Another amazing video posted by MawGT love the video the quality and sound are good even when cars went past it didn’t get that loud. keep up the good work can’t wait for the next video 🤙🏼
Great follow up! Love the real world example. This should work well in more populated areas for stuff like bikes, luggage, etc. I think over time the FMD network will get better, and the moto tag has UWB built in for future-proofing. I'm glad you posted this 👍
Thanks! Yeah I think it's only up from here and I'm excited to see what other trackers we get this year. Definitely looking forward to testing the UWB functionality when it comes out too.
Lets also hope ppm enable the low traffic All areas settling, as that makes the find my device network as good as airtags, only needing a single passerby with a android to go by
@tippership 35 seconds ago The one thing to remember, is that the default setting is for Android text to work only in high traffic areas. You have to go into settings ,the Google settings, find my device, find your offline devices, then set it to all areas so it works in areas including low traffic areas where only one person goes by with an Android phone and it will send an update over the network. The default setting of high traffic areas means it will not send out an update unless multiple people go by close enough with Android phones. That was the only thing missing from this review, which otherwise is the most comprehensive and detailed review. Checking all of the settings I have seen thus far on RUclips! Funny enough. I also just got a pack of Mototags. Hopefully people start to configure their phones for a low traffic, they have to manually do it though. And of course iPhones don't participate in this process at all. So your friend's phone would not have done anything unless it was a Apple Air tag. Funny enough if it had been, iPhones by default Will send up dates even if only a single device goes by. Sadly, that's not the default that Google's Network is set to on Android phones Awesome job with this reveal, it is literally the most expansive and comprehensible one thus far. I wish all reviews on these tags were this thorough. I look forward to one day update UWB so we can get an arrow pointing towards our mono tags, if though I know it might depend on having a pro phone so I might be out of luck with my 8a lol
Yup, I did have it set to all areas and just forgot to show that in the video. Thanks for pointing that out! It's definitely important that people do that to make the network better. I do wish Google and Apple would further their partnership to allow iPhones to ping Find My Device trackers and vice versa, as it would just benefit everyone. Thank you for your feedback, I hope to keep making videos as detailed as this!
There's a mount for it on the frame of the bike near the pedals. I have a video titled "Checking Out the Motorola Moto Tag! (Unboxing, Setup, and Accessories" on the channel where I go over it in more detail towards the end of the video if you're interested!
Thank you! This was a very useful and informative video. Good work 🙂

Great video thanks! Where did you put the tracker?
