The Royal Sea Bathing Hospital, Margate - House Auction 2007 - Pre-Development

A Tiger Aspect production for Channel 4, this episode aired sometime in 2007 and featured The Royal Sea Bathing Hospital in Margate, UK.
In 2016 the development has changed hands a few times but is mostly complete, with more building work taking place on the former nurses home, and the "ultra modern" sea facing holiday homes.

I lived in the nurses home in the very early 80’s, when we still wore proper uniforms and those lovely long navy blue cloaks. I do wish you’d shown me in there. I think mine was room 35, on the first floor, overlooking the ‘roundabout’ in the entrance & my orange S reg 850cc mini.
I hope the chapel renovation went to plan.
