This combination cell phone tripod and selfie stick weights 12 oz and is 12.5 inches long and 1.5 inches in diameter when closed. It extends an impressive 55 inches, and three legs fold out of the sides in tripod mode.
In selfie-stick mode, the handle (which is made up of the tripod legs) feels a bit long (it's almost 12 inches) but you just grab it near the top so your finger can reach the bluetooth shutter button.
When using it in tripod mode, the shutter button detaches from the handle and you carry it with you to take photos.
The spring grip / tension phone holder worked well for my phone in a case and had plenty of extra room for larger phones or larger cases. It is able to rotate 360 degrees around and 180 degrees forward/back, so you can position your phone vertically or horizontally and generally aim it in any direction.
The plastic feels strong, the aluminum six element extension pole takes a little effort to slide in and out, but this means that it holds its position at any extension (there are no locks to worry about having to engage/disengage).
This feels like a middle of the road product. It's a little nicer than the low end super cheap plastic stuff, but not at the "pro" "fiber infused nylon" end of the product curve. The price feels appropriate for what you get.
