Awesome. Could you advice where will it be possible to see hummingbirds in large number in Pt Reyes?

Thank you for mentioning the mismanagement of the elk, it’s really important for the public to know what’s going on out there. For anyone wondering about the situation, please check out the film Shame of Point Reyes - it’s here on RUclips. #freetheelk

Very nice video. Makes me a little homesick for California. Tule Elk can also be found at the Grizzly Island Wildlife Area of Suisun Marsh but am glad you have brought their plight to the attention of others.

I've seen them at Grizzly Island Wildlife Area too. Not sure I've been to Suisun Marsh yet, it's hard to keep track of it all being new here.

It's a magical area! Not many birds are shown here but the place also has the greatest bird species diversity of any US National Park. Like 50% of all US bird species have been recorded there.

Oh to be a baby elephant seal napping on the beach.
I was just there a few weeks ago. It’s such a beautiful place. Gorgeous work!!!! Loved the video.

We get an Allen's in our yard that I see now and then, but this day I got my best look at one. Really pretty birds.

We were going for bobcats and coyotes (of course) but was the first time we didn't see either in the park. Otherwise, yeah it was a lot to see in one day!

Nice work there Ryan. How to you like the 200-400? Would you prefer a 200-600 if Canon made it?

Thanks. The lens has been working out well. It's rich in detail and I like the way it renders for video. At this point it wouldn't really matter if Canon made a 200-600 since I'm rocking EF lenses. This way I can use Canon's EF-to-RF variable ND drop-in filter adapter with the R3. Plus EF has more compatibility with other cameras if I move to Blackmagic/RED/Sony/etc.

@@RyanMenseWildlife That variable ND filter would be REALLY nice to have for hybrid cameras -- sure wish Sony had something like that. If Canon released a 200-600 I'd be looking very closely at them.
