  • Not a vlog, no intrusive faces or talking, pure Japan only.
Takadanobaba is area in the northern part of Shinjuku city. Looking on the map around Takadanobaba station it looks like rural area. And in some places it's so, but not everywhere.
    Map www.google.com...
    Time 06/19 around 7:20pm
    Filmed in UltraHD 4K 60p with Lumix GH5 camera, 8-18 f2.8-4 lens, Beholder EC1 stabilizer and Audio-Technica AT9946CM mic.
Feel free to correct my English or suggest a video to film.

I really like seeing a different side of Japan . We see videos of Tokyo and big cities all the time . I love to see the slower parts of Japan . It’s so awesome that a person can walk through back streets like this with no problems . Cool video . Thanks for the time and effort in making this and posting it .

Thank you for the great channel! I live around this area so it was cool to see it on here. It will be nice to look back on these 20 to 30 years from now to remember exactly how things were. Your videos do a great job at capturing how it feels to walk around the streets of Japan.

Nothing better than exploring the districts by night, discovering hidden alleys, and hearing summer soundscapes, when all of a sudden those senses mix up and become like a subtle slip into another dimension. Tokyo the incredible City of Lights. Thank you.

50:30 THE best chicken skewers (yakitori) on the right where the rooster head is. It’s in the 2nd floor and small. Also they have a great steak skewer as well. A bit pricy but worth it.

This is my new favorite video! Neko was so cute. It seems hard to be a pedestrian..narrow streets, no sidewalk. Also I see two extremes: either it is flooded with bright lights, or it's pitch black!

It's hard to drive, not to walk. As a rule, pedestrians have right of way on those streets.

I have an idea of video you could enjoy filming, from shin mejiro dori you can find a big river, I used to walk along this river until iidabashi, and if you keep walking long enough you can end up in asakusa ! Of course it will be long but I just adore walking during hour hahah but walking among that river can be fun, there is always different path, little shops, and I discovered my favorite little park called edo park it’s really cute. I saw big Koi carp and turtle in this river, even If you won’t make a video just have a nice walk there would be pleasant for you !
