After everything that he's been through, and all of the plans that he's had backfire on him, he'd probably just be like "lmao fuck this" and quit. After all, the rest of the serpentine aren't hostile to humans anymore, the rest of his tribe died out long ago, and if you don't include the pilot, he's basically been doing this shit for the show's entire run, so he must be getting sick of losing over and over

I liked his semi-redemption back in season four. Day of the departed was day of the departed and we'd probably be better off forgetting that ever happened. From there if Pythor just retired or something. Perfect character arc.

@@YaboiFoxTale I can't speak for marc but I also think Pythor is out of character. It just doesn't make sense that he'd try to destroy the world with darkness. In S1 his motivation was avenging his race, in S3 he was exclusively getting back at the Ninja for the pyschological damage the Great Devourer caused him, and then in S4 he's once again focused on avenging the Anacondrai. Dotd is...weird and it really seems like he's mostly just there to be annoying, and the last canon time we saw him in Pythor's Revenge all he wants is media attention and all he does is steal some Borg tech. The jump from media hog to literally killing everyone doesn't make all that much sense. You could argue he's teaming up with the Overlord for protection, but you'd figure by now he'd realize that the Ninja usually win in the end. He's also unusually capable in battle for someone who's usual MO is running away.

@@Cryved2 I personally find that complete bs since Pythor’s involvement is common knowledge across ninjago, there are thousand of account witnesses + four fangblades and why would he be sentenced to prison other than releasing the Great devourer. Harumi must be aware of each villain’s involvement with the ninja otherwise the “revenge against those who have wronged you” wouldn’t make sense if she doesn’t how the ninja stopped Pythor. The only thing he did other than releasing the GD is helping the overlord in season 3. Also, Lloyd can’t just tell her that he released the GD? I think that's why pythor is one of my favorite villains from the Ninjago series. He isn't a villain based on sheer raw power and being the *"oh so scary big bad monster of the season",* no he has to rely on his wits and being manipulative to get what he wants.

This format has so much potential. I can see this as a series of Harumi/The Overlord trying to recruit past villains. Maybe a video where The Overlord frees the Time Twins from Time Limbo, and then time travels to recruit past versions of himself from throughout the series. Then Omega appears and they're like "who's this copycat" and Omega says "I was an ancient powerful evil of pure darkness before you were even born, kiss my Oni ass"

But then I went through the seasons and realized that all the other ones are either dead, good guys now, or disappeared and haven't returned. Serpentine (good now) Garmadon (disappeared. Probably wouldn't even want to join anyways. XD) Chen (dead) Morro (good/dead) Time Twins (disappeared) Oni (dead) Unagami (good) Kalmaar (dead)

I have never watched the show, never even heard of any of these characters, but I still had a good idea of the character and their personality from this. Damn, this series could be completely standalone and still work.

I just want to say I'm sorry. I saw this video pop up the day it came out and ignored it, and now that I've finally watched it I wish I'd done so sooner. This is EXACTLY what Pythor sounds and acts like in my heacanon. I thought he was great in this season, but I do want him to eventually decide he's done with villainy. Hoping for one with Lloyd and pythor that realizes that the kid freeing him started horrifcs chains of events that led to the biggest threats to Ninjago. Or one with pythor and aspheera
Everything ties back to Lloyd. Lloyd freed the serpentine which led to them trying to free the Devourer. They had to seek out Garmadon for help because of that, and it ended in much destruction that may or may not be relevant later. And Garmadon does his things until he meets the overlord and gets manipulated for the overlords attempt 2 at ninjago (yes 2, first attempt was against the first spinjitzu master). Overlord defeated blah blah blah, ninjago in ruins. The a man came around named Borg which reinvented the way of life in ninjago only for the overlord to manifest as computer virus of all things. Some fighting later, overlord blown up again blah blah blah, Zane blown up... huh. Zane is rebuilt but taken to Chens island to lure the ninjago there so Chen can do his sucky suck thing on their powers and turn his army into snakes. It always has to be snakes. Garmadon deletes himself from the show to save them, but in the process lets a ghost out that starts harassing ninjago, which lead to the cursed realm and its invasion of ninjago. Blah blah blah, ninja defeat them, the realm is destroyed. Oh no, realms are connected with each others, which means another realm went to the delete button when the cursed realm fell. And that means a djinn named Nadakhan is pretty unhappy because that was his home. Some fighting later, time is reversed and we will not have any more time related things... probably. Now, Yang was doing his own thing unrelated to the ninja really, but he used the villains they had already defeated to achieve his goal which still ties it in to Lloyd setting free the god damn serpentine. Then the time of hands, wow time again, that was fast, uses the eggs from the great devourer to create their army, but gets defeated. Then sons of garmadon, hunted and march of the oni happen. The only thing not connected to Lloyd setting free the serpentine is most of the later seasons + march of the oni
Well march of the oni still happened however sons of garmadon and hunted wouldn't of happened and then the oni would of taken over ninjago and no one would have been able to stop them.... so it would have ended then if Lloyd didn't open the serpentine tombs
It's very livid that all those threats that have been unleashed were caused by the chosen one, Lloyd. The legend that was to save Ninjago, was the same one that unleashed the same evil into it. It's cluster, isn't it? And Pythor is one of the very witnesses of these events. One of the oldest known snakes in the Franchise and Fandom. At this point, it's not surprising that Ca Pythor would give up fighting, and he already did in season 4, only for the new motivation to encourage him.

