I absolutely love places like this. This is not junk !! My husband would say it is. Last week I seen an old metal chair at the dump. I thought it was so pretty. He wouldn't let me get it so when we got home I went back and got it. He fussed but he finally got over it and laughed about it. It's going in my wildflower garden with a basket of flowers on it. It will look beautiful!! I wish I was there with you with a big check book. Enjoyed this so much.
Thank you for watching! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gone there and wanted to break the bank. I see so many things that I have ideas for, but no space for them. 💚
This video has inspired me to go to some vintage shops in Houston this weekend. Thanks for taking us along. I saw sooo many things I would have bought on your trip...
Oh it is a good thing I don't have a shop like "Back In Time" in my county. I'd be broke AND overcrowded. My heart was going pitty pat at all those gorgeous metal chairs and those bird cages.
Thank you! I was raised to reuse and recycle. My mom was the oldest of 12 and she had 6 of her own. We had to use what we had available. As a child, I used mud to make pottery, ground up chalk for paint, made doll clothes out of old tube socks, and used flathead screwdrivers as chisels. I’m a huge fan of DIY and doing it on a budget. No pretenses over here. 💚
I really enjoy your videos, they are very calming, inspiring, and motivating. I'm in North Idaho, I can just feel the warm sun on me as you walk around you favorite store 😎. Thank you!
I just stumbled upon your video, when you said you were at back in time, why did it sound familiar? My last place of residence for 2 1/2 yrs was Redlands before moving to Texas 3 years ago. I enjoyed going there and the many thrift stores in the area. Thank you for the memories and also for showing your creativity😊
❤Just found this video at 4 am in the morning 🌄 & i subscribed. Your voice is so soothing & gentle in this mad busy world. Just what i needed...then this tour! Gurlll u opened my eyes to a whole new world. Im so over tacky or farmhouse . I like them but find they have such a cluttered feeling. You have clutter but its all nature so it feels great with a splash of little treasures here & there. I especially loved that huge birdcage (although Id never put a bird in a cage) and the wistria with the hummingbirds! Thank you very m u ch!🇨🇦👏
It’s hard to choose when I’m just browsing. I had to teach myself to go in there with a specific need in mind or I would come home with a bunch of stuff that I didn’t need or have anywhere to put. 💚
It’s really hard not to. There have been days when I have walked every aisle of this place and touched just about every piece of vintage china, napkins and tablecloths. I have sung every oldie they’ve played and bought too many items to fit comfortably in my car 😁💚
Gots to get back to Antiquing! I spotted some nice urns that I could repurpose. I pull much inspiration from places like this. Thanks for taking us along Tanya!😎
Hey, AJ! Isn’t it amazing how much inspiration we can get from just looking at things from the past. I hope you do get back out there and take us along with you! 😁💚
I so agree with on3 of the ladies on here. How people think places like this ate junk and you need a vision. I grow up on reusing stuff you never wasted. You can always find something to use in a garden or your home. Just look at it and think of where to use it. Also don't do like me and leave it behind because it could be gone when you go back.
I used to shop all three locations, Redlands Galleria & Riverside Galleria, but Back in Time was my first. Riverside used to be my favorite, but the parking is such a hassle, especially if you buy large items. 💚
Some people just have an eye for turning junk into treasures. I have a friend like that. I can’t go into a place that this without my friend. She can transform it right away, whereas I might take months to do a project. That’s just how it is.
