Just did this, I used an oring to keep it tightly up against the glass. Ran water over it and it kept water out. The oring allows for removing with no mess. Thanks for the idea.
great info, ordered the parts. 9 mins is a bit long for this video though. I plan to also fold the hose and zip tie it off, as a secondary precaution. Cheers from Canada
R50 minis are the worst for kicking up dirt/water onto the rear window, I can't imagine surviving more than 5 minutes in the wet before losing all rear vision without the wiper.
True even in the R53 but when you are up front, there's no looking back. :) Unless being pulled over by the cops but you will see flashing lights in your side mirrors. Race/Drive responsibly.
Great video. Thanks for the cleanest and most economic way to shed weight. Milltek exhaust, rear seat delete, still looking to lose weight before upgrading power professionally by mechanics. Liked
Like dont wanna hate but it is not a cooper s and "tacky" while you have chrome literally everywhere. Also an extra pound will not do anything but aight.
Of course we do. Some states are stricter then others. Almost all of Manufactures now have 20% privacy tinted glass for the rear doors and rear window.
Can't tint windscreen in UK just factory tint. Front Side windows have to let in 75% of light through them. Then again what can you do in the shitty UK to enjoy yourself. NOTHING. Thanks for the delete info me cooper S R53 will get it done soon . Cheers.
@@equaliser2265 Yeah but you guys get the good gasoline and a lot of badass cars that aren't released in the States. Police don't mess with people for tinted windows very often here.

Awesome! I'm glad you were able to get that clean look!
Really surprised with how well it turned out thanks man
There is a pull string for the hatch under the rear seats
For real?! Learn something new everyday! Thanks man
A pull string for what?
@@jordanpeterson1893 for opening that hatch/boot in case your back one breaks?

Can you send a link of the plug you used to plug in the pipe for the water, thanks.
How did you pry off the arm?
If I remember correctly, the arm spins off like a nut on a bolt

MK6Guy didn’t seem like it really improves the look by removing it. But alright.
Don't you have laws for % of tint.. in your country.

Tacky haha😂
Thanks
That is not well sealed. Water will get in and rot your tailgate from the inside.
I did not seal it in this video. I added clear rtv sealant behind the plug afterwards. Sealed perfectly
totally useless (rolleyes) when the rear window gets wet or dirty you can't see feck all. Might be the fed's behind you
When your window is ceramic coated, nothing sticks to it anyway. Thanks for your comment
