Fallout 76: A Cabin in the Woods

- Hey everyone! Today's camp build is the hunters Lodge pre-fab with a twist. I added a third floor, another deck section and a sunroom to the upper deck. Made a porch swing using power connectors. I merged the stone fireplace with the fake fireplace using the trick from my tutorial.
The stone countertop was done using a special blueprint from@MoonlightCowboyGaming to place it without the fireplace. I had to use free cam to place it inside the lodge's foundation! Don't ask me how, it just works! I merged the old west bar counter with the tile counter to give it the wood countertop. Came out looking okay.
The third floor and sunroom were done using a modified version of an "anywhere wall" blueprint from @aussie_kitty_kat.

Thank you! The stairs are fairly simple to do and you NEED catwalks to do it. A stair post blueprint that can be placed anywhere is the key.
To make the bp, snap a short post to a foundation. Next, snap another short post to the top of the post. Remove the bottom post and the top post will float. Take a small floor decor item such as the mochi, Mr Pebbles plushie, jars or the small ornaments from Spin the Wheel event and place it in the spot the where you removed the post. Replace the post you removed back in it's original location. Make a bp of the floor decor and the two posts. You can now place posts anywhere with that blueprint. To place the stairs, use the blueprint and snap a catwalk to the top post. Then, snap the stairs to the catwalk. Delete the posts and catwalk to leave the stairs.

@@greengrass28g I finally tried and when I try to place the stairs it says "selected item is floating"
@@Moonlight_shine7 Make sure you are using the regular stairs and not a skin version. Place a rug, not a mat, where the bottom of the staircase will be. That will solve the floating issue.

this is an amazing build! I'm having a lot of trouble finding a spot that will let me merge the fireplace to the lodge, Could you let me know where this is or another location that would work outside of the greens of whitespring?
Thanks! Glad you like it. This is located near Solomon's Pond east of where the Super Mutant Behemoth spawns. This is a very uneven location. I have placed the lodge at every location I tried on two characters. When you place the fireplace on the conduit, make sure you have the conduit closer to the right side of the fireplace and not near the center as in the tutorial. The pre-fab seems to place with less issues when the conduit is closer to the right edge of the foundation. Also, try zooming out as far as possible in free cam when placing the lodge on the conduit.