You know, I was super excited for Pythor's return, but Crystalized was such a Mhe season, and Pythor did so little, that it kind of disappointed me, but what disappointed me the most, was the fact that, in the spanish dub, they changed Pythor's voice, which was Iconic for a literal nobody. To be fair, pythor IS one of the smartest ninjago villain by a long margin. He's dangerous not because he's powerfull or a great fighter, but because he's intelligent, a great scemer and, most of all, has nothing to loose.

It's been about a decade since I last watched ninjago, the last season I watched was Skybound, and I was surprised when I looked up this big villain team and found that aside from Pythor and Overlord, I didn't recognize any of them.

Harumi must be aware of each villain’s involvement with the ninja otherwise the “revenge against those who have wronged you” wouldn’t make sense if she doesn’t how the ninja stopped Pythor. The only thing he did other than releasing the GD is helping the overlord in season 3.

I think that's why pythor is one of my favorite villains from the Ninjago series. He isn't a villain based on sheer raw power and being the *"oh so scary big bad monster of the season",* no he has to rely on his wits and being manipulative to get what he wants.
Which is really weird, considering he’s an Anacondrai, so you think he’d be a total powerhouse by default.

This format has so much potential. I can see this as a series of Harumi/The Overlord trying to recruit past villains. Maybe a video where The Overlord frees the Time Twins from Time Limbo, and then time travels to recruit past versions of himself from throughout the series. Then Omega appears and they're like "who's this copycat" and Omega says "I was an ancient powerful evil of pure darkness before you were even born, kiss my Oni ass"

He’s been imprisoned for decades, eaten by the Devourer and bleached because of it, shrunk by the ninja, stuck in a hamster wheel whilst being chased by a rat after being KIDNAPPED, and had a statue thrown onto his head by Lloyd fucking Garmadon. I think he’s completely over it

When I was watching crystallized I was asking myself "why they chose those guys for the council?" how come they didn't choose anyone else. But then I went through the seasons and realized that all the other ones are either dead, good guys now, or disappeared and haven't returned.

Everything ties back to Lloyd. Lloyd freed the serpentine which led to them trying to free the Devourer. They had to seek out Garmadon for help because of that, and it ended in much destruction that may or may not be relevant later. And Garmadon does his things until he meets the overlord and gets manipulated for the overlords attempt 2 at ninjago (yes 2, first attempt was against the first spinjitzu master). Overlord defeated blah blah blah, ninjago in ruins. The a man came around named Borg which reinvented the way of life in ninjago only for the overlord to manifest as computer virus of all things. Some fighting later, overlord blown up again blah blah blah, Zane blown up... huh. Zane is rebuilt but taken to Chens island to lure the ninjago there so Chen can do his sucky suck thing on their powers and turn his army into snakes. It always has to be snakes. Garmadon deletes himself from the show to save them, but in the process lets a ghost out that starts harassing ninjago, which lead to the cursed realm and its invasion of ninjago. Blah blah blah, ninja defeat them, the realm is destroyed. Oh no, realms are connected with each others, which means another realm went to the delete button when the cursed realm fell. And that means a djinn named Nadakhan is pretty unhappy because that was his home. Some fighting later, time is reversed and we will not have any more time related things... probably. Now, Yang was doing his own thing unrelated to the ninja really, but he used the villains they had already defeated to achieve his goal which still ties it in to Lloyd setting free the god damn serpentine. Then the time of hands, wow time again, that was fast, uses the eggs from the great devourer to create their army, but gets defeated. Then sons of garmadon, hunted and march of the oni happen. The only thing not connected to Lloyd setting free the serpentine is most of the later seasons + march of the oni
Well march of the oni still happened however sons of garmadon and hunted wouldn't of happened and then the oni would of taken over ninjago and no one would have been able to stop them.... so it would have ended then if Lloyd didn't open the serpentine tombs
It's very livid that all those threats that have been unleashed were caused by the chosen one, Lloyd.
The legend that was to save Ninjago, was the same one that unleashed the same evil into it.
It's cluster, isn't it? And Pythor is one of the very witnesses of these events. One of the oldest known snakes in the Franchise and Fandom.
At this point, it's not surprising that Ca Pythor would give up fighting, and he already did in season 4, only for the new motivation to encourage him.
At least Lloyd is still the legendary golden green ninja..Master of all elements.😎

It's been about a decade since I last watched ninjago, the last season I watched was Skybound, and I was surprised when I looked up this big villain team and found that aside from Pythor and Overlord, I didn't recognize any of them.
