Thanks Beth for watching I really appreciate you. PTX is absolutely amazing and fabulous. That is such a beautiful chapel and its a shame it would have to close. Thanks again and take care.
This is one of a minority of songs where everyone gets a chance to sing a solo. Matt (bass) and Kevin (beatboxer) are usually busy doing their parts, so the solos are usually left to Scott, Mitch, and Kirstin. Even though Kevin's is the shortest, it still gives everyone a chance to hear his sweet tenor voice, and takes almost everyone by surprise! The video was shot at Wayfarer's Chapel in CA. Unfortunately, due to the recent rains and storms there, there's been damage to both the structure and the land it's on, and it's now closed - and may not be able to reopen. It's a shame, it's such a beautiful location!
Thanks Badger for watching I really appreciate you. Also thanks for the great info. Yes that would be such a shame if that Chapel can't reopen it is such a beautiful place. PTX is absolutely amazing and their voices are unbelievable and I really love them. Thanks again and take care.
That is Wayfarers Chapel in Rancho Palos Verdes, California. It is absolutely gorgeous and my son was baptized there years ago. The architect was Lloyd Wright, the son of famous architect, Frank Lloyd Wright. Thank you for listening to Pentatonix, my favorite a cappella group. I also enjoy Voice Play and Home Free for a cappella groups. ❤️
Thanks for watching I really appreciate you. PTX is absolutely amazing and spectacular and I love A cappella now. I just reacted to Home Free and Voice Play last week. That chapel is so beautiful and Frank Loyd Wright built Falling Water not far from me. Thanks again and take care.
@@grumpyoldguyreactsI am a fan of Frank Lloyd Wright’s architecture. My husband and I finally got to see Falling Water in 2018. It had been on my wish list for years.
@@m.autumngazr0714 It's probably 45 minutes or so from my house and I have never seen it. That's what they say, you don't see so many sights that are close to home. People would rather travel somewhere else.
They are a phenomena. Tx so much. From a Pentaholic. Avi Kaplan left the group amicably. 2016/2017 Matt joined the group. That is the only change. Love them to bits. Greetings from South Africa
Thanks so very much for watching I really appreciate you. PTX is absolutely amazing and I really love a cappella now. I had never heard it before. I will definitely do more in the future. Thanks again and take care way over in South AFRICA.
I bet they are really something spectacular on stage. I really love their voices and talent. Absolutely AMAZING. Thanks for watching I really appreciate you.
Thanks Kathy I'm glad to be back. Like I said I have so many requests to get to and new artists I haven't seen yet it takes a while to get back. I did the 3 A capella group's in the last week and A capella is absolutely amazing. PTX is absolutely amazing and spectacular and their voices are unbelievable. I really appreciate you watching and taking the time to comment.
PTX was pretty much my introduction to modern a cappella music too. So we started with the best, both of us. I love that you love them too! Peace from Ohio … (Way to hang in there with the earbuds. I wouldn’t force them on you, but I suspect you would get comments if you didn’t use them.) Added : Man, they did play Candy Man to death!
Yes they did, that song was on the radio constantly. I got a ton of comments after my 1st reaction to PTX for not wearing ear buds or headphones so I can suck it up for 3 or 4 minutes and listen. They do make a difference. They are really fabulous and spectacular. Thanks for watching I really appreciate you.
I'm sorry, but this isn't true. This was shot at Wayfarers Chapel in Rancho Palo Verdes, CA. (The chapel and grounds are currently closed due to earth movements from recent storms.) Matt Sallee's wedding took place at Cielo Farms, CA.
You realized that the bass in this one was sung by Matt Sallee, who replaced Avi Kaplan back in 2017! (Just because you mentioned the members in the beginning.)
Thanks Philip for watching I really appreciate it. PTX is absolutely amazing and I will definitely do much more of them. I did Pink Floyd Comfortably Numb about a year and a half ago. Maybe it was Roger Waters and The band with Van Morrison?? Thanks again and take care
@@grumpyoldguyreacts Sorry, must have overlooked that in your video list. But if you haven‘t done „High Hopes“, you should react to it. But do the Pulse Live Concert from 1994. You will not regret it!
Thanks Jeffery for watching I appreciate it. I either wrote the year down wrong or goggle was wrong . Thanks for bringing my mistake to my attention. Thanks again and take care.
Thanks Vicki for watching and for giving me the right facts. When I googled them it still says Avi was still in the group. 2017 was a long time ago and I didn't know that. Anyway PTX is absolutely amazing and spectacular. I really love them too.
Always gives me goosebumps. Sadly the chapel where this was filmed is now closed indefinitely because of erosion brought on by torrential rains.

It’s so impressive, and no less powerful, to see them perform this live on stage.

If you want an upbeat song that will raise your mood is “Sing” which is a PTX original.
Thanks Ann for watching I really appreciate you. I will definitely put your suggestion on my list.
Appreciating the ear buds here - bet you are, as well, with this particular recording
Yes I didn't think the bud's would make a difference but they do. I really love PTX and A capella. Thanks for watching I really appreciate you.

This is after Avi left the group. The new bass is named Matt Sallee.
Thanks Ginger for watching , I was not aware that Avi left until everyone has told me in the comments. Matt is great as they all are.
Sing it!
That was shot in California where 1 of them were married. 💕🙏🏼

Thanks Philip , I am now aware but I wasn't aware that Avi was gone. Matt is great also.
My favorite song!! They killed it!!! WOW
I'm sure it is your favorite. They are absolutely amazing.
Recommend their cover of Kiss From A Rose.
Thanks for watching I appreciate you and thanks for your suggestion.
Next: „daft punk“ by PTX! (Or for something completely different: Pink Floyd: Pulse Concert: „High Hopes“ or „Comfortably numb“!

Mitch was born in 1992 not 1997

Avi Kaplan was replaced in 2017 by Matt Sallee, who is in this video. He left amicably for personal reasons. Love this group!

Yeah, although Matt as been in the band for seven years, he will always be the new guy. 😅
