I just purchased a serger thinking my sewing machine broke! LOL! I guess I have a new reason to keep it around after seeing your video. It's also the same one you have. :)
I really understand you! Trust me when I was looking for tutorials to find how to do it it was very hard! The fabric is called spandex and is also known as Lycra. Which machine do you have? For putting all the pieces together I use the Overlock machine… and I put the tension in 5 If there is a place where I can send you pictures let me know
@@dianaalonso9696 thank you💗 i texted you on Instagram! I don’t own an overlock machine, which I know makes it a lot harder.. :) My sewing machine is called janome m30a
This video was very informative! I would like to start my own leotard business but I have zero sewing experience! How did you make your pattern? Is it possible for you to do a more in-depth tutorial on your sewing process?
On the other hand, contrasting stitching does sound like a good idea. Like dark green leo with gold stitching? I don't think I've seen it anywhere else.
Great tutorial, thank you! In the thumbnail, you show a pink leotard with blue finishing. How do you do the blue finishing? I’ve been trying to find tutorials for so long so get that look, but nobody has any videos for it.
how do you know how much elastic to put in, I have tried to make a leotard but the legs neck and armholes are either too tight or too loose. maybe you could do a video on this.
I never cut it with a specific size, I start sewing from the roll not pulling so much and when I reach the other side of the neck or leg hole I cut the elastic from the roll and close the stitch
Thanks darling!!!!!👍👍👍.Saludos . One question: how did you put the elastic? , did you take measures or not???? Thanks and congrats for all you are doing and take care of you?
I don’t take measures for the elastics, I just sew it until I find the other side of the other elastic and then I cut it and put together (always one centimeter extra) upon the other one
This is a really great video, I wanted to ask where you find such beautiful prints in stretch fabric?? I have been looking everywhere but can't find xx
Vale vale!!!!

Amazing! Unfortunately I haven’t had time to create new ones lately… lots of work 🥲 but I’ll definitely do more!!!!
You're so talented!
Amazing Diana 🙏🏻😍
Great info thank you
I’m so happy to finally finding a tutorial how to actually sew a leotard, thank you

Hi! First time I also had no clue of how to make the patterns and I started tracing my own leotards o a paper, now I made my own measurements 😊

Ohhh I haven’t seen it either! 🤔 should I try it?
