Teenage Cady Heron (Lindsay Lohan) was educated in Africa by her scientist parents. When her family moves to the suburbs of Illinois, Cady finally gets to experience public school and gets a quick primer on the cruel, tacit laws of popularity that divide her fellow students into tightly knit cliques. She unwittingly finds herself in the good graces of an elite group of cool students dubbed "the Plastics," but Cady soon realizes how her shallow group of new friends earned this nickname.

I give the movie a mean mean 7 and a half
Mean Girls Is Very Pretty Great Film
Fun Fact: Rachel McAdams was shooting for ‘The Notebook’ while also shooting for this movie. She had auburn hair and her blonde hair is a wig.
A wig that was, in fact, insured for $10,000
Umm no kidding? Who actually thought that was her real hair lmao?
@@bailey7792 like the MILLIONS of people who had never heard of her before this. That's just a fact. Not even tryna be rude.
@@bailey7792 I had no idea it was a wig. Not sure why you think _everyone_ assumed it wasn't.
It look so bad they could have toned the hair get rid of the brassy hair it was working for her.
3:24 The “I’m from Michigan.” Moment will never stop being iconic.
How did the teacher not recognize that student if she's already been there all semester?
@@breezy3392 That's the funny part. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@breezy3392she’s thought africa and that’s what popped up 😂
Fun fact: Originally, Mean Girls was in R rated territory when being made. Many scenes cut included oral sex scene and Regina would have dropped more f bombs than Joe Pesci in Goodfellas alone!
The whole muffin buttering scene would've been a lot worse too 😂
‘The Princess Diaries’ and ‘Mean Girls’ both had iconic ‘Shut Up’ Moments lol
whoever made The Princess Diaries should’ve shut up before making it
One of my favourite parts of the movie is when Janice tells Kevin she’s Lebanese…. which is why Regina thought she was gay. Always makes me laugh.
The ‘Jingle Bell Rock’ Sequence never fails to make me laugh. Brilliantly choreographed 👏🏽
jesus, how many coments did you make on this vid xD
@@Sway22 As the girl who didn’t go the school put it: “I have a lot of feelings.”
26:44 Props to Rachel McAdams vocal range with that screaming.
Controversial topic.
Allowing minors to drink in your household rather than spending a night outside or who knows where BC they were too intoxicated or scared to go home.
I think that was actually pretty good of the mom in my mind, they're going to find a way to get it either way so why not minimize the dangers.
"I don't hate you because you're fat, you're fat because I hate you" 😂
Can we just agree that Damien is an icon (and arguably the meanest girl)? That Danny DeVito line alone solidified him as my favorite.
I really don't see how he is arguably the meanest girl, considering he doesn't really do much to anyone else in the movie.
definitely not the meanest girl lol but an icon indeed
Not the meanest but awesome 😂
I LOVE THIS MOVIE !!!! It’s legendary!
And the fact that I recently got why they called Janice a lesbian was because she was Lebanese will forever blow my mind!
Happy October 3rd everyone!
Interesting fact: Even though Mean Girls was set in Illinois, it was actually filmed in Canada.
I always assumed it was CA or something due to the lack of winter throughout the school year. The mini skirts and high heels are a bold choice for the Illinois winter. Also the fact that the school is called "North Shore." I suppose it is talking about the lake? Hmm.
@@stephiis8882 I think it was mostly just filmed in the summer. I have lived in Illinois before and their winters are extremely cold.
@@stephiis8882 honestly same lol it was in the Toronto area which is pretty much on the other side of michigan (and the two narrow lakes on either side of it)…
Here's the real irony of this movie:
IRL, Aaron Samuels, Damien, AND Kevin Gnapoor are all openly gay.
Jason, too, I've heard.
🤮
@@stephiis8882who hurt you? or just jealous you’ll never stand a chance now?
@@jahnabananadoesn’t say anywhere that I’ve seen but I did find out he was Carlos in The Magic School Bus! and was in other big stuff too
Amy Poehler as Mrs. George was the MVP of this movie. She didn’t need dialogues to make you laugh. #CoolMom
Fun Facts: Lindsay Lohan auditioned to be Regina George because she didn't want to be typecast as the good girl. And Rachel McAdams auditioned to be Cady Heron.
