Great video as usual, Brother Harvey. A couple things: 1. Why do people insist on mailing heavy stereo equipment with no padding? I feel your pain. 2. Three cheers for your friend, Benji, a man who appreciates the value of Styrofoam. Bravo Benji! 3. I was stationed in Keflavik, Iceland in '89-90. I still wonder WTF kind of addictive narcotics they used in their ice cream. Crack? Meth? Your collection of IPICCs (Icelandic plastic ice cream containers) clearly shows your impeccable discernment of fine dairy products, Brother Harry. Keep these videos coming!

Thanks Matt bro, the NAD amp came from a neighbour but she dropped it on the edge when she picked it up as she forgot how heavy it was, but generally some people don't give a damn on how they send delicate gear, except Benji, top man all the way. The Ice cream, lol.

Nice gift Harvey, I have the 'big boy' NAD 3150 with the twin transformers.. I usually just permanently stabilise cracks like that from the inside using superglue sprinkled with bicarbonate of soda.. Super glue nearly always leaves a kinda white mist on surfaces so I don't use it where it's visible.. Andy could have plastic welded it for you with his ALDI soldering iron..lol

That's a very good idea, i'll try that and try and take off the old glue on the surface with some meths....carefully, lol. Andy plastic welding with the Aldi soldering iron, enough said about that, lol. ps. Can you email me, address on my about page, need to have a chat, I can send you a Google Meet link ?

Good little mid 90s amp the 302, only 35w if i remember rightly but very punchy for a budget NAD.

custom made wooden side panels would hide the crack but as it's on the side it's hardly noticeable would look good in a rack with a tinted glass door

I'm sure I can do a better job, the two sections met perfectly at first, lol.

Nice Amp I used to have a NAD3020 wish I still had it it was a great amp and you could separate the power amp and preamp

Same with this model Benji, you can seperate the pre amp from the main but I need to find the proper bridge links. At the moment there is a twin phono to phono lead, looks terrible and introduces noise into the amp.
