This is one of the songs that saved my life. I was feeling so low and I only wanted death… then I started searching for a deeper healing and I’m lucky I found Red Eagle & so many more beautiful people who bring pride, love and strength to get back up when we hit rock bottom. This song is powerful medicine for the soul. Thank yous for watching, sharing and talking about this song 🧡

I teared up at the mention of Trail of Tears 😭 and seeing the woman smudge herself at the end was so cool to see!

Nice! If you want to hear some more native hip-hop I recommend the song Witrapaiñ by Portavoz and Luanko, they are from Chile and they sing/rap partly in Spanish and partly in native Mapuche language.

just came across this im native . just a little history . the buffalo soldiers 1877 around there . got that name from the natives thats the nick name the natives gave them. but the sad thing was those soldiers came there as troops to kill natives and kill off the buffalo to take the food from the native along with all the other uses we had for buffalo. Then the US cavalry more less left the buffalo soldiers out there. The natives the same people that they got sent to kill took them in to save them .

Thank you for that bit of history lesson. Always wondered how the Buffalo Soldiers came about.

I love this song.. one of my favorites..it touches and gives awareness to what happens on the "rez" ... But there's still so much love for our people . And it's crazy when people say "get over it". But we can't because its still happening .. ...but ain't it crazy though ??.us natives are STILL HERE ...THRIVING ..ain't that crazy ?? 😅😅😅☺️☺️☺️❤️❤️❤️❤️