Another fact is that Rachel McAdams was wearing a wig for this role that was worth $10,000. It's funnier because when the characters at the beginning of the movie are introducing facts/ rumors about what they heard about Regina George. One of them says that they heard her hair is worth $10,000 XD She didn't want to bleach and ruin her hair for this role because I think she had another role where she needed her hair, its actual color.
Rachel said that she wore a wig because her hair didn't grow past her shoulders.
her normal hair is brown and it was auburn in The Notebook which she shot the same year so she couldn’t have that long straight blonde hair
@@dario8081and because she didn’t want to bleach it and also because she was shooting The Notebook the same year and she had auburn hair in that
Very fetch indeed Tim, we approve this movie selection!
Glad the duo approves 😎😎
Yo, what's up my three legends?
I love how seeing many times Clariss quoting all the iconic scenes in this movie. I can relate sometimes when I watch movies and TV shows. Thank you 💕Happy October 3rd🎃🦇
Clariss soiled Tim's blind reaction because she pre quoted EVERYTHING. It's cute if everyone has seen the movie, but this was Tim's first watch.
Timothée’s Innocent mind pulverised after seeing strategically applied cutouts lol
Jonathan Bennett along with Chad Michael Murray were such 2000s Heartthrobs.
A note on the casting: I have a feeling it was a concerted effort to have an adult play Regina to show the unrealistic standards set by mainstream media.
It’s the way the bus kept driving😂😂uhhh you just hit someone??💀
I've seen this movie too many times to count, but I was still laughing hard and loud along with you guys. What a blast!
Also, I am ABSOLUTELY on board with a "The Devil Wear's Prada" reaction. Make it happen. That's all.
Clariss with the free “Smile” promotion in the beginning
😂 is smile worth watching? Seeing a bunch of ads
@@TimotheeReacts I heard “Smile” and “Black Phone” were successful original horror / thriller films !
I loved black phone and I’m lagging on smile tho
HAPPY MEAN GIRLS DAY to everyone who celebrates! It’s a ‘GROOL’ kind of day. Also, it’s 46 minutes long?! BRB SCREAMING!
Around the time this movie came out, I was the bubbly goth chick that broke all the cliques and visited all my friends in the lunch room.🤣🤣 I'd sit with my weirdo friends while i ate, and after i threw my stuff away, I'd bounce all over the room saying hi to people. I went to school in the same city all 12 years, so i had maintained friends in all grades, throughout group switching. Then again, my school was a bit different. Lol and so was I. I was kind of immune and aloof to the clique thing, so i sorta got away with it. If anyone made fun of me, i never knew about it, and wouldn't have cared anyway. I gave no EFFS and i loved people. Lol
I’ve never seen this movie, yet I am familiar with the “Pink on Wednesdays” quote.! How ironic is that?
it’s not ironic to be aware of known quotes from a movie you haven’t seen…
I will be brave enough to say that I have cried in a toilet stall when I was in school. Don’t ask, it’s a long story.
And me, that I was bullied at school by my classmates, and when I was 16, one of their prank got too far (I was naive in this time) so the police was called (I learnt that from the bullies who accused me to called them)
5:38 Clariss, it’s accurate for non-American High Schools too lol
Well, in France, it's not like that 😉
It’s National Mean Girls Day and I am wearing pink as one must 😂
I do remember the guy who plays Damian only sung in front of his mom because he was nervous. No one else could be in there when they were filming
Happy mean girls day.
One of the most iconic teens movie
Cadys Dad: Hey how was your first day?
Tim: I ate in the washroom 😭
Lol. If only cady said that.
So many iconic moments, so many iconic lines, so many iconic people🤣🤣🤣THIS FILM WAS HILARIOUS
i have a friend who texted me this morning, 'It's October 3rd' ...watching with the gals here was just like watching with her...reciting every good line! loved this!!!
Timothée wearing Pink at 100K. That’d be fun! I’m looking forward to seeing it 👏🏽
As someone who was notorious for collecting information and industriously circulating gossip, rarely is something secret.
