Ohhhh hallelujah! 😀 Between the years of 2004 - 2006, I attend a house of worship under Apostolic. An ordained minister was playing this song in the vehicle... and the rest is history. 😂 Thanks for the video. God bless you
@@OLDTIMEANOINTEDGOSPELMUSIC Who are the players in the backing band? I especially find the guitar playing on Mr. and Mrs. Mattis's album "Don't Lean On Others" to be transcendent! I'd also love to learn more about Lloyd Jones. He had quite the ear for music. It is hard to express how much nourishment I get from the music on this label.
Hi John Thanks for inquiring - What I know about Mr Jones is he was a gospel record producer in Kingston Jamaica in the late 60's and 70's. The most famous singer he recorded was Otis Wright who also recorded for "Lighthouse" - (Miss Pottinger). Otis wright was not just the most famous male gospel singer at the time he was also a guitarist but I don't know if he was the one playing. Mr Jones had an unfortunate accident wherewith the storage where he kept all his masters caught fire and destroyed everything - The only thing that was left were some vinyl records - None of his recordings were ever transferred to CD or digital because of the fire and also because he left the business and became a city bus driver. He passed away about 22yrs ago - RIP
@@OLDTIMEANOINTEDGOSPELMUSIC RIP, Mr. Jones. The music he created continues to bless us richly. It breaks my heart to hear about the fire. So much history and brilliant music was lost! That underscores why your channel is so important. You are helping to keep the music alive! Thank you. Do you know anything about Mr. and Mrs. Mattis? Their music really touches me. I have driven up the view count on "What a Day That Will Be."
@@OLDTIMEANOINTEDGOSPELMUSIC Thank you, may i ask, would you also know what was Mr. Jones' first name ? My Jamaican gospel 7" database gives so far some 100 returns for his productions between roughly 1966 and 1973 but i'm sure that there will be many more !

Who else sing this song?
Mr and Mrs Mattis wrote some of the songs they sang and I think this is one of them so if anybody else sings it, it's likely a cover
Dear Sir, could you say, is that a picture of L Jones the gospel producer ?
Ah i see now it is Mr. Mattis
Mr. Jones passed away about 20yrs ago
