You're welcome! We are so glad that this pattern helped you on your crochet journey! We apologize for how long this reply took - we took a very long hiatus from RUclips and are just recently getting back into it.
Maggie Weldon love the cross, but sad that cannot really see what you are doing as the yarn/thread is very thin and you are crocheting to far away to see what you are doing :( i am new to crocheting but have done many difficult stitches because i can see exactly where the stitches go and how they are made! thanks for doing the tutorials tho!
Thank you for your feedback on this video. We were away from RUclips for many years and just getting back into it. Maggie is working on creating newer, better videos - this is one of our very old ones. We hope you will still follow us!

I am so sorry to hear about you having a stroke but so glad you are ok and able to crochet still. We have the written pattern here: www.maggiescrochet.com/pages/easter-cross-applique-free-pattern I recommend copy/pasting the text to a word document then printing from there. I hope this helps you out and that you enjoy the pattern.

Hi fatoldladyinpjs, Christina is using a size F-5 Dreamz crochet hook made by Knitter's Pride. It is a polished wood in-line hook that has a deep throat. We love these hooks and they are considered to be some of the best in the industry. You can purchase them at www.maggiescrochet.com. Thanks for watching, and happy crocheting!
Thanks. I dont like wood or plastic they break too easy. Lol Im rough on my hooks. So you're saying the steel ones (like Boye) are called inline and the alumunim ones are called?
It isn't really a matter of what the hooks are made of. They are either in-line or they are not. Here's some information that may help: www.ebay.com/gds/Crochet-Hooks-Buying-Guide-/10000000177631926/g.html

Worst demonstration not for beginners. The way she demonstrates it makes it for someone who has done this before not beginners at all! Very frustrated!

Thanks for the comment about the right end of the yarn to begin with. When I first started crocheting, no one told me and I learned the hard way.
You're welcome!

So on the second attachment you say to join, sl st, then 2 single crochets but you did a double and then a single, what is it?

What brand of hook are you using? Is this wood? Is this an in-line hook?

What does an in-line hook mean?
Hi Yankee Poodle, an in-line hook is the same size from the throat of the head to the thumb rest.
Thanks. I dont like wood or plastic they break too easy. Lol Im rough on my hooks. So you're saying the steel ones (like Boye) are called inline and the alumunim ones are called?

And then at 16:40 you did a single crochet when I’m sure you meant to do a slip stitch. 🤔
