- Unlocking the Peacekeeper from start to finish.
If you have not already, I encourage you to solve for the Peacekeeper.
It is a lot of fun and makes it a game within a game.
You need to unlock the Beginning, Omen, Conflict, Angel Sighting, and Belly of the Beast dog tags, as well as the Escalation skin to complete the Peacekeeper quest. If you don't have these unlocked, you will just die in the mineshaft over and over again.
The dog tags can be completed on different days, you don't have to do this whole thing in one go.
You can complete any of the dog tags or unlock the Escalation skin in any order you want, but all must be complete before entering the mineshaft. The Escalation skin is for the M1917 MG, so if you don't have this gun unlocked, you will need to unlock it to have it for the mine step. You can also borrow the gun from a friend that has the escalation skin equipped so you can skip this step. You don't need to have the gun equipped while solving other puzzles, only for the last step.
The Beginning dog tag color Morse code stations can be completed on different days. When you get the headphones and activate the Morse code, it will not change until you find the symbol, so you can take a break and come back to find the next symbol or decipher the next color. Once you have recorded the Morse Code at the color station, you can immediately leave the game to decipher the message.
The Omen, Conflict dog tags, and unlocking the Escalation skin MUST be completed in one go.
The Morse code at Albion(Escalation skin) and Zeebrugge(Omen) must be deciphered during the game. If you leave before completing the escalation skin or the Omen tag, the Morse code will change and you have to start all over. Solving for the floor puzzle at Soissons(Conflict) must also be completed in one go. If you leave at any time, you will have to start all over.
Your Morse code results will be different (unless I say otherwise), but this is just a guide on how I solved my own codes.
To record the Morse Code, I simply put my smartphone next to the game speaker and recorded a video of about 30 seconds. Then I uploaded the video to my computer and played it back at 0.25 speed and wrote down all the dots and dashes. Some people have uploaded their videos to RUclips to slow down the video. Some people have used Audacity to help decipher the Morse code for you instead of writing it down. Some people have used Morse code decipher apps, but no clue how reliable they are.
If you're on PC, you could also use video capture software to record Morse code instead of your smartphone. (I don't know if consoles have recording features that can assist you.)
You can use any of the 9 original maps on the guide to find headphones.
Use Conquest game mode to open the entire map. When selecting a map, make sure the player count is set to "All" to find empty servers. You could also try setting the server region to other continents if you can't find maps in your region. For this video, I rented a private server. You have to pay a small fee, but you can at least kick people who join.
It does not matter if its during a game, or pre-round.
It does not matter if it's a DICE server or private server, as long as the private server is not password protected.
Headphones appear randomly at specific places where they spawn, and sometimes not at all. Just restart the map and try again if you can't find them. Use the BF1 Game Detectives Guide to help locate where the headphones and symbols are located for each map.
If you die with the headphones, they will re-spawn back were you found them.
* Please note that internet deciphers and other helpful apps for solving puzzles can change since this video was made. For the Soissons candle light app, you can just internet search "BF1 candle solver" or something similar for an alternative.

A few more things I forgot to mention. In the mineshaft when you fall down to the next level, sometimes you die which is frustrating. I found that when you stand over the hatch that opens up, stand slightly to the side on one of the hatch doors that opens. I did that in this video and it worked thankfully.
For the Albion 5 letter Morse Code, it is the most difficult to record/decipher. To get the best results, play on a map that has clear weather. Any wind noise can interfere with hearing the Morse code. Go prone next to the antenna with the game volume turned up high. The Morse code is already playing when you approach the antenna, which is normal. Listen for the gap in the message. That is the clue that the message ends and will begin again. It's brief, but its noticeable if you listen to it long enough. That's when you can start recording/writing down the correct sequence for your 5 letters for the lighthouse. The letters will only be a combination of A, B, C, D, E, F and nothing else. It you get a different letter, you messed up somehow.
@@operator6438 No, every Morse Code is different, I am just showing what I did to decode my personal message. Refer to the BF1 game detectives guide to help you find the location you need to go to to find the Symbol to unlock the next Morse code color.
