I was using this gun today and it’s honestly not that bad. Much more refreshing using ALL of the guns in the game and not just the mcw like everybody else

The gun itself is pretty solid at very close ranges. In fact, it received a buff for longer ranges, removing its 7 shot kill and making an infinite 6 shot. They should really buff the shorter ranges or slightly improve the multipliers to get a better 4 shot potential at short to mid ranges.
(Its ranges are still very poor. Its like smg ranged with AR handling. They should just make it an smg and imrpove handling at this point. )
It really is a SMG in function IRL too, minus the caliber. It's whole point is to be what is now known as a PDW, which is the category of weapons you see the MP7 and P90 in.
Such a dumb idea to not put it in the SMG category originally and balance it properly as such, although I guess there isn't really much that can be done since it is a MW2 weapon.
In a game where virtually everyone is using an MCW, its quite refreshing seeing Handler using the game's whole arsenal, showing most of them are still usable...
I’m not a huge COD fan, but the skill handler has with his attitude and demeanor, in a game famous for its toxicity, is incredibly inspiring and fun to watch

M&K just always felt more rewarding. Still does. I've experienced this as a car guy. Auto is now faster that manual. If I were to make a comparison to CoD, each player is a different model car. In a match between equally skilled players, the controller comes out on top. Less room for error and heroic reaction times when it comes to hitting a peek. If Handler was a car, he's obviously in a league of his own. Or a Hyperclass model. Yeah, that. A Koenigsegg CC850.
I’d say, strictly in S&D, there are certain maps and routes where the AK74u is viable. In its first damage range, it has a genuinely fast time to kill for an assault rifle, but it drops off rather quickly so dropping the 45 round mag and focusing more on giving the gun better recoil characteristics instead of trying to balance recoil control with better mobility is the play. This gun in-particular plays much more like a submachine gun, in a game that caters to AR’s, so I think it’s important to decide what you plan on doing with the gun. If you absolutely must use a silencer, which isn’t my preferred choice for this gun, the silentstrike, xten phantom 5, demo X2 grip, otrezat stock and high velocity ammo works pretty well, although I would switch the demo x2 for the truetac on maps like skidrow or favela. Unsilenced, I would swap the silentstrike for either the corvus slash gen 2 (if you have great recoil control), sakin tread 40 (if you have okay recoil control) or the jak bfb (if you cant control recoil well/want a lazerbeam). If you run the jak bfb, I would switch the underbarrel to the dr6 or edge handstops, and I would most likely run the truetac rear grip with any of these nonsurpressed barrels. Overall, this gun is not meta, but can definitely cause issues, I’d give it a 6.8/10.

@@shadowtitan8545 Yup, which is disappointing. It's in the sorta same spot as the Cronen Squall, 4 shot kill but fire rate is okay, recoil is ehh, and the big issue is (compared to Bas-B) even with a headshot it won't kill in 3 bullets.
It's not bad bad tho imo, not like Riveter with Slugs haha
@@WayAlpha101 I was really disappointed to find out the cronen squall just isn't very competitive even after the buffs the bas overshadows almost everything.
Made a class a few days ago and it’s honestly one of my favorite guns I’ve gotten a few hacker accusations already definitively better than most mw3 guns

The fact they are buffing MW2 guns is good, they’re starting to shape up and more gun variety is good. I’d be down for more people finding out about the M13b, Chimera or M16. There’s nothing wrong with enjoying MW2 guns, we’re not getting duplicates after all.
I really wish they would’ve scraped the mw2 guns, and added some of the same guns back like the mp5, mp7, and 74u for example with the lessened visual recoil of mw3, and the higher damage. This carry over thing was an interesting idea, but I feel like it not the best execution.
That one shot at the beginning was just brutal.

The AK-74u turned from the best gun in the game, to a just usable gun in MW3, I think the biggest reason is that it does not have a good attachments for MW3. Almost all guns in MW3 has long barrels with no ADS speed penalty, making MW3 smgs maintain relatively high mobility with ok range. The AK-74u however, only has one long barrel that makes the gun super slow. In the meantime, you can use the Striker45, make it really fast and still have better 4 shot range and recoil then the AK-74u.
Also, I want you to try out the M16, it got hella nerfed, just when I thought it will absolutely suck, I found out that is has better range and faster fire rate then DG-56 and FR.56, so I slapped on the new muzzle attachment (it's called JAK BFB or smth) and tried it out. It still has the same problem -- terrible visual recoil, but I dropped 39 kills on high rise in tdm with minimal deaths, I didn't camp at the back though, I went all in

Yes it is so good with the small build.the movement is crazy good. Is a lot to handle at long rang so you have to move quick

I'm a big fan of the mw2 guns but I never got around to buying the game, so now I have mw3 and the grind for mw2 guns is such a pain. I'm still level 51 ;-;

It's pretty decent in warzone with the right build. A lot of the mw2 guns are low-key pretty good still. May not be super meta but can be very viable or competitive.
M4 was buffed at the start of S1 and has been shredding ever since
the M13B and MP7 have been my sleeper picks that i really enjoy still
