Thanks for the ranking! Don’t hear too much about nightmare room on booktube so it’s awesome to have input. I have 1-11 and the last of thrillogy so I’m gonna have to start reading and now I know which ones are better than others! Sometimes good reads isn’t good enough for reviews and helping pick a book to read

This is an underrated series that definitely doesn't have enough attention / coverage!

I haven't read much nightmare room books wasn't in my library 😂😭. But I feel like the stories are familiar and remember some covers. Definitely would love to read some of other RLStine works

Full moon halloween and they call me creature are really gross. I agree with your #1, locker 13 is the best book. I wish we had more stories about hard work trumping luck. Its the reason i love scare school is that the protagonists in both books are very proactive.

One thing I've noticed is how as each Nightmare Room book progresses, they get slightly duller and duller. It kind of feels like R.L. Stine was still willing to write Goosebumps, but couldn't. I think that HarperCollins told him to write 12 books, but did 9 and wanted to conclude with Thrillogy.

hey austin , i really love intensity and midnight (first half) by dean koontz- as they kept me on the edge of my seat in suspense. please recommend me any 3-5 books that can provide me with a similar experience of relentless danger .
    thanks

Not sure that any book matches the level of suspense of Intensity!
Misery by Stephen King is very suspenseful. That's all I can think of off the top of my head 😅
