That's what they did in Generations for the 3 Classic levels. They stayed very close to the original for Classic Gameplay. And for modern levels the same happened for Modern Sonic.
This is amazing. It keeps the whole vibe of the original (which was perfect), but adds things the original composers would probably have done if they hadn't been limited by the Mega Drive's capabilities. Nice new jack swing vibe. I like.

I'm hearing musical concepts from Power Plant portrayed in a more ominous way, and it sounds pretty cool (concepts like fluctuating energy in the remix which are like engines, gauges or storage tanks filling up, elements of slight intensity and uncertainty, and the portrayal of technology and unusual territory in the instrumentation and rhythms)

Well I was thinking if you can do a classic remix of both Techno Tower Zone and Amazing Arena Zone (Both the Labyrinth and New Moon, mind you) from Knuckles Chaotix for the Sega 32x. Believe me, I've tried looking for a classic remix versions and none of them were any good in my book and I figured you were the only guy I know who does amazing works on classic remixes.

I love how eerie this song is.. Even the dead silence drop around 1:03 helps build the tension. Giving this kinda uneasy yet exciting atmosphere.
