I STILL HAVE THE SEASON 17 UNBOXING FOOTAGE! No Season 22 though. I've gone through all my videos and pictures from June-July 2022 and I'm guessing my back-to-back-to-back work during the summer prevented me from filming one.
I’m recently starting my journey with acquiring these Blu-ray sets. (Standard editions because I’m in the US.) First set I went after is season 23. Frankly I was tired of tuning into Pluto TV to find myself in like part 5 or 6 of Trial of a Time Lord, and really wanted to get all the episodes without getting another streaming subscription. I’m getting a liking to Colin Baker as well so that’s where my Blu-ray journey starts. XD (I’ve been getting into the Big Finish audios available on Spotify. That’s where I say my journey into Classic Who proper has begun.) PS. Also threw a subscribe at you. I’ve been getting into your episode reviews and discussions lately so that was long overdue. Keep up the amazing work.
Not counting the b&w seasons, they have 2 Pertwees, 3 Tom Bakers, 1 Davison and 1 McCoy left. So my guess is the order of following releases will be Baker - Pertwee - McCoy - Baker - Pertwee - Davison - Baker.
The size of these box sets and the cost of buying them all are why I much prefer waiting for the standard packaging versions which cost less and take up a lot less space.
I like the unboxings. Being in the States, I am jealous of not having the “Limited Edition”. Even if the BBC could put the booklets on PDF form on an “Extras” disc. Most of us know how to get a pdf off of a Blu-ray and transfer it to our phones and tablets. Easy peasy.
Hmm… nothing went wrong with this unboxing? I guess no more curse related skits unless something bigger can be treated as if it does make the unboxing go wrong.
Honestly, even though it has some of my favorite episodes in the history of the show, I _FAR AND AWAY_ want them to wait until the very last minute to do the B&W era of the show on Blu-Ray. Given how in recent years it's starting to become clearer more of the lost episodes have survived than we initially thought, and just can't be returned because of pedantic reasons like the owner wanting money/being scared of getting sued for having it, I'd much rather they wait so that we can have them with more recovered stories rather than fewer. Like, my fear is that they'd end up using animated reconstructions for the _Season_ sets in place of the originals, but then when those stories get recovered never do a "proper" _Season_ set that includes them. I'm already slightly annoyed Hartnell's second season is on Blu-Ray, although it's only missing two episodes to being with (and has live action reconstructions). But yeah, let's wait until more of the ones we KNOW exist get recovered. Don't get me wrong, I'm not seriously naive enough to believe every lost episode ever will get recovered, but I do believe that every episode that's _IMPORTANT TO THE CONTINUITY OR STORY_ will get recovered (since those have the most copies made/unaccounted for prints floating around somewhere we haven't looked yet). Like, I'm pretty sure every one where a companion gets introduced or leaves will eventually turn up.
MrTARDIS: “Yes, I’m a month late for Season 20, shuddup”
Season 17 & 22: “😐…Are we jokes to you?”
Wait, did I not unbox those?
I actually think I deleted the footage from my Season 17 unboxing because I thought I'd uploaded it...
Uh-oh.

@@MrTARDIS Well, that’s two videos to fill in for next week. You’ve even got the ‘Gone Wrong’ part of the videos already there!

This time no Revenge of the Cybermen getting in the way, LOL.
I'm getting this set for Christmas. Really looking forward to it.
Very informative video.

Kamelion documentary sounds amazing
"Alright folks, this is MrTARDIS and welcome to this 70-part documentary series on why Kamelion is the best companion ev...."
@@MrTARDIS he’s bound to have one in planet of fire, or the commentary might make a joke out of his VERY LOUD screaming noises

Do we know are they continuing with the standard boxsets? I started collecting them and they haven't dropped one since season 8 or 24?
Really want this set, mostly for the new Five Doctors and extras, will be my first Who Blu set when i can get it 😊

Cool video! I doubt the U.S. version will be as great-looking as this set. I've fallen a few box sets behind, but I hope to catch up soon.
no strange twist???? this dosen't sound like a mr tardis unboxing!
