Mitch, I heard of “Skins” when I was in high school, not knowing it was released when I was in the 6th-7th grade (back in 07-08 in the USA), and never watched it. I just watched the first two seasons a few days ago and I fell in love with Maxxie. I’m honestly sad I didn’t get to experience it when it first came out because your character would have tremendously helped me out as a young closeted boy trying to figure himself out; but even watching it at 28 years old, you somewhat healed that 11-12 year old boy who needed validation and reassurance. It brought me back to that age and delivered a sense of comfort. Although I had no idea who you were until this week, thank you for portraying something so genuine without being a stereotype; I hope you understand what Maxxie did for alot of people in a time when we were still discriminated and unaccepted. YOU did that🥹♥️ I hope life is treating you well and I hope we can see more of you on screen with the talent you possess. Stay happy mate, much love x 🤙🏽

Maxxie was a great friend to everyone and was there for Tony in his hour of need. You also got to see lots of his talent and creativity which was really cool.