Question, is there a time limit? For example, if I get one of the Morse codes can I wait overnight and still use it?
@@Host_has_been_found Interesting. If you decipher a Morse code and you find the location you need to find the symbol, it technically should not change. Deciphering the Morse code, exiting the game, and coming back is not something I tested. You have to see for yourself. If it doesn't work, you may have to activate the Morse code to activate the symbol again, but its my guess.
@@kmancometh hmm, I'm going to submit my recording to BFEE and see if I can find the symbol and tell you
@@operator6438 I actually already unlocked the peacekeeper a few days ago but thank you nonetheless
There's something incredibly paranormal about WW1 and Bf1 captured it perfectly
Just the horror and th human aspect were done so well
Its funny cause i came to the comments to see if anyone thought the same way and sure enough you do my friend! Its like very paranormal. Its scary.
Going through these steps in empty maps all alone by myself gave me the creeps. I kept hearing footsteps, faint whispers and distant yells in in the ambient audio. There is something distinctly unsettling about being alone in these maps after being so used to constantly being around allies and enemies and hearing the constant explosions and small arms fire around.
@@jakej2680 that's how our veteran feels their ptsd
It was an era when many gruesome things were done both in and out of the battlefield. Who knows what abominable things the great powers have done during the course of the war. It could truly inspire a lot of horror stories.
This video is golden, it took me about 8 hours to do the Morse code section because I’m on console and had a crappy app that decoded the right letters half the time
Thanks, I have done the peacekeeper 3 times now. I first tried the Jackfrags way of using software, but I said screw that and just recorded the audio with my smartphone and played it back slow.
@@kmancometh I had trouble understanding it playing it back at half speed, I can’t believe there are and were people who can understand it full speed
@@bullymaguire1087 I takes like a week to be fluent.
I may be late to the party but is there any good Morse code decoding app?
@@vibecheck4372 It worked the best for me to learn the morse code alphabet. And to listen to it at 0.25 speed, then writing it down.
This video accompanied me during my journey in the road to the Peacekeeper. Such a relief to unlock the gun after hours of puzzles. Thanks for this video.
I’ll do it today but i have to ask you , did you do just like him ? Or the puzzles will change ?
@@meshal0hd893 For the ‘A Beginning’ tag, 8 out of 9 Morse codes are unique for every player except for the last one. Same goes to ‘A Conflict’ tag. The pattern on the floor will be different every round. The ‘An Escalation’ 5 letter combination on the Morse code too is unique to every player. Just be on an empty server with the correct map and you will be fine. You can follow the methods to solve the Easter Eggs in the video but the answers will be different from yours to mine. All the best.
This is BY FAR the best possible guide out there. I’ve been putting this off for years and finally found this video. SUPER straightforward and gives you everything you need.
Are the codes different for everyone or can you do it just like this?

Does this all have to go down in conquest???
Unlocked this today, was great fun doing the missions & tags. The hardest parts were the sandbags and pillars on Soissons (see below) and getting through the caves on Passchendaele at the end. The orange lights morse was tough to work out but doable. Recommend getting the headsets from Ballroom every time as they were the easiest to locate.
Fun story here - Soissons then, I do the lights no problem and I'm looking at the bags and contemplating how the hell to do it all when someone joins the server and comes over to me. Uh oh I'm thinking, he's going to ruin it all.... But no, he machine guns out the grid, machines guns my bag locations in to the grid then does the pillar lights for me whilst I stand there rather gobsmacked. He then shows me the two final pillars to press & off he goes...
So there are heroes out there you see & if you're reading this S9K9S from Iraq on Xbox you're an absolute legend.
On the caves part I died a few times and then read that the best thing to do is to stand to one side of the trap door and aim in the next compass direction, press the lever then hit run as you fall through. This limits the fall damage and helps you get ahead of the gas.
I had S9K9S help on a another easter egg while i was planning to do it solo so props to him
@@KissaKassKot He's a legend for sure, such a top Gent.
I’d like to get this weapon. Although I can’t find empty servers.
Do I have to rent a server and just jump maps each time?
@@jasontorres3986 Look for Conquest servers in Japan/South America/Africa/Australia with all the highest amount of open slots. There's tons of them where you can do this without harassment.