Tanya I love going with you to that salvage place. So many wonderful pieces. John would have loved that tractor😊. Love the pieces you got. We love metal and iron pieces in our garden too. Love and blessings ❤️❤️❤️
Hi, Jean E 👋🏼 I’m glad you enjoyed shopping with me. That tractor was so cool! I love the look of metal and wood in the garden. Metal is durable and versatile. Thank you for watching. Blessings to you and your family 💚
Railroad ties. We have several stacked on top of each other to form edging. Just be aware that they have creosote that May leach out into your garden. Ours have been sealed. Love your shopping trip and ideas
Hey Busy Brown Angel, I am a first time viewer and enjoyed your hunt for treasures at that vintage spot. I have been there myself and enjoyed going down memory lane while viewing their ware.
Hi! Welcome to the family! I’m glad you enjoyed shopping with me. I love going there! I sing all of the songs that play over the sound system, touch all of the vintage china, and diligently search the garden area for treasures 💚
Tanya, I love hunting for vintage treasures that I can add to my garden. It's exciting to find just the right piece, especially when you didn't even know you needed it, which is usually the case for me, lol! I can't wait to see where you put that cute little table in your garden. Were you hunting for a table, or did it just jump into your car? 🤣🥰Your newly designed garden area is looking lusher and more beautiful with every added garden bed and trellis! Have a blessed weekend! ~Margie🤗💐🌱
Hi, Margie! Thank you! You’re always so sweet! 🥰 I was looking for a tub that day and thought I would look for the table another time. I was thrilled to find them both on the same day. What I forgot to look for was something to put the tub on. 🤦🏽♀️ Lowe’s is right across the street and the 99centsOnly store is a few doors down. I try really hard not to go in the area too often or I’ll break the bank for sure 😂 Enjoy your weekend 💚
This looks like such a treat Tanya. I see so many things that i would and could use in my garden. On my agenda is more evergreens and topiaries but more garden art
Yeeesss! I have to restrain myself when I come here or I’ll spend the mortgage money 😂 I have to put blinders on to make my way through the build to get back there. So much china, silver, and vintage furnishings to look at. 💚
I'm from Fresno, grew up there, but, I've moved out of state. I have NEVER seen such a fantastic place as this place. I see many wonderful things I want. I do have a old clawfoot bathtub I made into a planter. Have 3 antique farm plows, milk cans milk cart, mop bucket w/wheels, gas cans, etc. I wished we had a place like this near where I live. We have a neat flea mkt we go to that has a lot of old farm items, but, not like this.
Check to see if The Great Junk Hunt comes to your area. It’s about 100 vendors selling stuff just like this, but it’s only once a year. Hopefully you’ll find a shop like this one close to you. 💚
Do you have a video of the items you purchased finished and set up? Thank you for this great video. I live in Tucson, AZ however, in Chandler, AZ there is a place called Merchant Square Antique mall. There's an outdoor section that is very similar to this one. Old stuff, rusted, just fabulous.
Hi! I have videos where you can see where I placed them in the garden, but I haven’t painted the table yet. I can’t seem to make up my mind in the design. Thank you for asking 💚
I'm back again on 5/15/24 to look at this and see things I didn't notice before,. In the start of the video there was a red tool box on the ground. I had purchased a green one at Goodwill several years ago with the intent to plant succulents in it. I never did. I think I'll paint it purple sometime this rest of the week or weekend. I might put geraniums in it instead.

