I love them both so much ! My father in law worked with Chayce and he mentioned how great of a person he is . Very kindhearted , hardworking young man. I am very happy he won . He deserves it ! ❣️

He was 5 seconds into his audition and I knew he was something special. I don't watch much tv but as soon as I heard his voice for the first time I ran from the kitchen to the living room to see who it was that had this amazing voice that gave me goosebumps .... I was hooked. !! I'm so excited to see what next for him. He has had rough times in his life but I believe that everything you go through in life happens for a reason and makes you a stronger person to be able to help others. He has no idea how he has helped me so far. I'm thankful.

Chayce definitely deserved it!!!! Only artist to write his own song!!! None of the others wrote their original!! This is not The Voice!! It is American Idol!! Willie and Grace were awesome and were so deserving of 2nd and 3rd place.

Caleb Kennedy was also a great song-writer. He wrote the song "Mama" which is the song he sang prior to being expelled from the show for something he stupidly did when he was 12 years old.

The thing that out shines CHAYCE, he writes music and plays the guitar, Willie doesn't do either.
Willie has written his own music.
Willie has an undeniable voice. Its American Idol, not The Voice. Star "idol" quality is part of the game. Willie was quite dull in interviews. Honestly thought would be between Grace and Chayce.
Chayce is more well rounded, he wont sound the same song after song at his concerts. He will keep the fans locked in and command a stage presence.
The 3 finals were my favorites! They all have great careers in the future!
Since Grace was selected as #3 it means most people agree with you. My choices for # three would have been Hunter Metts or Caleb Kennedy.

Willie is the best god just wanted the world to see talent he gave, chance and willie giving the genre of music will both have success. It’s room for country and r&b/gospel
It doesn't matter who wins.most of the time you never hear from winners again or none winners have more success.just look at gabby Barrett,she came in third a few years ago and has a better career then winner Maddie poppie.gabby just won 3 billboard music awards last night

That’s because the winner’s contract sucks. Maddie put out a really good album after Idol but her label did nothing to promote her.

I think he was amazing singer and I'm sure glad he won he been through a hard life and really deserve to win
The winner gets a cash prize, a title and a contract they're stuck in for a year but those that don't get the title as in the past go on to have great careers in due time. Plenty of American idol alums are doing great things without having won.
Not all winner of American idol moved on to bigger things, looked at Taylor Hicks.

Chayce has a unique sound to his voice that hooks people...like me, for instance...I'm not a country music fan at all. I had another favorite throughout the competition, but I always felt like he had a solid shot because his voice is different.

I feel that Willie and Grace were better singers but Chayce's voice was so unique! He has that "recognition factor"!
I Did Predict Chayce And Willie Being In The Top 2 Finale I Guess Was Right All Along They Both Did a Great Job This is Probably The Best Finale Ever Since Laine Hardy And Alejandro Aranda Even Though I Wasn't a Fan of Alejandro Still It Was The Best Last Season I Want To see Dillion James To Win And He end up in 3rd Place I was Upset So I'm Very Happy For Chayce He's been my Favorite To Win Since I Him Audition

I wanted Grace to win, because her singing voice is so beautiful, powerful and complete. Congratulations to Chayce the winner and Willie the second place winner. Regardless of the original top 5, the American Idol exposer has open up a music goldmine waiting for them at the end of the rainbow.

Luv this guy but it's worrisome that just before Idol he had substance use issues. Hope he gets all the real support he needs so the fame, fast cash flowing in, the adoration of fans or the 1st bump in the road in the next 5 years doesn't send him backwards.
Some, not all, people do learn from late nights of partying, not remembering the moments and wondering how you got home or in a ditch like he did. He is a mature adult, Im sure he will do well.
IMO, Chayce is the best and most deserving WGWG to win since David Cook. The four winners who followed Cook were not on the same level as him or Chayce. What makes Chayce so special is that he actually has star quality in his voice and looks like a natural when he performs with or without his guitar.

At the start of when American Idol made their Top 24, I made my Top 5. Cecil Ray, Alanis Sophia, Hannah Everhart, Mary-Jo Young, & Willie with Cecil as my main favourite. Everyone got eliminated, but Willie. I wanted Willie to win. I forgot that Chayce Beckham was in the competition. When the Top 3 (Grace, Willie, & Chayce) made their singes Chayce's was my favourite. Chayce's single reached number 1 worldwide and Country charts, and he became my favourite.... Canadians can not vote. In the end, Chayce Beckham won
I don't remember who won American idol when Jennifer Hudson and Tori Kelly didn't win. They've become more successful and recognizable than the winners and so will Willie!!!

If there is a reason to buy a lotto ticket this is it. Chayce go out and buy one immediately because luck was definitely one your side.
You make it sound like Chayce won, not because he deserved to in but through some lucky fluke. Willie had a better voice than any of the others (by far) but in the end you have to be both vocally talented and appealing to the most of those who watched and judged. Willie checked the first box but Chayce checked both of them. I was pulling for Willie but knew after Chayce's song "23" was so popular that he'd win.

I'm totally with you. Willie or Casey bishop should've won. This is a vocal competition right? Anyone with ears and a little bit of guts will say chayce is not a very talented vocalist and it ain't like he's pouring out artist vibes. The damn curly headed blind kid should've been in the top 3 but the judges fucked that up. I'm so sick of lane Hardy's and chayce type guys winning every year because the majority that watches the show are Southerners that can't see around there own noses to figure out if someone sucks at singing compared to the man or woman next to him

I believe just about every one in the top ten gets to go on an American Idol tour. With the level of talent all of them have it is not unusual for non-winners to be more successfully than the winner. Kelly Pickler comes to mind. I believe she finished sixth or seventh in the year she competed.
