Nevertheless, Melrose offered a way better final runaway performance, was more consistent through the show, won almost every challenge (sure they don't make you win ANTM, but they're always about some aspect of modeling), knew much more about fashion than every other girl, and delivered way, WAY better commercials than CariDee. I loved both girls but CariDee only won over Melrose because this show is more like America's Nicest Girl.

Actually, if you look at the cycle, likability was important to the judges. A lot of girls have been sent home for not being likable enough. None of the major bitches have won any cycle. They want the winner to be a role model and a nice person whom people can relate to and like.
Plus, after she won she didn't even model. Her career went nowhere and she hosted a reality show on oxygen. Melrose actually modeled after this show because she wanted to be a model, not famous.

CariDee English is the most annoying model doing commercials on television. There is something about her that is just over the top. I wouldn't purchase anything she is advertising.
