JLH amplifier - max power output test

Test the max power output from JLH classe A amplifier .
equipment : wave sin generator at 1khz , Wattmeter , 8hm resistor load , oscilloscope.
I tested the power of this amplifier, powered at 31vdc, until the "clipping" of the sine wave at the amplifier's output was reached. The test reported a maximum power of about 8 watts RMS into an 8 ohm load.

Hi I've just bought those boards from ali, Many Years ago in the 90's I built the JLH 15 watt version. In those days You had to build by buying components and hardware and bashing away until You might end up with a working amp! Actually I (eventually) did but it was huge and pumped out so much heat that it kept Me warm in winter. Anyway nowadays it's so much easier thanks to those clever Chinese. Beat Wishes Dee ; - )