This was so much fun! Thank you for making October 3rd so much fun ❤
THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA is a great movie. Please react to it. Some great teen comedies: Easy A, Clueless, Heathers.
7:08 ‘MATILDA’ (1996) STANS UNITE ❤
Ever since I discovered this movie, I can’t stop quoting it. Regina George is by far the best character in this. I don’t care if she was also good in Doctor Strange, this was Rachel McAdams’s best role!
I heard that it was a funny movie, I loved this reaction so much it makes me wanna laugh, you’ve really made my day Tim. 😊
Watching Mean girls with cool girls XD
"The Devil wears Prada" Meryl Streep, Anne Heathaway, Emily Blunt💙 Brillant Film, brillant Actresses👍💜
not Tim hearing ALL the punchlines from the girls before the actual movie said them though
If my sister ever were to quote a movie, this would have to be the one she re-enacts the most
i would hate watching a movie with that girl she’s saying all the lines before the actors say it like plssss shut up😭
I love the fact that you were all still wearing the headphones, that way I know Tim still heard things while you two got to giggle over the things that are classic moments!
3:40 "Stay in your assigned seat!"
Thanks, Timothée! Thanks, Clariss! Thanks, Corley! 🌸 #TimotheeReacts #MarkWaters #MeanGirls
Definitely wouldnt mind your sister in more videos! She is amazing :)
Tim, it's gotta be said. Your skin looks AMAZING. Goddamn, good job!
Thanks appreciated!
3:39 I think the point was to sit in one’s place or something to that effect.
I think Regina got confused when she found out Janis was "Lebanese."
It’s honestly my favorite movie of all time it’s iconic 💕💕💕💘😭😭👏
DEVIL WEARS PRADA!! Make it happen Tim!!
i love this movie so much because they mention my godfather!! "but you love ladysmith black mambazo!"
i commented on the lion king videos about him too because that's what most people know them from (even if they don't recognize the name) but it was SO EXCITING the first time i watched this movie to hear them talked about "in the wild" like that 😄
I'm a 51 yro straight dude-JUST SAYING THAT CAUSE WASN'T FASHIONABLE BACK IN THE DAY TO BE INTERESTED IN "CHICK FLICKS"-& this is as good as any of the older GOAT comedies I've ever seen!!! I've prob seen it 20 times over yrs cause is ALWAYS dependable entertainment! NOW Y'ALL HAVE TO DO "FREAKY FRIDAY" IF ANY AMONG YOU HAVEN'T SEEN! IS JUST AS ENTERTAINING!!!! Check it out! Great job, friends!🙏❤
See ya!
✌😎
YES for The Devil Wears Prada!!
The Burn Book was such a thing. I sincerely wish I started it in my school haha
The Devil Wears Prada
I used to watch this while in the hospital at ten, i think or 11 years old, not sure. Loved all of your reactions!
Devil wears Prada is a big yes!!!!
Actually, Rachel Mcadams was 25 when they shot this movie, Amanda and Lindsay were both 17 (2 months before Amanda's 18 birthday).
Uploading mean girls reaction on October 3rd? Yea y’all iconic for that ❤😂
Yesss they made me do it!
This movie is so iconic!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
24:10 It’s a hybrid, if my memory serves me right.
I graduated in 95. The groups are accurate, but the lunchroom was pretty much just who your close friends were
12:39 Social Commentary on Halloween that shook our world.
This movie is one of the things that made me glad I didn't go to American high school
YES!!!To Devil Wears Prada! ❤❤❤
My sister made me and my dad watch but lindsy loan lol auto correct
This movie is amazing and very comedic.
another chick flick that you could check out and one of my favs is the sisterhood of the traveling pants, one of my comfort movies☺️☺️
You know, saving your comfy sweat shirt& pants for Wednesdays is rather a great idea as Wednesday is known as "Over the hump day" and frankly wearing your sweats makes it more comfy and relaxing so thanks Regina George for the idea.💗
Bro i can't hold this in i gotta say the main character is hot as hell uh huh huh yeah!!! Those means girls too!!!
Great to see beautiful Clarice back!
