I think it might be more optimal to play Astroea Bico Masques as a finisher when your opponent is at 4-5 dmg. Otherwise stay Astroea Unica for the crit and triple drive to set up your kill turn.
Agreed, if you can see 3 crits It really comes down to board state and I believe every transition from unica to bico was the correct choice considering the board state (except the turn with 0 cb, probably should have rode and stayed on unica but I wanted to do something cool lol)
Man if you pull 2 of the cycle cards in your opening hand with Almajestar and you soul charge a crit. with the full ride line you plus a total of 5 cards, thats pretty nuts. specially since that soul is expendable
did you consider chronosweep dragon in unica? its like really strong in the restand turn and against rearguard heavy decks PS: Kitz Peak is 15k on enemy turn as well
As a big body and removal yes, however the deck space was tight and a concern was CB management. Probably could replace the cycle card with him, but the cycle proved itself nicely in the video so its up to preference

As expected, No need to force persona ride into Bico UNLESS you're sacky enough like game 2 (more like a finisher plus you can just use Unica for whole game with just 3 cri in bind zone). And for Lianorn, it's ok (not that great), 4-5 attacks (and without 3 drives so the midlane kinna bit weaker than normal form). Until now no masked unit that reached broken level like Zorga did (maybe becuase Zorga masked directly upgrade his play style unlike these2, Unica need cri which mean if you have no luck pull it out, Bico is useless while Lianorn has to be corupted by Inlet pulse).

@@shifter4375 The illustration of the pack art with Michiru and Drajeweled Masques on it is blurry. But honestly it looks good from what little we can see. The drajeweled artist seemed to have made it work.
Is normal starter better than running a crit starter on Unica? I kinda like having the guaranteed 1 crit and +1 deck space when opting for a crit starter
Its only 3 games but the 3 games in the video showed how having an extra crit wouldn’t not have matted much and the extra draw from going second did provide a good advantage
missed diantha triggering on play from drop possible second inlet pulse to draw 2 more at end turn. i know it was a pity game. but lianorn mask didnt look super great to me anyway.

Man, i kind of feel Lianorn Masques is a bit underwhelming compared to her regular version and Bico=Masques. You lose regular form's ACT to draw and call, and you lose the triple drive, having to rely on Inlets for that feels lame since you'll have to call on that circle later anyways, and most of the time your front RGs hit for wet noodle numbers

Through testing, I've found that Clapping Dragon is a pretty good card for Lianorn Masques
I'm still undecided on the Almajestar and Lianorn Masques cards. Hard to tell if including them is optional or an upgrade for the decks.
IMO, having 2 mask order is the sweetest spot to be with, having 3 mask order is excessive and having 4 is very insane.
When will Fillip call Unica/Bico by her actual name, "Astroea"? Almajester is the group name.