@@sitaylor Thanks man!
I have an Xbox, does that change any factors?
Or it’s all the same?
Knew about these Easter eggs since early in the release, put about 300 hours into the game before they shall not pass dropped and stopped playing shortly after. Just getting back into it as bfv and 2042 were not what I wanted from the game and have always loved having items few other players have in game, glad to see people are still enjoying the easter eggs and hopefully the game. This one really deserved to be the best selling battlefield despite my frustrations with it, great game, great video, thank you.
not to say its a great second hand weapon LOL, im really addicted to this game and i wanted to play the anihilator or something like that lol, this revolver is gonna be needed
And here I am happy that I have the martini sniper after 300 kills. Level of complexity of this whole thing is unfathomable to me

This guide is so unbelievably good. Just got the peacekeeper today after almost 8 hours of playtime. Legendary guide, definite like and sub
Got the peacekeeper a few days ago, thank you so much for the guide 😊.
I find audacity a lot better than just recording and listening to morse while slowing it down, especially for the escalation skin easter egg.
Thank you so much for this, your guide helped me a lot on the Conflict dogtag
Just got it an hour ago... what an adventure. Thank you very much for this and I will never get tired of those animations! :D
Thanks a lot for the help dude just got it there, I felt a sense of euphoric achievement I haven’t felt in years after completing the mansion puzzle, two players joined during my attempt and I was so worried they’d ruin it but they must’ve respected the dedication and left me alone
Three whole days of working on this easter egg with 6 attempts and this video is the one that finally helped me, thank you man.
one of the most helpful moments starts at 33:24 . this video is awesome! thanks!
Really nice guide my guy, it helped me finish this whole chain of easter eggs at last.
Thanks a lot for the guide! I managed to get the morse code part done in 3-4 hours and tomorrow I think I should be able to get most of the rest done. Super helpful.
I'm also surprised how fun the puzzles are, I only discovered today that bf1 had such elaborated easter eggs.

I just got it after a roughly 16 hours, thank you for the guide man I appreciate it a lot
Dude I love you, you made it so much easier than a jackfrags video.
Man! My respects to those that went through this grind.
Thank you so much, I got it! Couldn't have done it without your help, amazing guide.
Too much effort put in this video, I got my revolver today thanks to you, you deserve more subs, and thank you for the help bud. 🤘
Just wanted to say that you are a credit to this game and platform for such a great guide.
I got it! thank you so much for the clear and concise guide. I never would have figured this stuff out on my own
Thanks for the guide. I tried it years ago and gave up, only doing the 1917 skin and the conflict dogtag. I decided to just go for it and got the others done within around 2-3 days. I was dying to fall damage in the mines while getting the peacekeeper, but after learning that you should stand on the switch, it helped out a lot.
Thank you so much this video helped out a ton! Took me aprox 6 hours if you do not count breaks. The Angel one gave me shivers, didn't help that it was 3am too lol.
👍
I've come back to pay tribute. I've already got 20 service stars with the peace keeper and I can confirm that face melting unsuspecting enemies never gets old.
@@b-b-baka yo how did ya deal Morse code I can't seem to decode it

Just unlocked all of them using your video! Thanks a lot, everyone working on this are fking geniuses !!!
This guide is fantastic, got me through the whole process for myself. Thank you
Thank you so much! Even after 2 years it‘s the best guide for this!
just got the peacekeeper using your guide thank you very much!
This was insane just to watch. I cant even imagine doing this. How th someone figured this out is beyond insane.
Yeah this shit is probably the most schizophrenic Easter Egg I’ve ever seen. I can’t imagine figuring this out without digging into the code. Even then having to record clear audio and have the ability to translate Morse Code to English, as well as cracking ciphers are insane requirements.
@@My10thAccountThe cipher for an Escalation is so weird. They must’ve spend weeks data-mining to find it.
I DID IT! Thanks for all the help, I almost quit when the river switch didn't appear, but a second limpet solved that. Great ending too.
