thanks so much for this great lyrics and performance. A lot of known musicians sung the song with good but other Lyrics. e.G. Joan Baez and Johnny Cash or the Soundtrack of the "1917" War Movie. All are great but this version is way better in Lyrics! May god bless you for. posting and performing it!
Thank you! I pulled lyrics from multiple versions I found and made some edits where I thought it could be stronger, or to make them more universally useful and focused on God (changing "going there to meet my mother" and similar, for example, for those whose mother is still alive, or perhaps who sadly can have no eternal hope for a mother who died without Christ).

That's fair. My vocal technique isn't the best, so I do some pitch correction on the computer. If you heard the original raw recording you would appreciate this edited version more, haha. 😁 Also, as one person singing all the parts, there is a certain resonance that is difficult to avoid.