These are my favorite places to shop!! This is a nice lil shop. Wish it was bear me!❤
I’m here a year later, but that place is Amazing! I would be there Waaaay to often!!!!
Love your finds!
I think I am there way too often 😂💚
This video has inspired me to go to some vintage shops in Houston this weekend. Thanks for taking us along. I saw sooo many things I would have bought on your trip...
Thank you for joining me! I hope you find lots of treasures. 💚

i love how you always show that gardening doesn’t have to break the back! you keep me creative and i love that for me🥰🥰🥰🥰

Hey, Family! Thank you! 💚

Thank you for watching! Back in Time is one of my favorite spots along with Redlands Galleria and Riverside Galleria. I like Redlands Thrift also. 💚
I would love that place too! How fun!
How fun is this place! Such treasures!
That is an awesome place!!!!!! Would love to shop there ❤

I too would be like a child in the candy shop. I enjoy going to places like this and with so much to choose I wouldn't know what to buy.
It’s hard to choose when I’m just browsing. I had to teach myself to go in there with a specific need in mind or I would come home with a bunch of stuff that I didn’t need or have anywhere to put. 💚
I love that that shop I would spend soooo much time and money there…❤

I could get lost in that place for days...and would need a u-haul!
That was a wonderful selection of stuff! loved it and the prices were very reasonable. Thanks for the treat. Have a blessed day.
Thank you for watching! Enjoy your weekend 💚

Great finds. I love your garden!
Thank you! 💚
Thank you. I love the curvy pathways lined with brick. Good design.
Thank you for watching! I love those pathways too and the brick edging. 💚

I learned a long time ago to grab it when I see it. It’s never there when you go back 😂💚
Absolutely!
Me encantan estos lugares hay cosas muy bonitas para ponerlas en mi jardín

Ooohhh! I love this vintage salvage yard. I saw so many items I would love to have in my garden! I wish I lived nearby!💖
I hope you find one near you! 💚
Back in time is my fav antique store aswell!

👍👏👏👏 You make good use out of everything you have in your garden
Thank you, Nelson! I try not to be wasteful or frivolous. I was raised to use what you have and recycle. 💚

Omg I love love that place in Redands❤❤ such gorgeous antiques
Yes! One of my favorite spots. So relaxing. And the oldies music makes you want to dance. 💚
What a fantastic place to shop! Love your video!
Thank you! 💚
So jealous that you have a great eye for things. I have zero creativity, so watch for guidance and ideas.
Thank you, but I think everyone has their own creative style. We all get inspiration from each other. 💚
thanks for sharing! love this!
You’re welcome! Thank you for watching! 💚
I live very close to Redlands, CA…I’ll have to check this place out.
Make sure you stop by the Redlands Galleria also. 3 stories of vintage goods. 💚
Wish there was a place like this near where I live, I can see why you love going here.

Yes, I was having a brain lapse moment 🤣 I remembered the name later in the video. I literally grew up next to train tracks 😂
In Australia we call them sleepers
Let's hear it for old and rusty!!!

We have plenty a spots like these in Portland in my neighborhood I goes to often. I ❤️🩹 to stop there. 🤓

You are so fortunate to have a place like this to browse. I am a new subscriber and am enjoying just coming along for a look see. Great stuff.
Hello! Thank you! Welcome to the family! I tend to seek out places like this. 💚
So inspiring! Love this shopping treasure spot makes me wish for something like this near me. ❤ 🪴 🌱
Thank you! I hope you find someplace near you 💚
Nice place and great stuff. Careful of your back lifting that huge pan full of water to empty.
Thank you, but once this tub goes into its permanent place, it will be tilted to empty and not lifted. I may even add a drainage hole 💚
I have one of these places where I live.. my favorite as well
You’re good at thrifting!! So relaxing to watch 👍🏾!
Thank you! Thrifting is relaxing for me 💚
Cuantas cosas que sirven al jardin me gusto la casita arbol
Fue muy lindo! 💚
I don’t know of a store like this near me, but I would love to find one.

Welcome back! That sounds like a brilliant idea! I would’ve never thought to plant in a tool box. Awesome idea 💜🌷
Oh I have an old green tool box. I should do the same.
Love,Love
Thank you 💚
I need all this!
Lovely video! What is the name of this shop? I visit the SB area a few times a year and would love to visit.
Back in Time 💚
That place was AWESOME!! Where was that???
It’s in Redlands, Ca.
I was wondering if you could put a spigot close to the bottom of that tub
Great minds think alike. My plan is to one day run a line closer to the vegetable garden. 💚
Love 💕 💜
Thank you 💚
Conserving 💦 water! 😎 ❤
😊💚
Fun
I"m shopping along with you! Your going to fast. Slow down Nellie.
😂😂😂💚
First timer, have me a new channel
Welcome to the family 💚
So where is this place hopefully it's in Las Vegas
Sorry! It’s in SoCal.
Where is this located?
Redlands, California
Railroad ties
Yes, I remembered in the very next clip 💚
Looks like trash to me