To be honest?? The morse codes aren't that hard, I was reeeeally lazy years ago when this was discovered but I've finally decided to give it a try, and your method of recording it and listening to it with 0.25 speed and pitch makes it a cakewalk, plus damn it's actually fun and you kinda feel like some kind of spy or specialist hahaha. Awesome guide man, you've completely changed my mind from saying "nah this is too much to be worth it" to actually enjoying it!!
I register the screen and then convert it to mp3 to get the codes, but the codes are not clear. I use the audacity application audacity
I just unlocked the peacekeeper today so thank you for this guide man, took a lot of effort and luck to get it but I’m glad it’s over, probably the hardest Easter egg I’ve ever done, thank you
Can you get it for free?
@@Realjit387 I think you need all the dlc’s
Thank you so much for the guide, can't tell you how much it helped!
Kmanlessthan, I must ask because I have heard conflicting information. For the dog tag conflict do I need to be on a ranked, un-passworded server or can I buy my own server and unlock it? After many times of doing the beginning dog tag I constantly ran the risk of someone joining while I was doing the morse code. Thankfully the few moments where they did, I had already solved what I needed and just backed out to find the symbol. I just want to make sure cause it appeared to me that you were on a custom server and if this is an option, I'm more than willing to take it. Please get back to me when you can.
You can use both a DICE or private server, during pre round or during a match. I did this video with a private server with preround disabled. I did that for other reasons, but it doesn't matter like I said. However, you cannot password protect your server or it will not work. If someone does join, simply kick them.
@@kmancometh Ah ok thank you. I'll be doing the omen dog tag next and ill be referencing this comment and the tool for the candle puzzle as well for the video. I truly can't wait to finally unlock the peacekeeper
Last one for me is the Beginning, what is the best time to record these codes since they're the longest? Does the entire thing need to be done in one sitting?
No, each Morse code can be done at different days. When you decipher the code and find the symbol it will unlock the next color code which you can do at a different time.
Thanks to you man I finally got the PEACEKEEPER. Thank you!
Thank you so much for this video, finally got mine today. Conflict tag was a pain
Hey would you mind helping me with this im on oc as well. Everytime i try i just give up in the middle of the solve becuase the number layouts on the conflict is confusing me and i was wondering if you can help me with the conflict dog tag
The conflict tag does take the longest to achieve. What is confusing? Is the number grid not making sense?
I lost my first Morse code after I found the headset, I didn’t record it because people started to join my server. Is there a way to find the location of the first symbol? Or reset the tag?
The Morse code will not change colors until you find the symbol. You can do the Morse code over again. If you screw up recording or deciphering the Morse code, just restart a new map and try again.
Thanks man! I've been trying to unlock it on my own but i couldn't do it. 3 days of puzzles but it was an amazing feeling when i unlocked the gun and played with it. The conflict took like 6 hours lol.
finally completed this after a couple of days, thanks for your help!
jesus christ man, i like battlefield 1, but all that for a fricking revolver is frustrating
I agree but I am about to torture myself getting it.
expect a conflict dog tag the other ones were easy to do. i had so much fun doing it
Is there a way to do the conflict tag without drawing that kind of chart? I'm not the drawing type and I'm a bit aggravated at the moment.
The goal is to find where the sand bags are on the 8x8 grid. There is no set way of solving this, but it takes time to find all the grid numbers in order you to find what lights your grid needs to be lite up.
@@kmancometh I have finally figured it out, and claimed the peacekeeper

@@bpapao what are you talking about man, this is so cool. I love puzzles like this
Hey! So I stumbled across this video again while scrolling. Just wanted to say thanks for the help! I got it like a few months ago, maybe around December? But the video helped a lot. Two random strangers joined my game and helped with the sandbag one, guess I got lucky...
Just got it today, thanks a lot for your help, the gun is great!!
So I tried doing this on Albion for Escalation with VLC player on X.25 speed, there is no way to hear this without the background noise (artillery) that towers over the morse code. It made it nearly impossible to tell the difference between the dots and dashes with the silent gap between them pretty much being non-existent.
This is the hardest Morse code to record because of how faint it is. What I told someone else is to make sure the weather is sunny and clear so there is minimal map noise. Go prone next to the antenna where the signal is the strongest, and turn your game volume up very high. That's the the best way to hear the signal.
