A Vietnamese co-worker taught me how to make origami birds many years ago. Every few years I would practice making them but about 20 years ago I realized I had lost my skills. No tutorial or video, written instruction or anything helped. Your video is the best thing to come along. By just making the bird and not talking makes everything so clear and simple. I remember,some learning this from my friend some 7-8 years ago.That was sometime in class 3 or 4 or 5 at most.He is a year younger...We stay very close..We used to board the bus to go to school in the morning and he alongside another friend,we made a beautiful trio...We cherished so many moments back then...going to school ,Coming back from school.He taught me how to make this one day.Since then for a year or more I'd make this consistently for everybody in my class...was quite cool back then. I just passed class 12 now.Yeah we ain't as close as we used to be,studies,exams to Crack..however as I was struck by this sudden intuition to make this again. SUCCEEDED in making half of it....referred to this video for the rest and felt like putting this story up. My sister is delighted as I presented this to her.

You cut the camera right at the end. Mine wasn't flapping just like yours wasn't. Then you cut the camera and did something and when you came back it worked. So what did you do off camera to make it work? Mine don't work either like yours didn't work right before you cut the camera

I had the same issue. To fix it, you just have to loosen up the walls around the tail, if that makes sense. just unfold them a little and that should work.