A great comedy icon never gets old
22:54 Ngl I’ve done that in front of my mirror 😂
I hate everyone in this fucking movie! Maybe this is why I love this movie
Today is my birthday so thank you so much for this upload❤
You welcome! Hope you enjoy the vid
HAPPY MEAN GIRLS DAY EVERYONE!! OCTOBER 3RD!
There's a version of the Kalteen bar at Dylans Candy Bar
I want to expand on homeschoolers.
I was homeschooled starting at 9 (pulled out of public school). We quickly found out at a homeschool fair (where you but curriculum) that some homeschoolers either are alone and their kids don't socialize. Or they only stick to a very tiny group of other people who (if religious) are of the same religion. These lesser types were the families with kids who were very much left out of the loop of the world. Having a PC meant it was only used for education. No internet. No games. No nothing. Just software for education. This was also early on in the days of DoS and early Windows editions.
The other half of homeschoolers were the amazing kind. It didn't matter if you were religious or not. You joined big groups and it was essentially like being in public school. 2-3 times a week groups would get together to do things like go to a roller skating rink, maybe the zoo or go to a history museum. And of course meetings at parks and what not for outdoor activity. It was great. Our group had between 40-75 kids in it. Usually more around the preteens/teens age.
We had a prom at a rented out party hall. All great memories. It really made a good impression of how homeschooling SHOULD be. I made tons of friends. Had a few crushes. There was also nothing really awkward about boys and girls being together. I mean sure, as teens other feelings started to kick in. But we more or less felt like a big family. Mothers wouldn't openly breastfeed their children and no on batted an eye and no Karens were like "OmG ! My ChILd Is SeEiNg PoRn!!!" lol.
Mind you I am a Christian so I know some of the tiny bubbled groups had tons of super zealot-type Christians. Ironically a lot of the bubbled kids, as adults they left religion and became hard-core rebellious people. Goes to show you can bubble your kid to much and end up creating someone who hates what you raised them with. My parents were strict, but never to the point of being bubbled. I played Moral Kombat at 12 (a shock to some), I saw R rated movies around the same time.
I also got a great education due to my learning style being different than how public school did it. I read hundreds of books year from the library. Was into most every subject (except math). I had so many dream jobs I wanted. Long story short though, had a grand mal seizure and bring injury at 16, messed up my learning and didn't graduate until I was almost 20. Still, I appreciate how hard my parents worked at giving me a great education.
It is true there are also an awful type of homeschooler where the parents literally do nothing with their kids and let them "learn" by doing whatever they want. Watching Nickelodeon all day, play video games all day...etc. These people give homeschooling an even worse name then some hardcore Christian homeschoolers. Fun fact. My best friend in my homeschool years was a hardcore atheist. Which offended some people. We were a good match as friends. We would have some nice talks and never butted heads. Granted he used me in the end to get free stuff and I was to nice and blind to it. Eh. Just how life is.
Sorry for the 10 million-word essay about the subject. I just am very passionate about homeschooling (when done right). Thanks for reading my essay. lol
-edit-
Forgot to note my mom pulled me from school also because I had many health issues and kids kept dumping food, drinks on me. Punching me. Torturing me to the point of I pulled hair out of my head from stress. So for me, school was hell. I hated it. Took me a long time to get over being bullied so much.
I think I do wanna see Clarie again Tim yes.
Gretchen Wieners and Kevin G are my favorites.
This movie is hilarious 😂
on October 3rd, he asked me what day it was.
OMG YOU MISSED “Stop trying to make fetch happen. It’s not going to happen.”
(Then again, it’s a very long reaction so I understand)
Clariss “She’s seeing more of those cracks.”
Me: *Say crack again!*
You need to see PLANET 51 Animated Movie. And I can't wait to see your reaction.
Another great chick flick is Bridesmaids (2011). You should react with your sister and female friend again.
Actually…soon Clariss is going to be his wife! Did you see the announcement video that was uploaded yesterday?
YOOO WE GOT THE SAME GANTLET DUDE
Happy October 3rd
26:21 Aye!!!!!! 😂
11:35 THE REASON WHY WE ARE HERE! #Grool
Such a quotable movie 😂
Conference call ambush’s was a thing in them 90s….
The Devil Wears Prada yess