@MayanBrian Already got the gun back in March.
@@gfreeman7871 nice, the way I did it was put the audio into audacity and view the sound waves as a spectrogram so I can see the morse code in the audio as clear as it can be. The background noise sometimes distorts the image but I could definitely see the gap that indicates that the sequence has started over. So I recorded for like 2 minutes to increase chances of getting one sequence that is the least distorted. It took me 2 tries.
The yellow morse code is bugged for me
it just says first rule rembember first rule rember and so on all the time.
can anyone help me pls?
Amazing guide, thank you so much. Made it a breeze, relatively.
Finally i got this beautiful weapon! This video helped me very much
i would recommend not sprinting in the mineshaft because it actually makes you slower
I didn't know you could sprint, I thought the game forced you to walk the tunnels?
@@kmancometh you can sprint but the animation is different and it makes you slower than the normal walking speed. I died everytime i went through the mines until i realized that
this is insane. Maybe if I really start to enjoy BF I'll unlock this, but... seriously? If I understand correctly, all of this is just for one revolver.
I have so many questions...
Yes it is insane and is for a revolver, but it has great animations that almost no other gun has, and also had some pretty good damage as well
The revolver is a reference to Revolver "Revolver Ocelot" Ocelot (Revolver Ocelot) from Revo- i mean Metal Gear Solid
best guide , top tier content man
Thanks to you I got the peacekeeper in one day! Great vid
How much time did the peacekeeper take to do from zero?
Good question, depends on several factors.
Depends if you are on console/PC
If you have people interfering with your progress.
How fast you can find headphones.
How the method of deciphering Morse code.
knowing where the symbols are.
If you screw up and die in the mineshafts, that requires to start the map all over again
You don't have to do this in one setting, however, things like solving for the escalation skin, and solving the grid puzzle requires to finish from start to finish in one go.
The grid puzzle might take a good hour alone.
So I'd say 3 hours minimum if you know what you are doing.
But, Id say this shouldn't deter you because it is fun soling puzzles and it offers you to play a game within a game.
It took me like 5 hours
Wow and I thought a lot of the exotic weapon requirements in Destiny 1 and 2 were tedious...
Took me like 8 hours but it was worth it.
Thanks for the guide!
Finally managed to do the conflict today! Thank you for the tips man
teacher : the test is easy
the test:
I have an idea, what if you listen to Morse code then check all default maps on all the places the symbols may be. Yeah that way easier for me,I hope it is for you.
Edit: I got the Peacekeeper and it's Codex entry yesterday, now for 100 kills with it for the final dotag An Awakening and 25 headshots with it for the Codex entry named Wellington House.
When you did it did you have to go listen to the audio everytime then go to a new map?
@@nicolasnivolianitis824 Yes
@@thecommentingt34 That's gotta be worse bro.. but I'm considering it, especially at Orange
Amazing guide, i just unlocked it. Thank you so much.
Just an headsup for those who are trying it now, the Morse code are unique to each player in a server, the codes in the video will never be the same.
You'll get a dogtag only in EA official servers not from private servers
If the server resets after many players join the server you'll lose your progress and have to start from the beginning.
Make sure you're in server with low pings...high pings usually mess up the interactions with the keys.
Deciphering Morse code is bit easy than this if you follow jackfrag tutorial. It uses an application that converts the recorded Morse code audio file to a format where you can actually view the dots and dash
And yes you can finish all dogtags alone if you follow them right but takes lot of time.
If you feel kind of stuck and helpless.. reach out to people in discord in bf1 community..I heard people do really help others who are trying to get dogtags
#HappyHunting 😀
I actually used private server to complete this Easter egg. As long as it is not password protected, it works, and as a bonus you can kick people that join.
@@kmancometh that's good.. I remember jackfrag particularly mentioning about this so I didn't want to take risk as it takes ages to complete one
I really feel like this is just way to complicated for what you get. Like this isn't an Easter egg this is just a very complex puzzle. You should be able to just do the last parts and that's it for the gun. This is so so so dumb
