapped into anything these days. I think there was less than 20 Ford engined cars in the 400+ field of Drag Week cars last year. But there was a lot of Fords because the Fox body Mustang is the go-to shell for dumping in an LS engine with or without turbo.
It's a 1930
