This man drives a Rolls and made his own whopper, what a humble act after all he has been through and how far hes made it. What media driven superstar would ever do this? Cheers Mr. Butler
What that police Lieutenant did really touched me. I never heard of such a noble act like that before. Butler spending time in his old hood so that kids can see an alternative to drug dealing is very smart. Nice unique story.
Great example of why role models like him are needed in the communities they come from. So kids have another example of how to be successful versus drugs and crime. Much respect
@Keep it 1k Listen to Butler when he analyzes players and games on FS1 or ESPN. He's articulate. Hustlers disciplined enough to amass any kind of wealth articulate themselves professionally, when it's time. Gucci Mane articulates himself that way during interviews when he's talking business. Gotta have "the mind and the muscle"... nothing wrong with it bruh... It's an asset in life.
Caron has always been a genuine person. He stayed on Mead and I stayed on Grand. Lol. But, being on the Southside back then wasn't as bad as it is now. I'm glad he made it out, and he still comes back to town to help his community out. Much love Caron! 💯

This is really inspiring and the good thing About what he did was not turn back, in the long run he made that LT not regret letting him off and made him proud that he really wanted to do something positive in life
I loved NOC for 2 things. The athlete workouts and the comedy bits, especially the NBA division review which was hella funny. I really hope those come back.
i completely agree with him, poverty, the hood life, it's a cycle. Kids gettin born in the hood, quickly get exposed to all dat shit. The hustlin, the drugs, the money, the gangs, the violence. But like he said, he also saw his older family members, his uncles who hustled bringing money into their house and all dat. When they came back from jail, they got rep for all the drugs, and were like legends, and to a kid, you'd easily fall for that. if you got adults, role models like that settin bad examples for you, a kid is gonna pick that up really quick, cause your still developing, you'll grab onto anything. Then you get into all dat, you go to juvy, you probably ain't taking school seriously at all, caught up in the money and the hustlin. then you go to jail, you start gettin real sentences, or you have kids, and your lifes tied down, and there isn't a future for you. Unless you don't realize that you gotta check yourself, and put work in to change your life, your just gonna be stuck in poverty, and your gonna be puttin your kids into that cycle
I met him at lifetime fitness in Virginia. It was like 2am and I was leaving the locker room and I look up and he walking in. I was star struck haha. My G tough juice
The same thing that made him wake up, made me wake up. Juvenile solitary confinement. I only had a week in "the hole." I'll tell you this, it felt like a lifetime.
I digg him and his change in life and his come up but what I don't digg is how he couldn't digg his hands into a pair of gloves before he made that Whopper 🤔 😂🤣
good story bro shout out to you Caron showing love from Chicago stay active in Racine bro u know we're all the same it's part of Chicago land area as u know how it was back in the keep that same energy bro
This was real and understanding u c him he ain't due do this 4 the camera and hype he don't have a problem saying he had a job he deserve everything that came 2 him out my 27 years this got to b most 1 of the humbleness dude every he rite about everything he saying just show us so we can show them and have faith
If ppl watch this shit it’ll show this is why a lot of young men in these leagues (nba, nfl) go broke. If you listen to his story do you think it’s so easy for him not to spread the love and wealth thru his family who he says raised him up and stay by his side. Even tho they showed him wrong he still made a way from that wrong and found a way to go beyond his downfalls.
i would never endorse or support bk. i hate all fast food business. theres been times where a burger bun fell to the floor and someone would pick it up and serve it. no one says anything b/c it's usually the manager or assistant manager who would do that just to save time on the drive thru. i don't eat the food at all.
I'm Tammy and im from racine and my lil brother gizzy is caron cousin on his dad's side..um but to answer your question..there wasnt any white kids in that part of the city..we didn't and dont discriminate against white people..we love them just the same but its not many white ppl in that part of town in racine..you could literally count on one hand the white ppl that did come around..smh..its a shame ppl always want to make stuff out to be about race..sorry..this wasnt and isnt that at all. Everybody grew up and knew one another in racine

Talking real life situations in this story. Some make it, some don't.
What a powerful story. I wish Bulter much success as he continues to give back to his community.
Great piece! It would also be really cool if he went back and talked to the youth at the detention center he was at too.

All those police for a Ounce of Blow SMH talk about a waste of time
Gzz up
On the set cuz
Someone snitched on him.
Did he just go ahead and touch all the buns and pickles and stuff with his bare hands? Way to reveal the hygiene levels at McDonald's!
*Burger King
Not to defend Burger King (even though i don't even eat there) , but he ate the burger he made - it wasn't given to a customer.
I work at Burger King. It's protocol to wear plastic gloves when making the food. If you look closely all of the cooks had gloves on.
